Join us again for this fourth volume and meet the most villainous cast to ever grace the pages of popular literature, spreading evil from the foggy underworld of London to the seedy taverns of Mars, and from the flowery banks of the Seine to New York's grimy Hell Kitchen. Fantômas, Countess Cagliostro, Victor Frankenstein, Irma Vep, Count Orlock, Erik, Madame Atomos, the Black Coats, Charles Foster Kane, and even Great Cthulhu himself... Dare meet--the Lords of Terror!

First, a confession: my review of this volume probably can't be viewed as totally unbiased, as I wrote one of the stories. But, I highly recommend the book, as I think my story turned out really well.
Now, that confession ( or shameless plug, depending on your point of view) aside, I will say this is a fun read with a good variety of stories and characters. For fans of Farmer's Wold-Newton family stories or Alan Moore's 'League of Extrordinary Gentlemen comics. Some of the character team ups were quite clever.
The stories range from clever mysteries, to science fiction, to dark suspense. Several are continued from the earlier volumes, but readers are given enough info to understand what's going on.
A nice mix of professional authors to talented amateurs like myself.
So glad I got this book. Captain Future vs Northwest Smith, Frankensteins Creature and even the Men from U.N.C.L.E. - I need to get the other anthologies in this series. Serious fun.
