Jake and his family formed their alliances and grew, preparing themselves for the battle a Guild War at the same time as they dealt with evil invaders.
As entire worlds burn, Hearthtribe unleashes its full might, fighting a desperate war on multiple fronts to drive back the corrupting tide of Tartarus. Yet the greatest threat isn't the enemy at the gates. It's the allies who plan to stab them in the back.
To save the half-dozen worlds hanging in the balance, they won't just have to win a war. They'll have to expose the truth before their entire legacy is turned to ash.
They built an empire. Now they must start a revolution.
LitRPG system, crafting, cultivation, dungeon crawling, dating, kingdom building, and an infinite universe.
The last chapter and the epilogue should have been switched. lol. Really though, it's not an awful idea. The epilogue had more direct bearing and relationship to the plot and universe. I personally struggled to pay attention to the last chapter because I was waiting for what turned out to be the epilogue.
Here's why, it explained so much and finally answered so many wrongs and perpetuated injustices. This helps me invest in the universe more. Maybe one of the best chapters of the series, despite me not wanting a shift in focus of the story.
--- I'm leery of a spinoff because authors often sacrifice the quality of the story at the altar of inter-story agreement and overarching plot and consistency. It doesn't allow room for the best parts of the story to be cultivated and bloom on their own.
I will say that the best of this kind of spinoff I've seen is where the new story covers a completely different facet of the universe that agrees with but barely touches the lore from the other series. Not just locations, as if reading adjoining historical accounts, but actual new/different dimensions of power and how things work.
Ps- while I'm still intrigued; I do worry the author is too inclusive in concepts and powers. I worry they won't fit together in the end.
I have spent many hours lost in this amazing world/universe and never regretted one. Such amazing unique characters and interesting twists on Legends and Myths we should all be familiar with has made this series such a joy to read! I personally would love to read some spin offs from this timeline in other books.
This series just gets better every book. The level Of detail that goes into this series is just amazing. All the girls are awesome and are different from each other. No one feels like the next. The plot is stellar. Convoluted sometimes, but so much detail is given that it is easy to follow. Can’t wait for the next one!
