Loved this unrelenting collection of combat sports-themed stories. Full disclosure, my short, The Cleaner, closes the anthology out, but the wild opener from Nick Kolakowski, Ashley Irwin’s gut punch of a father-daughter relationship, JB Stevens' twisty trainer/fighter tale, and David Moloney’s story about prison guards embellishing the past are the standouts. Excellent and brutal fiction put out by some of the best short fiction writers in the game, guided by Scott Blackburn’s vision makes for a tremendous compilation.
