ARC provided by the author. All thoughts are my own.

Fractured Hope, the third installment in The Exile's Paradox series, continues to build on the solid foundation laid by the first two books. It raises the stakes, deepens the intrigue, and gives us more of the layered world we've come to love.

Picking up where the last book left off, we’re reunited with Hally and Nolan, who find themselves once again thrust into danger and diplomacy as a hostage situation rocks the elven capital. With their fated connection at the heart of it all, the book gives us more insight into their shared past and what shaped them when they were apart. Their dynamic continues to evolve in a way that feels both thoughtful and emotionally grounded.

This book takes us further out into the wider world of the series, spending more time in the elven and fae realms than in Seattle, which means we see less of the familiar side characters from earlier books. But the trade-off is a deeper look into the political tensions that are simmering just beneath the surface and boiling over in moments that surprised me more than once. Several plot twists genuinely caught me off guard in the best way.

There’s a lot to love in this installment: the increasing complexity of the world, the emotional tension between characters, and the clear momentum building toward something even bigger. While this book may feel a bit more focused on the larger magical conflict than on character-driven subplots, it still carries the same emotional undercurrent that made the earlier books so engaging.

If you’ve been following the series so far, this is a solid and satisfying next chapter. It sets the stage for what promises to be a gripping continuation.

I absolutely love the world Kristine Endsley created, the characters that are part of it, and the magic that moves it. Kristine’s storytelling is phenomenal and hooked me from the beginning and kept me turning the pages until the end; and at the end, I was begging for more. This is a fast paced, action packed addition to an amazing world that you won't want to miss.

I absolutely love this series. I was chosen as an ARC for this book and realized I had to catchup and read the other 2 books. I loved them all. The FMC is sassy and strong. The story kept me on edge and I could not put the book down. The world that Kristine Endsley has created has so much to offer and is remarkable to watch build and grow. I can not wait to see what is next.

Your new favorite sassy, badass heroine is back.
The twists and turns leave Hally and Nol with barely a moment to breathe sometimes… okay, a lot of the time.

Prepare for some emotional shocks, good and bad. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I often think that series become less interesting the more books I get into, but this is still really exciting to read. I obviously have to (again) mention the language Endsley made because it really is so cool and makes it feel so much more real. also the writing style and Hally’s way of thinking and talking. I really enjoy reading and she is so funny.
Lastly, I liked reading more about her family in France, and I could really feel how much hally loves them and also misses them.

Book three and we pick up from where we left off as we once again dive back into this incredible world. The author draws us back in with an action packed and exciting read that holds us to the edge of our seat from start to finish. Gripping, intriguing and full of twists and turns as we follow our incredible characters into more danger as more secrets arise and the realm needs saving. A fantastic addition.

Hally & Nol
I really enjoyed this story, but I did realize that even thought I read Shattered Fate, I missed books 1 & 2. This is a well crafted world and a good story. I Loved it!! No Spoilers!
