Ends in a cliffhanger so be warned. I wouldn't have purchase this if it was stated in the blurb. I dislike cliffhangers!

I never felt a connection to any of the players in this story. There were some suspenseful moments that raised my rating from two stars. The characters needed more depth. The H's son was a wimp and came across as weak.

No cheating, cliffhanger - several lose ends, violence and a some suspense. I will not be reading anymore in this new series. Ended at 90% on my e-reader. (ljb)

Wow, non stop action with so many twists and turns. A really good read that made it almost impossible to put the book down. Nick Adam’s is a new author me but I am already a fan. I cannot wait to read the next book, Return Fire. A well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
