The silver hairclip sweeps Liselle de Maurier back to 18th century France where she becomes Lady Galiana, an Austrian aristocrat fleeing an unwanted marriage. Her mission? To save her great grandmother Leesa de Maurier, from Charlotte de Robespierre’s murderous revenge. Liselle meets the dashing Lord Jean-Luc Liebert and falls under his spell, but her brief affair has dire consequences for the future. When she returns to the 21st century, she discovers Leesa has disappeared from history. She meets Nicholas, a man of many secrets, at a local bar. Despite her reluctance, she falls in love with Nick, but her conflicted feelings over Jean-Luc hold her back. Liselle’s attempts to save Leesa and fix the timeline become increasingly complicated when she is drawn into Galiana’s drama and Napoleon Bonaparte’s chaos. With the help of Jean-Luc and a street kid named Charlie, she puts her daring plan into action, but whatever is waiting in her Time may be even more dangerous.
Seamlessly follows the first book but at an angle you wouldn't think of. So many twist and turns, I couldn't put it down! I truly hope there's more to come for this series, I loved it!
