Es una historia corta y está muy bien pero simplemente no ha hecho un final. Al menos para mí. Osea, al menos dime cómo será un día en la vida de la chica como secretaria de Brent o algo, es que simplemente lo dejas todo así y me he quedado un poco en plan ¿ya?

This is a fast, sizzling sexy read like only Clarissa can deliver! Job hunting has never looked as inviting. This is a story about the reuniting of two hearts that refused to be apart. Being a mall elf wasn't what Katy had in mind when she graduated college. Just the thought that Katy's family or friends might see her like this makes her wince. Then Katy's handsome ex Brent shows up. Brent broke up with the cute Katy to attend university but always planned to get back together. Brent's searched for Katy a long time and now that he's found her, he's never letting her go. But when Brent tells Katy he wants her back, she tells him “I can’t do this." Katy's already had her heart broken once by Brent ... and the thought of having her heart broken a second time by Brent? No thanks! Brent's not one to take no for an answer and tells Katy “I’m not going anywhere until I have you again.” Brent pulls out all the stops to get Katy back but is it enough to convince her that he wants forever?

empezamos los libros navideños, ya es más de la mitad del mes de diciembre.. para empezar esto en Colombia dicen que desde septiembre se siente diciembre así que porqué no empezar ya?
Ahora la historia es corta, no nos da mucho de donde crear nuestra propia opinión de la relación entre Katy y Brent y tampoco nos da un cierre al final, por esa razón le doy 2 estrellas y 1 más porque la navidad es mi época favorita del año

Meh. Brent finds Katy working as an elf in the mall. He let her go to follows his dreams. She was heartbroken but rolls right over almost the moment she sees him.

DNF - I can see why it's rated so low. Lurching dialogue, jarring plot holes. I'm not sure if this was even harder to read because I didn't get to a MMC viewpoint, if there is one.

No me gusto esta novela. No me convención la relación que se forma entre Brent y Katy. Como si ellos quisieran pasar un día de sexo y nada más. Todo esto ocurre en Navidad.

I'm not sure why this is labeled as erotic. I really didn't see it that way. The story was pretty good and the back story helped pull you in. Katy just got a job as an elf at a Santa Claus display. It was a really cute idea because she is clumsy and awkward all on her own. But then as fate would have it she spots him standing in a corner staring at her.
Brent is an old flame who left Katy when he was offered a chance for College. Emotions are still high but who could resist such a tempting offer for lunch, which turns into a drink? Katy and Brent couldn't and then the kiss that happens during drinks opens up a door neither can close. It was a very short story so you just really get in the characters and it at an end. The good thing is you can get a complete story in a short period of time. I fit it in my Christmas evening and I have to say it most of the notes that I like in a story.
There are parts that make you laugh, a hot leading man, clumsy heroine and a past flame that was never put out. Time can help you to accept reality but it can't eliminate the memories that were shared. I enjoyed reading the two build upon what was lost complete with speeding pulses and dirty talk. There is one love scene that is hot in itself but I would not call it erotic. Fun steamy read with a dirty Santa at the end. I would definitely sit on his lap. Enjoy!

Missed Potential in a Holiday Romance

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been scouring my Kindle for short holiday stories to help me reach my goal of 200 books read this year. *One Helluva Christmas Romance* caught my eye for its festive theme and second-chance premise. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite deliver the emotional depth I hoped for.
The story is undeniably short, and while that can work for some holiday tales, it left this one feeling underdeveloped. The premise—a reunion between Katy and Brent—offered potential, but the lack of proper groveling from the MMC really detracted from the second-chance dynamic. For what Brent put Katy through, I expected him to work harder to earn her trust and forgiveness, but the resolution felt rushed and unearned.
That said, the story does deliver on steam, which might satisfy readers looking for a spicy seasonal read. However, for me, it lacked the emotional payoff to make the romance feel satisfying.
If you’re in the mood for a quick, steamy holiday escape, this might work for you. But if you’re looking for depth and redemption, this one falls short.

Oh Katie, what a fun, flirty and klutzy heroine. She is currently a Christmas elf and feels her life couldn't get any worse until the love of her life sees as an elf. Brent walked away from her 4 years ago and now he decides to show up. Try as she might to stay away from him, that old spark is reignited. There are some fun twists as they go and their passion is off the charts. A fun, quick holiday read!

I loved this very short novella and that is the ONLY reason in giving this a 4. Even though it is so short there is so much in this heart warming book as you can feel ALL of Katy's heart ache of when Brent changed his plans of where he went to College and didn't stay in touch, whilst she stayed home and things didn't go to plan for her. Then when he show's up, all the emotion floods up but she JUST CAN'T SAY NO to him.

I Loved It!
Brent may have broken up with Kate to go away to college. But he went graduated, got accomplished in a career and came back home as a career oriented person to work and find Kate to reconcile and be together like they should be. I really enjoyed reading this book.
