After the "Acid Murders" happened in London, Visage is all but in ruins as an agency. Many girls leaving, due to all of the deviant occurrences, and the acid killings themselves. May Lin, and Evie find out, through their time in Visage, that there are a lot of sick people pulling the strings behind more than a few modelling agencies, particularly, in Paris, France. The pair, under the training, and blessing of May Lin's father, go to Paris, to uncover the nasty underbelly of the industry, under the guise of still being models, looking for work. Soon, they uncover a world so vile, and so nasty, they find themselves surrounded by sadists of the worst kind. The kind that use young, hopeful girls like themselves for their own disgusting desires, and, enjoy destroying things that they find to be beautiful. Evie, and May Lin, with the help of a few friends, decide that it is time that they all pay the ultimate price for what they have done. It was time to take down the monsters behind this glamorous facade. Along the way, they run into another cloaked, dark figure, who, seemingly has the same goal that they do. Can this new figure be trusted? Can, and will May Lin and Evie complete their quest to make all of the monsters pay? Can they all work together? And, how far, and deep does this grotesque underground of sick fantasies go? I loved this, as I had just finished the first book! I am all about a great revenge tale, and this one was up there! The violence involving acid is definitely there, but, not as prevalent as the first book, but, what was, was the sexual violence, and torture. And, I mean it is vile! But, in a most delightful, and fucked up way. Readers definitely beware! I am finding that, every book I read from Erica, is better than the last, and I love that! I highly recommend this book, but, I also recommend you take the time out to read the first, beforehand. Trust me!

Erica has done it again. I absolutely adored Book 1, and this is such a solid follow-up. And Book 3 is coming?! YES, I'm ready.
As expected, the book oozes with gore and sex, and it's fast-paced and delivers in a way only Erica can. We get more insight into some of the characters and their background as we follow Evie and May Lin into Paris.

Oh yes, another unhinged and disturbing tale of satisfying revenge. 🔥 I especially liked to read about the interesting background stories of the characters. They’re wild and the twists are absolutely mind blowing! Erica is so talented! I loved this sequel just as much as I loved part 1 and I can’t wait for the next installment.

May Lin and Evie are back! After moving to Paris to get revenge on Claude, nothing could go wrong. Modelling in Paris! Until an unexpected figure or two from the past comes up.
This was a right fun time once again! Reliving the girls modelling lives and looking more In depth with some proper wronguns. I love the revenge on the most vile people! Matches the energy of the first book which is sometimes a struggle! Super excited there’s going to be another one. As always different viewpoints from different characters really set the scene for this. Including the most vicious of characters we get an insight into their lives too! Glad to see the end of some of them. Pacing is super quick so you won’t be bored reading this one. One thing after the other with this. Beautiful story!

More gore but good
This book had more gore and also more POV backstories which I liked. I may have missed the reasoning of Francine's demise, like the "why" since she assisted as a "good guy". I also missed the "why"behind the results of May Lin & her dad. Regardless this had spice like the first book of this series, but it was like black spice so....2/5
Knowing there's a 3ʳᵈ book is a bit exciting, so off to find it!

A deliciously acidic sequel… and I cannot wait for the next instalment! Another round of horrific, gruesome but incredibly satisfying vengeance from these strong female characters who aren’t insipid or vacuous. Erica Hart knows how to keep the reader rooting for the protagonist against the violent, sadistic murderous pieces of shit in this world. Looking forward to the next one :)

We all know Erica’s writing has my heart by now. Anything she writes, I am obsessed with. She gives you back stories, gore, spice & the best story lines every single time. So I was obviously super excited for this one & of course I read it the same night I got it 😌 would I be me if I didn’t 🤷🏼♀️
The girls are back & this time they’re in Paris! They’re still using the guise of modelling in order to carry on Arabella Scott’s legacy. Intent on getting the justice she deserves all in the name of revenge, it’s time for Claude to be taken down 💪🏽
Of course it’s not as easy as that though they have hurdles to cross. His circles are huge and full of shady evil men & he’s into some nasty business behind the scenes. The more they learn about what Claude is capable of & involved in, the more they need to get rid of him..
Are the girls really capable of infiltrating that kind of life? Maybe not but it looks like the acid killer is back & they sure as hell won’t let Claude or his men hurt anymore girls if they can help it, that’s for sure!!
Oh I bloody love Erica SO much!! Reading this had me on edge, it’s so action packed you cannot guess what’s going to happen or where it’s going to take you! I barely breathe through out certain scenes 😮💨 I cannot put into words how happy her books genuinely make me 👏🏼
I see so much of Melody in Evie with the way she has grown in this book & takes no shxt, love her! Also a new character in the name of Becky was noticed & obviously admired, I can’t wait to see what else comes of her!!🤭

Follow this story of fast paced, female strength and intelligence. Set in France, using a mixture of rural and city based locations. Highlighting the seedy background and lust for extreme desires. This story has you binge reading to find out what happens next, as your willing and rooting for Evie, May-Lin and new addition Becky. Background build up for the characters in this book is brilliant and highlights their origin story which are all intense, disturbing and effortless soul crushing. This is an extreme horror so please check your triggers! With that being said it beautifully capsulated the sheer horror of Beautiful women ripe for the knife! Oh the sheer spice complexes this into an intoxicating experience of horror erotica!

This is extreme horror for all the right reasons. I blocked my imagination during those gory moments and tried to picture the blue sky, the gentle waves and...nope my mind said, 'Try again...never." Thanks to Evie, for using the other detached arm and smacking the 💩 of the sick b@$turd, at least those scenes made me laugh out loud. 🤣 Okay...it sounded wrong, but you need to read the book to understand it.
