Nina Santangeles is lost in a blizzard as the roads become more treacherous and nightfall looms. She spots a light and knocks on the door of the house, but can’t believe who answers. She has two unpleasant choices. Freeze to death in her car, or wait out the storm with Cameron Easton and Alex Gable, the two men who seduced her, and then trashed her career three years ago.
Ravenna Tate lives in the Midwest where it’s cold six months out of the year, but inside her stories you’ll find plenty of heat. The sex is hot, the men are alpha, and the women give them a run for their money.
What do you do when you think that the two men you shared a glorious night with betrayed you? You leave and never look back. You may have gotten your heart broken, but you aren't going to hang around and let them hurt you again and destroy your career. But what if fate steps in and put those two hot, steamy, sexy men in your path again? Do you confront them? Believe them when they say they were framed? Do you give into your desires and give them a second chance?
Nina dwells a little too much about what happened in the past. Cameron and Alex have been friends for years and they have longed to find Nina again. All this makes for a very seductive read.
Sometimes you need a little entertaining after a long day, Cameron and Alex can satisfy your needs nicely. I mean, wouldn't you rather get nice and toasty with two devilishly handsome men then freezing out in the cold?
I really enjoyed this sumptuous menage read. I look forward to more from these three.
"Snowbound" is the perfect way to spend an evening...figuratively AND literally. Ravenna Tate is a newbie at Evernight Publishing, and she fits in perfectly. She has written a short, sweet, and hot story that will melt your heart as well as your panties.
Nina is completely lost. She's caught in the middle of a blizzard, and the road is white and dangerous. Her phone and GPS are useless, and she's close to being forced to spend the night in her car on the side of the road. See approaches a house, and when she knocks, she comes face to face with with an unpleasant (but maybe just a LITTLE pleasant?) memory of her past.
The blurb sums up the story perfectly, so I won't waste any more time on telling you about it. I'm here to tell you about how perfectly "Snowbound" comes together. I mentioned that this was a short book, so there's not much time to draw anything out. The three main characters, Nina, Cameron, and Alex, have such an outstanding chemistry. There has been something between them for more than three years, and it's obvious due to the way Ms. Tate writes their interactions. There is tension, of course, not because of anything THEY have done. They were victims of dishonest colleagues and mixed signals. Once everything is out in the open, we are treated to one of the most loving, romantic, and sexy love scenes I've ever read. Cameron and Alex are tender while being dominant, and Nina gives as good as she gets. So, so good. In fact, I went back and re read it a second time.
Since this is a stand alone story, everything wraps up nicely. So nicely, I am sincerely hoping that Ravenna Tate will write a sequel to this one. I'd love to stay in touch with these fantastic characters.
I seen the cover of this book and knew it would be one that I would want to read. This was one greatly written book and I can't wait to read more from this author. I believe the weather was more believable in the book because that is what it was doing at my house.
I believe that it was fate that brought Nina, Alex, and Cameron together again. There were things that needed to be answered and lives that needed to be liven. If only Nina hadn't left without getting some answers from Alex and Cameron. Maybe she needed to live through that, but she can still look into eyes and see if they are telling the truth and are worthy of her trust.
If only books were try life. I would love to write a story and have it come true. A life can only be lived once it is written, that would be the best in the world. It wouldn't all be the way we wanted it in that life either. I would love to have two men at my side and not just be the lover's that I wanted but be there through my life.
I could honestly see where the author was coming from in this book. Just like the movie, everyone has different ways of seeing what a movie is about and has it's own way of talking to them. I just want to say that I loved the book and the thing that I didn't like is that it was too short. Just when I was getting into it it was over. I will warn you that this has a M/F/M relationship. There are no relationship between the males.
I liked how Nina, Alex and Cameron come together and resolve their past problems. These three are a great team. I look forward to reading more of their story
