Great Book!

I couldn't put the book down, each case was so interesting, I've always enjoyed Mr. Neal's writing, read all of his books! The Gilbert Goons story hit home to me, I lived in Gilbert,Arizona when the city was just starting to grow, I'd like to find out the sentences these Goon boys finally got!

Another interesting read full of true crime stories.

X- A Shot In The Dark- This one was shocking, a very jealous selfish man had an affair and when she didn't want to continue with him, he injected her with AIDS and hepatitis C pretending it was her B12 jab.

X- Silent Screams- One of the worst safeguarding ever...
An 8 year old girl was abused and neglected by her own Dad and Stepmum.
Malnourished to the point that she was two stone! 😪
Despite neighbours reporting, her mums constant worry and trying to get her back, the socials and police doing 'welfare checks' and just taking her dad's word for it, ultimately ending in her death.

X- The Gilbert Goons- Another horrendous story of absolute pathetic, weak bullies using social media to show them beating up people and ultimately killing a boy, just because. Absolutely devastating.

Another excellent volume from Jason Neal. Always an automatic buy. I devour every volume he publishes. The last case in this one was particularly disturbing to me. How could someone murder the person whose first word was their name? What motivation did he have to choose her to fulfill his dark fantasy? Some crimes I will never understand.
