A Montana Wolves crossover romance...

When Willa Stone is cast aside by the alpha-wolf she’s been promised to since birth, she’s humiliated and angry, but also secretly relieved. Now, maybe she’ll have the chance to mate for love. If her power-crazed parents will just give her a little time, she’s sure to find the man of her dreams…

Dragon-shifter, Drake Blackbourne, has an itch to scratch and precious few options for an outlet. When the Stone family offers up their daughter’s hand in exchange for protection and political favors, he agrees to wed her, sight unseen. Drastic times call for drastic measures and, so long as she does her part and keeps out of his way the rest of the time, surely he can manage to bed her, no matter how plain she might be.

What he doesn’t expect is that captivating, defiant Willa will ignite a fire in him that will burn everything in its path, and turn both of their worlds upside down…

This book is a three-part serial and contains a cliffhanger!

Loved this first installment of a 3 part serial series, which is a spin-off of her Montana Wolves series (great series BTW). I love shifter books, especially wolves and dragons! This one does have a cliffhanger, but I'm so looking forward to seeing what happens next! More Drake please!

A lot shorter than I was expecting, and don't think I'll bother reading the next two parts. Even all together they're too short to make up a really good book, in my opinion anyway.

Drake and Willa are a thunderstorm from the start , Willa wants to choose her own fait and is floored to know drake is just another shifter that's wants to try and take that away from her so naturally she trys to escape him and have freedom to do so, but her growing attraction is stalling her to the point where she doesn't even know why she's running. Willa is a stubborn chick who is described as a bit thick which in my case wasn't satisfying, I know the author was trying to change it up a bit and make thick girls feel comfortable in there own skin but when I read books like this it makes me pissed because I'm a thick person and trying to imagine myself with someone as described to be as good lookin as drake let alone someone else I cringe because being whith someone you think to be more beautiful is bound to bring up some insecurities (not attractive). I don't want to read about thick girls because call me a bitch if you will but I'm more fond on reading about a girl who has curves in all the right places and toned in a feminine way then someone who is described as chunky to me. I like books to take the attention off me and bring out someone I would like to be in that moment. Drake is sexy but is really boring and I have a hard time enjoying his character.

I enjoyed the layout of the story If only it was a better.

This book is based off my opinion alone and not to make anyone feel out of place or insulted. Thanks for reading

Willa (wolf shifter) dodges a bullet when the arranged marriage set up by her parents to the pack alpha when he decides to mate with someone else. Just as she thinks she will have the right to choose her future mate, her parents again have arranged a marriage for her, only this time she wasn't informed beforehand and she is already married by the time she meets her new husband.

Drake (Dragon shifter) agrees to mate with Willa not realizing she never knew about the arrangement. They both attracted to each other but after Willa "disappears", Drake feels betrayed and lied to. It takes letting go before they get their hea.

Dual pov that ends with a hea.

I hate split books. These are not series but a single book that is split into a number of parts to make the author more money, in this case from what I can tell 3 parts. In this case it wasn’t clear from the website I found this story on that it was a split book and I ended up reading part 2 first, needless to say it made little sense. I then found part 1 and read that to get the context for part 2. Although the story isn’t bad I have no intention of reading part 3 and wouldn’t have read any of it had a realised it was a book of this format. For those who like this format it is not a bad story line

I really did enjoy this book. This was a very quick read. For a novella the story flowed very nicely with a good ending. I felt sorry for Willa. She was betrayed by her parents. She was expected to mate with the Alpha of her pack and had grown up with him and they were very good friends. He chooses someone else and basically throws her out of the pack. Her parents make a deal with a dragon shifter and drop her off with nothing and expected her to just go along with it all. A lot of passion between Willa and Drake Blackbourne but she keeps trying to escape. A lot of action and some suspense. Recommend.

Now have your parents arrange another one & not even tell you just take you up a mountain & kinda drop you & run? What a way to meet your new dragon husband. Loved reading about Willa & drakes story of patience, learning to trust finding oneself is remarkable. If you truly love something set it free it will return if loves you

Willa Stone is cast aside by the Alpha wolf she's been promised to since birth, but that doesn't stop her scheming parents from using her to make a better deal. When the dragon snatches her up, she's sure this is her last breath, only to become infuriated with her parents and Drake Blackbourne.

This is a romance, so you know the fire of her anger melts her aching heart, but wow, is it fun to watch.

Honestly not bad. I was pleasantly surprised. There is a typo on the first page of the ebook so that feels a little weird, but it was overall an easy read. The story line didn’t feel drug out at all and I was into the characters and it was a nice little refresher of a book.

DRAGO-LICIOUS !!!

A dragon and a wolf! Oh my! Oh my! I am so excited! My two favorite shifters in one new series by Chloe Cole. Coercion is the first installment in this new three part serial, Montana Dragons. And what a delight it is! Exciting! Original! Imaginative! Captivating! Thrilling! Gripping! Romantic! Sexy! Hot! What dragon isn't sexy and hot? Right? The story is original and very well written. The dialog is smart, sassy and flows smoothly and beautifully. The characters are fascinating and intriguing. These elements all combine to weave an eloquent web of fantasy, enveloping you in its magic while capturing your attention and your heart. Beautiful wolf shifter, Willa Stone, was promised as a child to be the mate of Greyson West of Big Sky Canyon Pack. But now that Greyson is alpha and has chosen another to be is mate, Willa is heartbroken, angry and embarrassed. She is tired of the pitied looks from her pack so she agrees to leave the pack with her parents. Little does she know that her uncaring parents have betrayed her yet again for political and monetary gain. Handsome sexy dragon shifter, Drake Blackbourne, is reclusive and has an itch to scratch and wants his own female to scratch it. He never anticipates the beautiful Willa to be so fiery and beautiful. So when Willa's parents abandon her and she meets Drake, the sparks begin to fly-quite literally. Oh my goodness! Sexy dragon-check! Beautiful wolf-check! Instant attraction and chemistry-check! Shazam! Congratulations Ms. Cole, you're on a roll! You've done it again! Another masterpiece of entertainment!

The wonderful thing about reviewing is … meeting new talent. A story with one of my favorite shifters in it, a plus among the stars for me.
A young woman spurred by a planned mate, a alpha of her pack. Greyson is just about to rock many boats and set a course that will affect not just him but others. Willa wasn't at all happy with the fact of the arranged marriage her parents had made, but its what she grew up with... duty to the pack and her parents and all. So when her attended leaves her unattended and chooses another mate for love, whats a girl to do? But follow her very angered parents out the hall and the end to the pack she grew up with. Little does Willa know her parents made a pact with the devil... or a Dragon.
My favorite line of is Willa in her own thoughts “..was no question he was hot. Like, crazy, balls to the wall, sex on a stick, hot” loved it!!
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Drake and Willa, your heart will go out to her for what she goes through, but it will be bolstered in her sassy personality. Its a quick little story, fast paced that leaves of course some questions. A scene just hot enough to let you know there will be more sheet scorching yumminess. So yes... stay tuned I soo want the next book, but until then I recommend this to anyone that loves dragons and wolves. Enjoy.

I was given an arc copy by the author for an honest review.

I lovely story to start a new series.

Willa has been turned down by the alpha she was promised too.
Now her very ambitious parents take her away from her pack and her friends to a new one and to a mysterious new Alpha.
Willa didn't want to marry her best friend nor does she want to marry this new alpha male.
but on the road to this new pack Willa finds her self abandoned, alone and married to the new alpha...only he is not an Alpha wolf but rather an Alpha Dragon!!!!

Captivating and emotionally high with well written characters that will make you want to get to know them and you'll find yourself not wanting to let the book down.
I love it when a series has wolves in it...what i love more is when it has Dragons and this one is not one you want to mess with.
I am not a fun of cliff hangers and i was warned by the author about it and i can tell you that its of the few times that i didn't mind the cliff hanger.
A short story that will make you laugh and giggle and swoon!
The author has managed to fit into few pages a very large story nicely.
I can't wait to read more of the story and to get to know more about this author.

**Was given an ARC by the Author in exchange for an honest review.**

I LOVED Willa and Drake's love/hate romance.

Humiliated by the Alpha of her pack by his marriage to another when they were in an arranged marriage since birth. He was her best friend and he turned on her as did her pack. They felt nothing but pity.

With her parents feeling betrayed as well, the small family defects from the pack and moves on to another one in Montana. At least that's what Willa is told. When she wakes up after midnight, having sat in the car all day driving with her parents, they are way past their new home. When they exit the car to eat, her parents run back and leave her. Willa turns around to see a dragon land in front of her.

Drake made a deal with the Stone family, in exchange for political power and protection of their pack, they will GIVE him Willa to marry. They sold her, legal papers and everything. They NEVER looked back, and they had no remorse either.

Willa tried every possible way to escape her new husband's lair, with no luck.
The physical attraction is there, but she's a wolf, she needs to run; not be locked up in the sky.

Will her old pack come looking for her? Or is she stuck with the dragon shifter for life?

Read on!!

REVIEW
New to me author

Short but sexy book. Willa is a shifter who has been told what she will and won't do from birth. She was to marry the current Alpha but he chose another so her family is picking up and heading out. They have something up their sleeve and Willa never sees it coming.

Drake is a dragon shifter. You know top of the food chain. The moment he lays eyes on Willa he wants her but he makes a promise to her. Things all change though when that L word pops into their souls.

Will it be too late for this couple after deception and lies take part?

This was a sexy, hot book although short. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to those friends of mine who like their shifter book with hot sexy alphas.

This book was gifted to me.

Out of the frying pan into the fire couldn't be more apt for shifter wolf Willa. She has been rejected by her life long friend as a prearranged mating. While they were not a love match she cannot adjust to the change in her life plans. When her parents commiserate with her and tell her they will leave the pack, they fail to mention the fire they head for is dragon shifter Drake.

Neither is happy that she is deserted by her parents and left with Drake, never having seen a dragon, and not knowing the arrangement her parents have made.

He needs a mate and she needs to find her own way—that doesn't include a sexy, hot, stubborn dragon. This first part captures not only Willa but the reader. Their mutual attraction—lust--is strong, but can they come to terms with lust alone? I'm in and can't wait to see how these two strong personalities meet their fate.

I was provided an ARC for an honest review.

Willa was betrothed from birth to Greyson, but when he decides to take another mate, Willa's life is turned upside down. She is sold to a dragon shifter named Drake, and when she meets him for the first time is not happy to discover they're already married. Willa is constantly trying to escape, but when Grey arrives, he's too late, she's already fallen in love with Drake. When Drake wakes up to find the love of his life gone and she is with the man she was betrothed to, he thinks it's another escape plan. This becomes a war no one can ever win.
I really enjoyed this book, it was the first of Chloe's books I've read, and I really loved her style of writing, you could really feel both Drake and Willa's pain, hurt, love and devastation. A beautiful story that will have you tearing up with the pain both Willa and Drake feel. If you enjoy Tasha Black, Kim Fox and Roxie Noir, you will enjoy this book too.

I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest and fair review

Chloe’s parents have offered her up as wife to dragon-shifter Drake Blackbourne in this exciting paranormal romance.

With a fast pace and smooth flowing plot, this romance gets the heart pumping with strong compelling characters and lots of excitement. Chloe and Drake both grab the reader’s attention and don’t let go and the reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as Chloe is offered up like a piece of property to a dragon. Sparks fly in every direction as Chloe may be scared but she’s not going to take this laying down no matter how hot the attraction burns.

The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life and the fascinating world draws the reader in and ensures they come back for more. Even though it has a cliffhanger, I was completely taken in by the first part in the Montana Dragon series and I can’t wait to read the net one.

I received this for my honest review. Willa is a wolf shifter that was jilted by the Alpha in her pack, Willa’s parents leave the pack and are looking for allies to get revenge on behalf of their daughter. Unknown to her they sign a marriage contract with a dragon shifter Drake, Willa’s parents are old school and don't give her any choices. The first she realises what is going on is when they pull up to an abandoned road and basically leave her there to face this huge dragon.
Then we meet Drake who is searching for someone who can stay with him, he's given up on finding his mate. Willa and Drake are both strong willed and stubborn characters and this makes the story an interesting read. Their story is great as it's different to your usual shifter pairings, well worth getting.

Ok so I have to say I love dragon shifter reads but throw in a wolf shifter too, awesome. Willa has just been humiliated by her alpha although she can't blame him for wanting a mate to love, it's what she wanted too. Her parents refuse to stay with the pack and take Willa away, unbeknown to Willa, they've already taken care of her future. Enter the dragon, Drake. He wants a mate who can share his life and deal with his shifter side but he had no idea that Willa would turn into much more than that. Will misunderstandings be the reason it falls apart?
I loved this story, good plot, nice writing, good characters, lots of angst, some romance, great sex. It has a bit of everything and although a series each has its own HEA. I would recommend.

Awesome just awesome, I'm going to have to finally say as much as I despise the concept of serials I have to give praise when it's earned. This book has earned my praise. I love this story so far. It has a betrayed & tricked but big beautiful & sassy female mc. Then there's the sexy arrogant secretive alpha who has decided she's his whether she agrees or not. What could go wrong? I still hate cliffhangers and this was pure evil on the authors part. How could she leave me at the point where I was really getting into it and bam! Now I have to go grab part two because I NEED to know what's happening. Nice job Chloe Cole!

Coercion: Part 1 by Chloe Cole 4 Stars

This is a very enjoyable story. The book will evoke emotions such as first anger at how, being hman or not, could sell their child, to utterly heartbroken at a betrayal, to a exciting HEA ending.

Drake and Willa's story is a new look on Dragon's and their mates and what they do to obtain one. Or not, lol.
A really good story to get lost in. A different time. A different way of thinking, but with the passion of a true love story.
PNR lovers will enjoy this. Mature audiences 18+ Strong sexual language.

was given a copy for an honest review. I really got into this story, couldn't put it down! I felt so bad for willa. Not only did she get jilted but her parents completely SUCK! I can't wait to find out what happens next. I hope her new man makes her parents pay in the end. I am also very curious to find out what her parents will get out of the deal they made with drake for their daughter. definitely recommend, I also see the price is .99¢ I think it's a great buy! only drawback is that it's a cliffhanger but still worth it.
