About the author

K. Rose has been a part of the Indie Author Community for years. Getting her start as a reader, her keen eye led to a wonderful career in Alpha/Beta and ARC (Advance Reader Copy) reading. As a joke to her fellow advanced reader colleagues, she created a spoofed blurb and cover for a story and the feedback was so positive that it sparked her to run with it.
That stoked a fire that has her racing down a multi-genre freeway with no off-ramp in sight. K. doesn’t write to “market” and she is fairly certain that her humor and use of puns may cause an eye roll or two. This still wouldn’t stop her from making sure there is humor in every one of her stories. As a Multi Genre Author, there is sure to be something for everyone to love.
She has traveled the USA extensively, including Alaska, and lived in thirty-eight of the fifty states. Home is now the beautiful state of Wisconsin, where she dreams up her stories in the company of her menagerie of furbabies, including five puppies, five rescue kitties, a bunch of chickens, ducks and turkeys ruled by a Rooster named Chicken Parm, and a ninety-gallon tropical fish tank.
Life will always be interesting for K. Rose, which will fuel her works, and keep her muses singing, come join the chorus.

This was such a fun, funny and quirky read! This is a why choose romance for Marshmallow, and I have to say the author had good fun with the sentient food theme. With all the cringy wording you could want in a romance (or never want. Lol!), a ton of puns and humour, and a sweet and spicy romance, it was a page turner for me. I love that I was giggling out loud throughout ;D Expect a plot with all that spicy fun, though, in this well written and unexpected romance. So good!

Fun and spicy!

This was so different from anything I've ever read and I devoured it! It was fun, sweet and spicy! I couldn't put it down. I loved all the food/dessert puns! Marshmallow has amazing and sizzling chemistry with her new neighbors. They're all so different but are made for each other. There's playfulness and banter, but still so much heart!

This was for fun as a buddy read but was legitimately one of the worst things I've ever read - yes, it's a sentient object romance so you have to go into it with the right lens, but the writing was all over the place (it kept switching tenses) and it was never clear if they were sentient objects or humans with some food-like tendencies. And it's labeled as a why choose but there wasn't really any choosing.

Have you ever read romance and thought - I want a book with endless puns and some cheesiness too. A book that doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's still a great read… With candy and cream and gooeyness to your heart’s content?

Have I got an awesome sauce book for you! And did I mention sauce!?! The fondue is creamy and thick and — I'm getting ahead of myself 😁

Marshmallow moves to a new town in a new building and meets Chocolate right away. They come to an agreement of sorts and then Biscuit and Graham become a part of their sandwich as well. As they intertwine, everyone's feelings melt together and they have to decide what that means for their hearts and their lives.

In this yummy why choose, there is so much heart and actually some depth to it as well. I love their character arcs. Chocolate’s is especially epic as he really learns a good deal about himself and in doing so he was able to better develop relationships with the others. Marshmallow is th glue that holds them together and she is strong as molasses even when she seems vulnerable at times. And Biscuit and Graham - they are sometimes misunderstood… but maybe they're sweetness will be understood with some patience.

This story is a dessert that I couldn't resist. It was rich and decadent and so spicy 🥵 🥵 🥵, even though it was a smore. 😉 I adored it!!

S'more Love: A Sentient Food Satirical Billionaire Why Choose Romance by K. Rose.  Marshmallow moves to the city where things aren't working out.  In her new building she meets Chocolate.  Chocolate is a billionaire that's used to getting what he wants.  However when Graham and Biscuit show up wanting a taste jealousy starts to rise.  Can they find a way to make things work or are they just too messy together?

    I really enjoyed this story for mutiple reasons.  First the idea of Sentient Food is pretty unique and really adds to the story.  Second Rose has seamlessly included so many ridiculous phrases and innuendo you can't help but be impressed.  Who knew food could be so $exy? Now despite the comedy that comes from the story it doesn't lack an actual plot as readers can relate to their sticky situations, and how messy love can get.

     This billionaire romance includes themes of indecent proposal, power dynamics, meet cute, forced proximity, and why choose. This original book was a great read and if you enjoy books with sentient things, in this case food, then this is definitely a must-read to add to your TBR

S’more Love is a fun, spicy, and delightfully over the top treat that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The premise is as indulgent as the title suggests, sweet, messy, and utterly decadent. The chemistry between Marshmallow and her three new neighbors practically crackles off the page, and each character brings a distinct flavor to the story: rich, teasing, or slow burning, depending on your craving.

The writing leans heavily into the dessert theme, which is both clever and occasionally a bit much. It’s equal parts mouthwatering and sugar overload. Still, there’s genuine warmth beneath the heat, and the playful tone keeps things light even when the spice level soars.

If you’re looking for something quick, steamy, and deliciously self aware, this book hits the spot. Just be prepared for a little extra sweetness and a whole lot of melt.

From the first time I started reading books from the author K. Rose I have enjoyed each one. She keeps me ensnared in her words of intrigue until the very end. Her characters are all interesting to read about and enjoyable. I loved reading S'more Love... I found the story to have a few laugh out loud moments and a second chance with Romance. The ending was like Wait a minute... What just happened? I found it a big surprise that made me want "S'more".
The FMC is a beautiful gal and when she gets heated she becomes all soft, cuddly and squishy on the inside. The Three MMC's are handsome, Sweet with a lot of hot gooey spice on the side. These gents will melt you to the floor with just one look.
So, if you love reading Cute and Soft FMC's, Sweet, Gooey and Hot MMC's and Hot Scenes That Melt in Your Hands. Then you will be in a sweet delight reading S'more Love.

K.R have written such Amazing book i loved her book smore love . I love following fmc in her journey and i loved to read her growth as a character…. I just really love the Way these authors writes… all the books she writes is always soo good and always keeps me on my toes… the Way their writing is soo intresting.. i have loved all the books i have read by her… i love the fmc story and i love watching her realstionship with grow stronger and stronger…. i really loved the twist and turn…This really Kept my interest the whole Way and i really loves this book…this book was freaking good.. This was definitely an unexpected break from the normal romance books that I read. It's definitely not something I would normally pick up, or even think I wanted to read.

I was so ready for a nice light read that I'd chuckle through and really have no expectation to enjoy the story. But I was really pleased with the book. Really enjoyed all the interesting tropes that this book brought out.

The characters were intriguing, with their own distinct personalities and specific tastes(get it, tastes) that added just the right amount of flavor and details to the story. As we all know, the perfect smore needs chocolate, marshmallow and a graham cracker(or biscuit) so these four are made for one another in a very specific way. And they find that they meld together into a delicious relationship.

What a delightfully fun romance read. I mean this book just re-set me with all the cheesiness and food puns throughout the book. It was so much fun! Marshmallow moves to the city and quickly meets Chocolate, a billionaire who's used to getting his way. Then come Graham and Biscuit who also want some of Marshmallow's sticky sweetness and between the three some jealousy arises. How can they all come together in blissful balanced harmony? What a read...I mean be forewarned that this book has plenty of puns that will have you giggling and eye rolling. It's all fun though and I so enjoyed this book!

The idea of sentient food is unique and adds a lot to the story. K. Rose, the author, seamlessly includes ridiculous phrases and innuendo that impresses the reader. Despite the comedy, the story doesn’t lack an actual plot, as readers can relate to their sticky situations and how messy love can get.
If you’re looking for something different, I highly recommend this story. Food can be sexy.

Marshmallow is broke and down on her luck. Then she meets Billionaire, Chocolate in an elevator. One contract, one night, for one million. What could possibly go wrong?

I am so glad that I read the authors note at the beginning before I started reading or my eyebrows would have been raised that high, they would have been in orbit! The Author deliberately compiled a list with the help of her readers of the most cringeworthy words and phrases in romance novels and used them all in this book. The result is a gem of a story that is one of the funniest things I have read for a long time. I laughed from beginning to end so if you are in need of a good giggle, this is a book for you!

I Can’t Unread This!

And I am sooo glad about that! This is one of the most hysterical books I have had the enjoyment of reading! S’mor Love is the first book I have read by K. Rose and I loved every minute of this satire filled story. So much wit and humor in such a sweet and spicy package… There are so many yummy suggestive sweets, I gained a cavity and diabetes all at the same time!

S’more Love is cleverly written with toothsome characters in this melt-in-your-mouth, why-choose romance. This playful, tongue-in-cheek book definitely caught my attention and I adored this tasty morsel that had the most delicious unexpected ending and now I am hungry for S’more!

I think I loved this more than is healthy. Literally short and sweet.
The filthy parts were obviously the high point but the rest of the writing was up there too.
I got through this too fast and I don’t usually read the saucy stuff so I have nothing to replace it with. It’s been two days since i finished and it feels like I’m still in withdrawal.
The sauce was so good and the humour worked perfectly to break up some of the more ahem awkward bits. The ending was certainly unusual even in this context. Holy existentialism!
I need a sequel or something very similar now!

This was a fun read. Definitely different from what I usually read. And in a good way. Marshmallow meets Chocolate in an elevator in their building. I know cliche right? Nothing about this book was really cliche. She signs a contract with Chocolate for one night. She thinks it's going to be just him then in walks Graham and Biscuit, the twins. It turns into a wild time. I couldn't stop laughing at the food related puns and the way they meant them. Overall the book is fun and intriguing. And next time I have a S' more I know I will be remembering this book vividly. Thanks for such a great book

Down on her luck Marshmallow moves to the big city and falls in with sexy billionaire Chocolate and the roguish Graham Cracker twins. What follows is the most cliche, cringe, unhinged smut ever put on (digital) paper. It's amazing.

If you saw the cover and thought "F#ck it, lets do this" you will not be disappointed.

Hilariously sweet

They tell you not to judge a book by its cover, but we all know that after looking at this cover that there was going to be some slight judgment. In the best way possible.

I thought I knew what I was getting into after the description but once I read the Reader Dedication I just knew it was going to be good.

There probably could be a few improvements on the actual story but that’s not why we’re here. The puns, the many different words for scenes and appendages, yes. I wish I could have suggested a few more.

This was probably on the edge of the most bizarre thing I have ever read, but I loved it!

It was delicious and although at times the language was a little to thick for me, the story was excellent and the chemistry was real.

Reading this felt like wading through beautiful chocolate ganache with marshmallows!

It doesn't take itself too seriously and that helps give the nice warm toasted feeling!

I went into this not knowing what to expect but after cracking through the hard shell, I found a warm gooey centre.

Okay this was a punny read that I didn’t know I needed. Marshmallow moves into her new place and meets Chocolate pretty quick and they start a neighbor with benefits kind of relationship. Then enters in Graham and Biscuit and what everyone wants is Marshmallow is be their fluffy squishy sticky goodness in their middle of their sandwich. And things start heating up super fast between them. Feelings and hard talks are in their future. The spice level and this on is Carolina Reaper hot and you won’t want to put it down!

This is the best way to get you out of a reading funk. Why choose satire with food, so many puns and plays on words. This was so funny, I found myself laughing out loud and kicking my feet multiple times!

Marshmallow is a hard working girl, and she meets handsome Chocolate in her building. Little does she know, his friends Graham and Biscuit will be joining in on their one night of fun. Of course, what starts out as a night of fun becomes so much s'more.

Funny, sexy, sweet!

The characters and story were fun and a bit different. A sexy sweet world with lots of puns and plenty of dessert for all. I've read a few books like this that were way too puny and didn't make much sense, but this one was really good and I enjoyed the whole story! Just the right amount of humor and sexy romance, with an actual story plot that fit prefectly and kept it real!

If you are looking for something a little different then this is the book.

When Marshmellow is offered the opportunity to change her life, for the better she has to seriously think about it as it comes with rules. Chocolate has money which oozes out of him. One night is asked with marshmallow but things don't go quite to plan when chocolate's friends are invited. It's a nice quirky read with a difference.

I liked this book. I had never read something like this and while not my absolute favorite it had an interesting premise and the characters were interesting. I got a little lost in the timeline of this story in telling if everything happened in one day or more until it clarified later, but for a different style of writing it was pretty good. If looking for something different but still fun to read I would recommend this book.

10/10 recommend! I absolutely devoured this! I was lucky enough to meet K.Rose at a signing this year and hear her talk about the book. But man oh man I'm obsessed!!! The spice banter characters and inappropriateness is all chefs' kiss! The cringe makes you keep going and i am so here for it. Literally a top read of the year for me. 5 stars easy! You will not be disappointed with this sentient food book seriously

I loved this book so much once I started I couldn't stop. This is definitely one of those books that just make you relax and actually want to read. Amazing for sure.

This was so ridiculous and adorable all at the same time. I love sentient romances so of course I was going to dive right into a Smore themed one. Loved the tension of the push and pull between the characters and I could not get enough of the AI. I really hope that the author does more little books like this in the future. Super sweet and a lil spicy. Loved the group scenes and all the differences in the MMCs.

A very punny book. I think that was the most amount of different, cringy at times & weird names for body parts I’ve read in a single book lol. The elevator AI was funny with her meddling. Only thing: maybe don’t try to picture the characters based on the cover? descriptions of characters in several scenes don’t really go with them being actual foods vs humans but was overall a fun story to read.
