The Commonsense Way
Labor Day in the near future isn't for the workers—it's for the blood. In a brutal corporate showdown, it's kill or be downsized. Capitalism was always a blood sport. Now it has rules and a body count.
This was a series of vivid holiday tales of a darker quality. The authors wove the stories so expertly, I couldn't tell who wrote what. Creepy anthology, and I would definitely read another one by this duo.
Dark Days is a solid anthology with a fun holiday concept. The collection definitely delivers on its dark, moody tone, and a few stories stood out as especially memorable - my fave was St. Patrick's Day. While for ME, some of the entries didn’t quite land with the same impact, the overall experience was well worth the read. A great pick for anyone who enjoys short, shadowy tales that explore holiday darkness.
Thank you to Latrell and Ginny for the ARC copy. I liked the way you both took holiday traditions and turned them into something creepy and unsettling. The St. Patrick’s Day story was my favorite.
