Omg this book!!! Soo I Beta read this for Willow and loved it then but with the changes it's absolutely beautiful 😍
This book is about Aiden and Nova and the refusal to accept their feelings... the DENIAL 🤣🤣
I adore this couple so much!

I don’t even know where to begin with this one because it completely consumed me. From the very first chapter, I was locked into Aiden and Nova’s messy, yearning, tension-filled world — and the mutual pining? Absolutely agonizing in the best way.
This story thrives on repression. Years of buried feelings, stolen glances, and pretending not to want what’s standing right in front of you. Aiden has been hopelessly devoted to his foster sister for so long, and watching him try (and fail) to keep that under control was delicious torture. The jealousy? Unmatched. The mere idea of another guy showing interest in Nova sends him spiraling, and honestly, I lived for it.
Aiden is obsessive, yes — but he’s also unbelievably tender. The quiet ways he shows he cares, the protective streak, the small thoughtful gestures (including making her food just the way she likes it) — it all balances out that intensity. And Nova? She’s far stronger than she gives herself credit for. Beneath her sweetness is resilience shaped by everything she’s endured. Seeing her growth, her healing, and the way she slowly steps into her confidence was incredibly satisfying.

It made me so happy my husband is a biker 🤣 Thank you, Willow for this 5 star book! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ With every book, I say it's my favorite 🤣 I do believe that Aiden and Nova are my favorite, but Hawk and Olivia are still to come.

First of all: Aiden has been in love with his foster sister for YEARS. YEARS. In silence. Suffering. Obsessed.
And Nova? Living her life without the slightest IDEA that he’s basically dying inside every time she breathes near another man.
And when she asks him for help learning how to win over another guy? 👀
He sees the opportunity of his life. 😏Fake dating. “Teach me.”
The chaos officially begins. 🫠
This book thrives on repression. Stolen glances. Absolutely unhinged jealousy.
Aiden spiraling just imagining another man looking at her.
And I’m sorry… but his level of jealousy? Illegally addictive.
Is he obsessive? YES.
But he’s also absurdly caring. The small gestures. 🫠 The way he makes food exactly how she likes it. The constant protection.
He’s the kind of character you know desperately needs therapy… but you still want him to look at you the way he looks at her. 🫣

💗Just when I think I can't love Willow McQuerry’s books anymore, she puts out this absolute gem of a book. All I can say is wow. This book has it all, spice, plot, angst, male whimpering/ yearning (which I mean, holy that is so so hot), I loved it all.
💗I also love the dynamic between Nova and Aiden. The way they get along, Aiden’s continual reverence for Nova was truly a highlight in my book. He treated her with love and patience, even when he thought he was losing her to another man. He treated her with nothing but respect, and honestly, I think this is why I read dark romance: yes, I will get ravished, but I also trust and respect my partner. This book has that. I didn't think it would get better than Ryder and Madison, holy, I was wrong.

I have absolutely loved every book in the Little Sister series so far and Laugh Little Sister was just as amazing! I adore Aiden and Nova’s relationship….their banter and bond that they formed with each other as foster siblings was truly beautiful. Willow is so freaking good at writing a book that gets you hooked and leaves you craving the next story!
Aiden is a hot, tattooed, unhinged golden retriever that has been acting like a playboy while trying to hide his feelings for his is foster sister. His devotion, possessiveness, and obsession towards Nova is next level…no man can talk to her without him going off on them. He’s also a softie, only for Nova, by cooking for her and always holding her thru the thunderstorms. But he still tries to fight his feelings for her thinking that nothing lasts forever until…she asks for him to “teach her”! Nova is a sweet & innocent gamer girl but still has such an inner strength! That motorcycle scene will live rent free in my mind forever❤️🔥 I love how Willow includes different kinds of mental health representation in each book and I definitely could relate to the people pleasing behavior in this one.

I have absolutely loved every book in the Little Sister series so far and Laugh Little Sister was just as amazing! I adore Aiden and Nova’s relationship….their banter and bond that they formed with each other as foster siblings was truly beautiful. Willow is so freaking good at writing a book that gets you hooked and leaves you craving the next story!
Aiden is a hot, tattooed, unhinged golden retriever that has been acting like a playboy while trying to hide his feelings for his is foster sister. His devotion, possessiveness, and obsession towards Nova is next level…no man can talk to her without him going off on them. He’s also a softie, only for Nova, by cooking for her and always holding her thru the thunderstorms. But he still tries to fight his feelings for her thinking that nothing lasts forever until…she asks for him to “teach her”! Nova is a sweet & innocent gamer girl but still has such an inner strength! Surprisingly tender for a dark taboo romance. The MMC is just a love starved cinnamon roll for all his emotionless playboy ways. The fmc is an anxious never-been-anything'ed sunshine and together they tentatively explore a sweet, increasingly passionate, straightforward to everyone but them deep love. They are compassionate with each other even as they fake their way through their half-assed fake relationship rules.
"I love how we fit perfectly together, as if the universe designed us to be just like this. Like you were made to always be mine."
The smut is also deliciously smoldering with both MC's lighting up for praise.
Where the story suffered for me was anything to do with external forces. Everything is so vague from the gang activity the MMC is involved in to the dynamic of their shared past in foster care. I had to look it up, as it turns out it's not a typical gang but a named secret society - but never once is The Exiled named in this book. I was confused by the very vague premise of this "night of no laws" and the casual kidnappings and torture they committed. But the book is listed as a standalone so you really shouldn't have to do any pre-readings to be able to follow along. Due to the secretive vagueness of that whole plot I was utterly disinterested in it. I also felt the story would have benefitted greatly from at least one flashback to their childhood in foster care together. Without it, it was all tell and no show when it came to establishing (however little) any backstory. I also felt that without a sense of their backstory that their taboo relationship was only taboo because they called each other bro/sis. With no actual foundation between them as such (even as fosters) they could've easily (and in my mind were) simply roommates who we're anxious about changing their relationship dynamics.

Yearning/angst was top notch! Loved both his obsessive side and tender side moments 💕🖤 protective side, the small thoughtful gestures (including making her food just the way she likes it) - it all balances out that intensity.
Nova shows such strength. She has a resilience in her.
Seeing her growth, her healing, and the way she slowly steps into her confidence was so absolutely incredibly satisfying.
The "teach me" setup? Chefs kiss. What starts as guidance meant to help Nova catch someone else's attention quickly turns into something far more charged. The tension snaps almost immediately, Their chemistry is electric, the power shifts are addictive, and I love me a man who can whimper and be vulnerable ❤️🔥
Loved the gaming/cosplay so fun! The emotional depth in these characters I was hooked! I’m itching for more from this author! I love her writing style!

This whole series is amazing! Well written, dark and spicy with great characters and interesting storylines. I love how even though the series focuses around the same topics and characters, each book is its own unique story with different characters and both character and relationship development.
The chemistry between Aiden and Nova was amazing and they were so cute together. I loved the whole fake dating idea and the teach me moments, which started out as innocent but got spicier and spicier. And the spice definitely was spicing! The bike scene!! 🫠🔥
There were so many times I related to these characters and wanted to shake them for behaving in ways I myself have done in the past. The people pleasing, not feeling good or worthy enough, feeling like an outsider looking in. Loved how eventually they got the ending they deserved.

Him and Nova are just perfect. Nova is Aiden’s Foster Sister, she’s a gamer girl with a big heart. She’s pretty clueless about everything when it comes to dating, or relationships. Nova is innocence.... So when she asks her foster sibling Aiden, to help teach her how to win the heart of the guy she met online, Brandon. Of course, playboy Aiden says yes.. He secretly adores her, He will do anything for that opportunity, even if that includes fake-dating her. The portrayal of mental health in this story was beautifully written, allowing me to connect with the characters in a deeply realistic manner. Laugh Little Sister is a dark taboo romance and the third book in the Little Sister Series. Just like the previous books in this series, I completely ate every second of this one up! Aiden and Nova had much more of a sweet and cute vibe than the other couples and I loved their dynamic so much. This gave all the tension, banter, jealousy, and playfulness I was hoping for and then some. And the spice was so ridiculously hot 🥵 I cannot wait for Hawk and Olivia’s story next!

I’m a sucker for a fierce protector. Aiden is not just her physical protector, he is watching her emotions, her tics, her mental wellbeing. He knew exactly what to do or when enough was enough. Ugh, I truly enjoyed them so much.

If you’ve read any of Willow’s books before you know what you’re getting yourself into! They are down right filthy, taboo/very forbidden and a lot of fun to read.
Laugh Little Sister is book three in the Little Sister series, all of the books are standalone but I would highly recommend reading them all in order to get the best reading experience.
Book three is Aiden and Nova’s book. Aiden is painfully in love with his foster sister Nova, he has been for years but she has no idea. When inexperienced Nova asks for help on how to attract a guy, Aiden sees a chance to have everything he’s ever wanted, even if it’s only fake.
This book is pretty smutty from the get go (no complaints here) I love the ‘teach me’ trope, and Aiden definitely took his lessons very seriously and chemistry between him and Nova is brilliant, I mean she has him whimpering!
As always Willow manages to add some more serious aspects with good mental health rep and body positivity.

This one was such a fun and chaotic ride.
The whole “fake relationship to make your online crush jealous” trope? I ate it up. And the fact that it’s her adopted brother stepping in to help makes it even more deliciously messy. What starts as a simple plan with his strict seven holy rules quickly spirals… because one by one, he breaks every single one of them. And honestly? Watching that happen was half the fun.
The dynamic between them felt playful, charged, and full of tension. There’s banter, there’s jealousy, and there’s that constant line they pretend they won’t cross… until they absolutely do.
I’ll be honest though, I will never look at a helmet the same way again. If you know, you know. 😅 That scene was wild, unexpected, and definitely memorable.
Overall, it was entertaining, easy to read, and packed with that chaotic energy that keeps you turning pages.

Thank you yet again for another book that I resonate with on a deeper level. Nova really struggles... and I felt it in my chest. The fact that she has to relive her trauma so regularly with thunderstorms hit me harder than it should've. I too have to face trauma regularly with clowns. Seems like such an innocent thing to most. And her panic attacks.... I cant even go there or I'll cry again lol you always seem to write some shït I relate to or see in myself. Not that thats a good thing but its one of the reasons I love your writing. And its a bonus that all your fmc's are plus girlies. I love a thickie 😝

I swear every time a new book comes out in this series I’m like “ohhh he’s my favorite!!” But Aiden definitely might be my FAVORITE favorite, he’s got the sass, he’s obsessed (and it’s sooo stinkin cute), and he whimpers 😈😈 Dear sweet precious Nova didn’t stand a chance and I love it because those two together just had my heart. I swear Willow has a way to make those red flags look REAL GREEN 😈😈 I had to slow myself down reading this book because I didn’t want the story to end. This one is definitely my favorite of the series and you just wanna snatch both Aiden and Nova up and hug them so tight and give them all the love they deserve!! I loved the cameos we got in this one from another couple in a series I love, NGL towards the end I thought I was gonna have a heart attack and bust out crying when something happened but I’m glad everything worked out 💜💜

Well it’s no surprise I just ate this right up like I did with the first two books. I absolutely LOVE Willow’s writing and characters. Despite me not switching from Team Ryder like Willow warned me might happen, I still absolutely adore Aiden and I do see the potential of him potentially making me switch teams. I also really related to Nova so much and love the dynamic between her and Aiden. Willow’s representation of mental health and plus size women is something I’ll never get tired of and this book was no different from the rest! I love this series so much and am excited for the next book as well as reading more about Haze and Indie in Baked and Burnt!

This series has well and truly took over my obsession. Fake dating and foster siblings? Come the fuck on!!!! Aidens thought are everything. He’s soft and sweet and doesn’t wanna be hurt. He breaks his own rules for her. She’s just wanting to be loved and shown how to love. The snippets of other couples and the teasers for upcoming books is what willow does best!

I knew from book 2 Aiden was the one for me, well Nova but you get it.
He is the perfect emo golden retriever shadow and I love him. Nova is this perfect angel baby who deserves the perfect temperature pillow every night. Little does she see that Aiden is the one making sure that pillow is said perfect temp.
This book is filled with “good girl” and “good boy” like what more can you want? Ok maybe some male whimpering? begging? Dirty words? Fake dating? Breaking all the rules for each other? Tab00 foster siblings?

Ahh I’ve been waiting for this book for so long. Ever since I read Cry Little Sister I wanted to read everyone of them and each book I fall in love with each character more. The way Aiden cares for Nova is everything. And would do absolutely anything and everything for her even pretending to be her boyfriend. To teach her new things and even breaking so many of his own rules just to have a taste of her. Did I scream when that spice was spicing hell yes I did and I even got giddy. Aiden and Nova are everything and I can’t wait for the next book.

The way Aiden cares for Nova is everything. And would do absolutely anything and everything for her even pretending to be her boyfriend. To teach her new things and even breaking so many of his own rules just to have a taste of her. Did I scream when that spice was spicing hell yes I did and I even got giddy. Aiden and Nova are everything and I can’t wait for the next book.
Do yourself a favor and go read this series you’ll absolutely love and devour these books.

Have you ever just wanted to grab someone and shake some sense into them? This is how it felt reading how these two ignore the fact that they both "caught feelings" while still going along with the spicy deal they made.
I enjoyed this book so much that I devoured 80% in one sitting(my dog demanded we go to sleep or it would have been 100%!)
I'm so excited to see where the guys plan ends up, and who is really behind the attacks in the 4th book.

Urgh Willow, one word for you; Addictive! I am addicted to you, your writings, your book! I have read all the Little Sister series and I cannot help it! I am obsessed! I have this little obsession for books that have this kind of tropes. Aiden and Nova.. Okay lets talk about them.

This book walks a taboo line that I've learned to expect and love from Willow and the Little Sisters series. I enjoyed watching both characters try to lie to themselves (not well lol) while trying to keep the secret that everyone but the other one already knew. I liked this story line as well, and our guest appearances of other familiar faces from both the series and the world this is set in. I can't wait to read the next story too, because methinks those characters do protest too much when picked at!
