Laugh, little sister, and I’ll rip my heart out for you. Whimper, little sister, and I’ll chase your nightmares away for you. Cry, little sister, and I’ll break their bones for you. Scream, little sister, and I’ll end them all for you. I’ve been in love with you since we were kids, but you never saw me in that way. I don’t blame you, because I don’t even like myself. But you can’t expect me to fake-date you and not hope to make you fall in love with me too.
This is book 3 in the Little Sister series and is a dark romance standalone with a new couple. It's highly recommended you read this series in order for you to follow the main plot that expands in each book. Cry Little Sister is book 1 and can be found on the author's website. Laugh Little Sister ends with a HEA.
This one was a lot sweeter and softer and I did love how down bad Aiden was for Nova and always treated her gently and with care. Though didn’t really seem as taboo since they were merely foster siblings and they didn’t really give us any previous history between them when they were young or how they got close as first foster siblings. Just little mentions here and there of their past, but not enough. They kind of felt like they were only roommates and one had already fallen in love with the other a long time ago lol the background plot was all over the place and a lot of it was missing seeing as you had to read the previous book to fill in the blanks which I didn’t really like even for a interconnected standalone. There were some errors that I’ve noticed that I guess the author didn’t but I don’t really feel like getting too much into it.
But since majority of the book was mainly about Aiden and Nova‘s romance, I did really enjoy it, and I loved reading it. The smut was not only sweet but very hot.
Aiden was DOWN. BAD. Omg he was so obsessed with Nova (rightfully so) and Nova my sweet girl, she was best friends with denial 🤣
This one felt less taboo and not because they were foster siblings. They just felt like best friends living together, and there didn’t seem to really be a sibling bond between them. Plus they were wayyy too affectionate.
Oh and the way this man WHIMPERS, WHINES AND BEGS😫 oh my lord 😮💨
Definitely recommend to anyone in the mood for a spicy taboo romance!!
"He got me to come so hard I saw Jesus, who gave me a thumbs up and booted me back to earth to do it all over again."
“Laugh, little sister, and I’ll rip my heart out for you.”
Laugh Little Sister is Book 3 in the Little Sister Series. While it is a standalone I recommend reading the series in order to have an understanding of some of the characters/events talked about in Laugh Little Sister.
Ok first of all, that top quote above, freakin died over that!! Genius line! I've been rooting for Nova and Aiden since seeing snippets of those two in the last book! They were everything I hoped for!! Loved the fake dating/secretly both in love with each other. The reassurance and care Aiden gave to his pretty girl was freakin swoonworthy!! He knew everything she needed before she did. Nova was quite in tune with her pretty boy as well. Being able to bring him back from his blackouts. The mental health rep/care in this book was phenomenal!! Every book in this series just gets better and better! Did NOT see that twist at the end coming! I'm so happy they got their HEA!
I really enjoyed reading about Nova and Aiden, but the story just felt...off? Empty? I understand this series is compiled of interconnected standalones, but this book felt too reliant on the previous history of the past two books, and not much was really explained or revised for readers. Also, it was really predictable.
Aside from that, the romance was really cute considering it's a 'taboo dark romance'. The spicy scenes were on point, especially *that* bike scene. I wish Nova's storm anxiety was a bit deeper, maybe giving more context and some flashback scenes, but the rep was still good and relatable to see. I adored how down bad Aiden is with Nova, the lengths he'll go for her is goals, especially with taking care of her and seeing her needs before she does.
Overall, not my favourite in the series (I still love Jaxon and Dahlia) but a good read overall, especially for the smut. I'm looking forward to Hawk and Olivia's book!
I hate that I'm rating this so low, I really do 🫣 It just feels like such a let down compared to the first two books. This book was 300ish pages and it could've been more. This was supposed to be an "it's always been you" book and there should've been flashbacks of Aiden taking care of her etc. We got none of that, it seemed very 2 dimensional. I was disappointed.
“That’s where you’re wrong. You’ll be dating me.”
“I’ll be a good boy, I promise.”
“Don’t be shy and call it a thing. Call it what it is. I’m acting as your boyfriend, and you let me kiss and touch you to make another man jealous.”
“And they’ll look good wrapped around my cock,”
“No. I know they do, but you’re mine, or did you already forget that, pretty girl? You want to get fucked from behind? Then I’ll happily do that for you and make you forget other men exist.”
“You’ve always been my type. I wanted you and only you.”
“Then let’s burn together, pretty girl. We’ll make the prettiest flames.”
I’ve been eagerly waiting months to read Laugh Little Sister and finally get Aiden’s & Novas story—and it did not disappoint! From the very first pages, the story pulled me in. I definitely felt for Aiden at times; there were moments I wanted to shake him and say, just open up! but at the same time, the book captures the reality of human emotions perfectly. The story balances humor, heart, and vulnerability in a way that makes it easy to connect with the characters. I can’t wait to read Olivia & Hawks story.
Each book brings a sense of longing need for what’s next to come, where it bleeds within each world like a puzzle piece that’s been missing, and at the same time makes me crave for what’s next…
If you want that aching anticipation mixed with having to be patient while not being… This book is it.
Laugh Little Sister is the third book in the Little Sister series and this one might be my favourite yet. Aiden is a total cutie pie, the golden retriever boy that will no doubt capture your heart... Him and Nova are just perfect. Nova is Aiden’s Foster Sister, she’s a gamer girl with a big heart. She’s pretty clueless about everything when it comes to dating, or relationships. Nova is innocence.... So when she asks her foster sibling Aiden, to help teach her how to win the heart of the guy she met online, Brandon. Of course, playboy Aiden says yes.. He secretly adores her, He will do anything for that opportunity, even if that includes fake-dating her. He sets his boundaries of course, just like he does with all his flings but he quickly finds out that things with Nova are nothing like the others.
The characters in this book really stand out to me, the relationship and the struggles they both endure. They are healing and hurting, and honestly... I was right there with them. The plot is also great and something I refuse to spoil for you. I am highly excited to see how things unfold within the little sister series. We get some more little droplets of what is going to happen or happening from this book but We also have a lot of comfy moments in this book too and honestly it does so much justice to the characters and the healing they go through together is just so so lovely. – I also really loved the fact we gets to see Haze and Indie in this book, which if you didn't know already are characters from Ab Cynthe’s Baked universe. They vibe so well here in the Little Sister universe, they just fit.
Laugh Little Sister releases March 9th and is now up for all your preorder needs. A huge thank you to Willow for letting me ARC read this book. I am down for the long haul! ❤️🙏
”You make me burn for you.” “Then let me burn with you, pretty boy.”
Just when I thought nobody was dethroning Jaxon😩 idk, but Aiden gave me the whimpering and yearning and longing that I eat tf up and his love for Nova who matched his energy in the best way she could was chefs kiss😮💨.
I’m fully ready for Knox because he’s the biggest mystery since book one.
I don’t even know where to begin with this one because it completely consumed me. From the very first chapter, I was locked into Aiden and Nova’s messy, yearning, tension-filled world — and the mutual pining? Absolutely agonizing in the best way.
This story thrives on repression. Years of buried feelings, stolen glances, and pretending not to want what’s standing right in front of you. Aiden has been hopelessly devoted to his foster sister for so long, and watching him try (and fail) to keep that under control was delicious torture. The jealousy? Unmatched. The mere idea of another guy showing interest in Nova sends him spiraling, and honestly, I lived for it.
Aiden is obsessive, yes — but he’s also unbelievably tender. The quiet ways he shows he cares, the protective streak, the small thoughtful gestures (including making her food just the way she likes it) — it all balances out that intensity. And Nova? She’s far stronger than she gives herself credit for. Beneath her sweetness is resilience shaped by everything she’s endured. Seeing her growth, her healing, and the way she slowly steps into her confidence was incredibly satisfying.
And let’s talk about the dynamic. The “teach me” setup? Executed flawlessly. What starts as guidance meant to help Nova catch someone else’s attention quickly turns into something far more charged. The tension snaps almost immediately, and yes — it is very explicit very fast. No slow burn into spice here. The chemistry is electric, the power shifts are addictive, and the male vulnerability (the whimpering!) was chef’s kiss.
I also loved the gaming and cosplay elements woven in. It’s refreshing to see a female lead who unapologetically embraces that world. It added personality and depth to Nova beyond the romance.
Like the previous books in the series, this one blends taboo desire with emotional depth. There’s real exploration of trauma, mental health struggles, body image, and the complicated path toward feeling worthy of love. Definitely check content warnings beforehand.
The fake dating angle, the foster sibling tension, the obsessive internal monologue — it all worked. And those glimpses of other couples plus hints about what’s next? I’m already impatient.
If you’re familiar with Willow’s writing, you know to expect something provocative, boundary-pushing, and wildly entertaining. This installment delivers all of that while still packing an emotional punch.
@author.willow.mcquerry has done it again 🤤🤤 I finished this book within two hours, I could not put it down. It made me so happy my husband is a biker 🤣 Thank you, Willow for this 5 star book! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ With every book, I say it's my favorite 🤣 I do believe that Aiden and Nova are my favorite, but Hawk and Olivia are still to come.
Pretty girl and Pretty boy 🥰😍

One isn't enough. I need more from her. More of her sweet sounds. More of her saying my name. More of her telling me how good I make her feel.

This is definitely a taboo story that leans heavily into the sibling trope. While the characters are not blood related, the sibling terminology is used quite a bit during intimate scenes, so if that trope isn’t for you, this series probably won’t be either.
This is book 3 in the "Little Sister" series, and yes, the previous books follow similar themes. Book 1 features half-siblings, book 2 focuses on step-siblings, and this one follows foster siblings. From what I understand, the upcoming book 4 (Whimper Little Sister) may involve adoptive siblings… though I could be wrong. Either way, the author clearly commits to the theme.
While each book works as a standalone, they are interconnected because the four main MMCs are a tight group of friends. There is also an overarching storyline tying the books together, so it’s definitely more enjoyable to read them in order. You can bet I’m eagerly awaiting book 4.
One fun surprise in this book is a character crossover from another author’s series. Characters from "Burnt" (book 2 in the "Special Brownies" series by AB Cynthe) make an appearance. And yes… that means I’ve now started that series too as Aiden appears in their story. Apparently I’ve fully committed to reading about the “I F**ked My Sister Club” books, as that series is about twins. Review for that one will be coming separately.
This story follows a fake dating setup, where the MMC convinces his foster sister to pretend they’re dating while he “teaches” her things to make the guy she’s crushing on online jealous. I won’t spoil where things go from there, but let’s just say things escalate quickly.
And yes… there is a tentacle dildo + motorcycle + very wild fun scene that definitely had me doing a double take considering if I should go buy a motocycle...
First of all: Aiden has been in love with his foster sister for YEARS. YEARS. In silence. Suffering. Obsessed. And Nova? Living her life without the slightest IDEA that he’s basically dying inside every time she breathes near another man.
And when she asks him for help learning how to win over another guy? 👀 He sees the opportunity of his life. 😏Fake dating. “Teach me.”
The chaos officially begins. 🫠
This book thrives on repression. Stolen glances. Absolutely unhinged jealousy. Aiden spiraling just imagining another man looking at her.
And I’m sorry… but his level of jealousy? Illegally addictive.
Is he obsessive? YES. But he’s also absurdly caring. The small gestures. 🫠 The way he makes food exactly how she likes it. The constant protection.
He’s the kind of character you know desperately needs therapy… but you still want him to look at you the way he looks at her. 🫣
There’s no slow burn leading to the spice. It’s “lessons” that turn very not-innocent very fast. And when I say fast… I mean FAST. 🥵
The chemistry is electric. The power dynamics constantly shift.
And yes — we get male whimpering. We get begging. We get male vulnerability that should be studied. This man is emotionally on his knees. And we are applauding. 👀
The motorcycle scene? 🥵🥵 I am still not okay.
Beneath the taboo and the forbidden tension, there’s real trauma. Mental health. Body image struggles.
The fear of not being enough. People-pleasing to the point of exhaustion. Nova grows so much 🥰 She starts off sweet and insecure, but she slowly finds her strength, her confidence, her presence.
And it’s incredibly satisfying to watch her finally realize she deserves love.
💣 Tropes: ✔ Fake dating ✔ Foster sibling tension ✔ He falls first AND hard ✔ Obsessive internal monologue ✔ “Teach me” ✔ Taboo vibes ✔ Midsize FMC ✔ Mental health representation
And it works. All of it works.
“Laugh, little sister, and I’ll rip my heart out for you.”

💗Just when I think I can't love Willow McQuerry’s books anymore, she puts out this absolute gem of a book. All I can say is wow. This book has it all, spice, plot, angst, male whimpering/ yearning (which I mean, holy that is so so hot), I loved it all.
💗I also love the dynamic between Nova and Aiden. The way they get along, Aiden’s continual reverence for Nova was truly a highlight in my book. He treated her with love and patience, even when he thought he was losing her to another man. He treated her with nothing but respect, and honestly, I think this is why I read dark romance: yes, I will get ravished, but I also trust and respect my partner. This book has that. I didn't think it would get better than Ryder and Madison, holy, I was wrong.
💗A special thank you to Willow for allowing me to be on her street team and entrusting me with this ARC. Honestly, Willow is such a sweetheart. She writes from her soul, and as a people-pleaser myself, I feel this book is very important. People pleasers are usually taken advantage of, but Aiden is a consent king and loves Nova so much that he changed his ways. I love Willow's work, and I will sing her praises until the day I die.
💗Also, do not forget that this release ties into BURNT by AB Cynthe
I have absolutely loved every book in the Little Sister series so far and Laugh Little Sister was just as amazing! I adore Aiden and Nova’s relationship….their banter and bond that they formed with each other as foster siblings was truly beautiful. Willow is so freaking good at writing a book that gets you hooked and leaves you craving the next story!
Aiden is a hot, tattooed, unhinged golden retriever that has been acting like a playboy while trying to hide his feelings for his is foster sister. His devotion, possessiveness, and obsession towards Nova is next level…no man can talk to her without him going off on them. He’s also a softie, only for Nova, by cooking for her and always holding her thru the thunderstorms. But he still tries to fight his feelings for her thinking that nothing lasts forever until…she asks for him to “teach her”! Nova is a sweet & innocent gamer girl but still has such an inner strength! She’s not sure if her crush is into her so she goes to Aiden to ask for help…she wants him to teach her the ins and outs of dating and flirting by fake dating! Soon they both realize that their “fake” relationship is feeling more and more real!
I loved the dynamic between Aiden and Nova….Pretty Boy and his Pretty Girl 🥰They had me cracking up laughing, tearing up and sometimes so frustrated with all the miscommunication! Oh and the spice was so freaking hot! That motorcycle scene will live rent free in my mind forever❤️🔥 I love how Willow includes different kinds of mental health representation in each book and I definitely could relate to the people pleasing behavior in this one.
Overall, I absolutely love this book and I’d definitely recommend to anyone who loves a dark taboo romance! Don’t forget to check the trigger warnings and make sure to read the first two books in the series as well!
Surprisingly tender for a dark taboo romance. The MMC is just a love starved cinnamon roll for all his emotionless playboy ways. The fmc is an anxious never-been-anything'ed sunshine and together they tentatively explore a sweet, increasingly passionate, straightforward to everyone but them deep love. They are compassionate with each other even as they fake their way through their half-assed fake relationship rules.
"I love how we fit perfectly together, as if the universe designed us to be just like this. Like you were made to always be mine."
The smut is also deliciously smoldering with both MC's lighting up for praise.
Where the story suffered for me was anything to do with external forces. Everything is so vague from the gang activity the MMC is involved in to the dynamic of their shared past in foster care. I had to look it up, as it turns out it's not a typical gang but a named secret society - but never once is The Exiled named in this book. I was confused by the very vague premise of this "night of no laws" and the casual kidnappings and torture they committed. But the book is listed as a standalone so you really shouldn't have to do any pre-readings to be able to follow along. Due to the secretive vagueness of that whole plot I was utterly disinterested in it. I also felt the story would have benefitted greatly from at least one flashback to their childhood in foster care together. Without it, it was all tell and no show when it came to establishing (however little) any backstory. I also felt that without a sense of their backstory that their taboo relationship was only taboo because they called each other bro/sis. With no actual foundation between them as such (even as fosters) they could've easily (and in my mind were) simply roommates who we're anxious about changing their relationship dynamics.
I inhaled this! Unhealthy? Maybe! But so freakin good! And addictive!

"Laugh, little sister, and I'll rip my heart out for you!"
"You're so f-ing beautiful like this, Nova. My pink, little goddess taking her brother's c0*k."
"I'll be a good boy, I promise"
I was so consumed! Had me from the first chapter all the way to the end! I couldn’t put it down! Burried feelings. Pretending they don’t have feelings for one another, stolen glances. The yearning 🔥
Aiden has been hopelessly devoted to his foster sister for so long, so obsessed, watching him try (and fail) to keep that under control was delicious torture. ❤️🔥The jealousy. Yearning/angst was top notch! Loved both his obsessive side and tender side moments 💕🖤 protective side, the small thoughtful gestures (including making her food just the way she likes it) - it all balances out that intensity. Nova shows such strength. She has a resilience in her. Seeing her growth, her healing, and the way she slowly steps into her confidence was so absolutely incredibly satisfying. The "teach me" setup? Chefs kiss. What starts as guidance meant to help Nova catch someone else's attention quickly turns into something far more charged. The tension snaps almost immediately, Their chemistry is electric, the power shifts are addictive, and I love me a man who can whimper and be vulnerable ❤️🔥 Loved the gaming/cosplay so fun! The emotional depth in these characters I was hooked! I’m itching for more from this author! I love her writing style! Oh and I loved The fake dating angle, the foster sibling tension, the obsessive internal monologue - it all worked so freakin well. And those glimpses and hints about what's next? I'm already impatient. I’m so ready!!!! I can’t wait!
I knew Laugh Little Sister would deliver, and it absolutely did. I’ve been waiting for Aiden and Nova’s story since Cry Little Sister, and Willow McQuerry gives us the exact kind of aching, forbidden, slow‑burn‑turned‑scorching romance that sticks with you.
Nova has always been the quiet one in real life — sheltered, careful, the girl who keeps her world small. But online? She’s built a following through her cosplay, stepping into bold characters with a confidence she doesn’t always feel off‑camera. Aiden has watched all of it from the sidelines, far too aware of her for his own good, and far too good at pretending he isn’t.
They’ve spent years orbiting each other, pretending their connection is harmless. It never was. When Nova decides she’s ready to take a risk in her personal life, she turns to the one person she trusts most. The one person she shouldn’t. And Aiden, who’s been holding himself together for years, suddenly finds himself standing in the middle of everything he’s tried to avoid.
That’s when the story ignites — emotionally and, yes, very much physically.
Aiden doesn’t do halfway. Every moment between them is charged, sharp with longing, and threaded with a chemistry that’s been simmering for years. The spice is intense, emotional, and absolutely earned; it hits harder because of everything they’ve been holding back.
And Nova… she’s discovering that the spark she’s been chasing might not be new at all. It might be the one that’s been quietly burning beside her this whole time.
Laugh Little Sister is tender, explosive, and beautifully messy. It’s not about shock value — it’s about inevitability. Two people who were always meant to collide finally letting themselves feel it. Aiden and Nova’s story is everything I hoped for: forbidden, emotional, scorching, and unforgettable.
I love and hate every book I read, especially when it comes to this series. I love a good taboo weird sibling trope !!! Idk why!!! But for some reason this series really cringes me out at times, but it also makes me OBSESSED with the MMCs. The FMCs on the other hand, always feel like “I’m so scared and vulnerable and can’t do anything I need the MMC to save me and take care of me like im a fucking child”
YAWN YUCK BORING
But the way she writes the MMCs is too good!!!!!!!! 🥹🥹🤭🤭😮💨😮💨😮💨
Jaxon, Ryder, and now Aiden are my fav biker book boys at the moment. I can’t wait for Hawks story 🤭
Now on to what I disliked .. sometimes I think this author likes to write about bikers and drugs but she’s never even seen them in real life. The way she describes vaping from a man’s perspective is too fucking funny.
“ I drag a lungful of sweet vapor from my disposable vape and blow it out in an aggressive cloud while I wait for Hawk to answer.”
Like I’m sorry what MAN or PERSON would say that?? 😭😂
And then the weird unhinged lines that were hilarious but also like wtf ?
“Sniffing her panties and feeding her cumster strudels aren't the only things I'll do to feel close to her.”
AND WE CANT FORGET
“He leans back on his heels to give me a better view of the underside of his dick, and my jaw drops. Black letters in my handwriting spell out my name, starting from the tip all the way to the base in a vertical tattoo”
He got her name on his SHAFT?!! 😭😂 how dare they mention that without saying who did it, and was he hard the whole time ?
Yeah so overall it had its cringe moments, the FMCs are all around cringe but otherwise I loved the MMCs and their drama.
The Brandon trope was very obvious from the jump though LOL suddenly her new friend is asking all these questions and then suddenly all this drama is happening ? Hmmm I wonder 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Amazing dark taboo romance with tropes like fake dating, he falls first and hard, male whimpering & begging, midsize FMC and mental health rep. 3rd book in the Little Sister series.
This whole series is amazing! Well written, dark and spicy with great characters and interesting storylines. I love how even though the series focuses around the same topics and characters, each book is its own unique story with different characters and both character and relationship development.
The chemistry between Aiden and Nova was amazing and they were so cute together. I loved the whole fake dating idea and the teach me moments, which started out as innocent but got spicier and spicier. And the spice definitely was spicing! The bike scene!! 🫠🔥
There were so many times I related to these characters and wanted to shake them for behaving in ways I myself have done in the past. The people pleasing, not feeling good or worthy enough, feeling like an outsider looking in. Loved how eventually they got the ending they deserved.
Loved seeing Haze, Indi and Felix from Ab. Cynthe’s Special Brownies series.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
“Why catch feelings for someone when they’ll end up hurting and leaving me? So I hurt and leave first.” “Horrible things to you? Would you call spending the rest of the day with your boyfriend’s head between your thighs horrible?” “Does this feel like a lie to you?” “So what do you plan on doing, then? Fondling me in front of the mirror until I accept that I’m pretty?” “Laugh, little sister, and I’ll rip my heart out for you.”
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
I loved every book in the Little Sister series, especially Laugh Little Sister! Aiden and Nova’s relationship was beautiful, full of banter, and their bond is amazing. Willow writes hooks that leave you craving more and I'll be adding all of her catalog to my TBR.
Aiden, a hot, tattooed playboy, hides his feelings for Nova for so long and he finally has a chance to live out his dream with her. His devotion, possessiveness, and obsession are intense—he'll defend her fiercely. Yet he’s a softie, cooking for her and comforting her when her anxiety hits. He fights his feelings until she asks him to “teach her.” Nova, a sweet gamer girl with inner strength, seeks Aiden’s help to learn about dating through fake dating. Their relationship soon feels more real and lines get blurred 🤣🤣 if you know what I mean.
Their dynamic—Pretty Boy and Pretty Girl—had me laughing, and also frustrated by miscommunication, plus their inner dialogue about their feelings was pissing me off too; in my head, I'm screaming “just go for it, damn” 🤣. The spice scene was unforgettable. I love how Willow includes mental health themes, which I relate to because mental health matters.
Overall, I love this book and recommend it for taboo fans, to me it wasn’t really a dark romance. As always please check trigger warnings.
“Laugh, little sister, and I’ll rip my heart out for you.” Aiden being secretly in love with Nova for years while convincing himself he doesn’t deserve her? Painfully good. Growing up as foster siblings, they latched onto each other early and built an incredibly close bond. From the start you can see how much Aiden cares through a thousand small actions, even while pushing his feelings down and convincing himself she deserves better than him. Meanwhile Nova has absolutely no idea. So when she asks for his help getting another guy and he suggests fake dating instead… things escalate fast. Watching their relationship shift from “pretend” to something very real while they both try to deny it was so satisfying. And the spice? 🥵 Aiden breaks every rule he set for himself when it comes to her. The tension, the begging, the vulnerability it adds so much to their dynamic. There’s also a bit of a “teach me” trope since Nova has no experience, which makes their intimacy feel even more personal and emotional. I also really appreciated how respectfully the story handles Nova’s PTSD and Aiden’s trauma-driven people-pleasing. It adds real depth to both characters and their relationship. Emotional, messy, intense, and full of heart. I loved these two.
Holy macaroons. This was an incredible read. I am ✨obsessed✨ with Aiden and Nova. Another book for the one-handed-read shelf 🥵
This is book three in the 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 and Willow did not disappoint. Another book filled with plot, taboo and spice. Nova is keen to understand the ropes of dating but doesn’t know where to start. Who better to teach her than her (foster) brother, Aiden?
I’m still reeling from this book because I absolutely fell ✨hard✨ for both characters. The portrayal of mental health in this story was beautifully written, allowing me to connect with the characters in a deeply realistic manner. Aiden and Nova face their own mental health challenges for different reasons.
And the smut? You only need one hand. The rest will be…otherwise engaged. If you love the taboo spice, “teach me” scenes and exploring together, you’ll love this. Toys? ✔️ Public? ✔️ Spiiiiiicy? ✔️

𝟱✨✨✨✨✨ Never in my wildest dreams did i think me just making a funny little comment because it popped into my head… would become an actual club. it’s literally the best thing ever. i can’t even believe me being funny saying “it’s a like club… i fck my sister club.” an now it’s official club. i love it more than anything. I love the Aiden & Haze crossover. literally could not love them any more. also, FELIX popping up?! i love it. I know Hawk and Olivia are next and i’m so excited for them the last official couple in the club. in all seriousness, I have been obsessed with this series since the second i read Cry Little Sister. As each book is added to the series, i fall in love with it even more. Aiden and Nova were so fucking cute and so precious. oh my heart… i just loved them. Willow, thank you for creating such an amazing series. one that i’m absolutely obsessed with. 🥹🩷
Laugh Little Sister is a dark taboo romance and the third book in the Little Sister Series. Just like the previous books in this series, I completely ate every second of this one up! Aiden and Nova had much more of a sweet and cute vibe than the other couples and I loved their dynamic so much. This gave all the tension, banter, jealousy, and playfulness I was hoping for and then some. And the spice was so ridiculously hot 🥵 I cannot wait for Hawk and Olivia’s story next!
🏍️Fake dating 🩷”Teach me how to kiss" 🏍️Tab00 (foster siblings) 🩷He falls first and HARD 🏍️Midsize FMC 🩷Male whimpering & begging 🏍️He's obsessed with her 🩷Mental health rep (PTSD & people pleasing from trauma) 🏍️Blackout rage from protecting her 🩷Tummy worship
Aiden will do literally anything for Nova. And of course when she has a problem or questions herself, he is jumping right in to make sure she does not worry or doubt herself.
Nova, I really loved her as the FMC! I loved her attitude, her sense of humor, the way she also helped Aiden when he needed it. She really came out of her shell in the lessons she was learning.
I’m a sucker for a fierce protector. Aiden is not just her physical protector, he is watching her emotions, her tics, her mental wellbeing. He knew exactly what to do or when enough was enough. Ugh, I truly enjoyed them so much.
Willow McQuerry never disappoints, and this book proved it again. I’m honestly the biggest fan of her writing, and every time I read one of her books I fall in love with her stories even more. This book had me completely hooked. The storyline was so engaging and addictive that I couldn’t stop reading. I loved both the FMC and MMC so much their chemistry was intense and their dynamic was just chef’s kiss. And Aiden… oh my god. He is a playboy who’s terrified of commitment, but at the same time he’s completely obsessed with his foster sister Nova. That tension made everything even more interesting and addictive to read. The spicy scenes were absolutely phenomenal. They literally left me speechless and overwhelmed. Some scenes were so intense that I was screaming while reading especially the taking pictures scene. It was just that good. If you love dark romance and intense chemistry between characters, you definitely need to read this book. But make sure to read Cry Little Sister and Scream Little Sister first since this is part of the series. Overall, this book was incredible and I loved every second of it.
