"Pondering: A Story in Cinquains" is a beautifully illustrated poetry book for children!!! I'm in love with the artwork in this book!!! Dao Thuy Linh is a extremely talented illustrator!!! The authors Daniel Brewer and Paul Paolilli created such a magical story using a cinquain poetry format. It was a fun surprise to have some fun facts about ecosystems, ponds, and cinquains at the end of the story too!!!
This is overall such a lovely and informative book!!! I adore the fact that this book teaches children the elegance and beauty of nature!!! Children and adults alike will be inspired to visit a pond, since this book shows how fun visiting a pond could be!!! It also serves as a child appropriate introduction to importance of nature conservation!!! This book teaches us the importance of doing our part to protect and admire our marvelous planet that we call home!!!
Long story short, if you are looking for a sweet, fun, and informative book for your children then look no further!!! This book is a perfect introduction into the world of potery and the beauty of the outdoors!!! Children and adults alike will fall in love with the illustrations and the sweet little story about a group of friends going on an adventure together to visit a pond!!!
