Decent book about container plantings, but keep in mind this is all decorative plantings. Interesting information, I never thought to see if I could plant trees in a planter, they show some really tall trees in really shallow containers, and you'd think it's something that would fall over, but they have shallow roots so it works. Good looking plantings, it goes over things like the types of plants, colors, materials that would help set things off, and all done by season to be sure you're yard/porch/patio looks nice year round. Also a good coffee table book, this does have some really pretty pictures of the examples. It does go into detail on some of the plants, not all, but enough to give you an idea of what to expect in terms of how to plant and care for things. Pretty interesting, I'm going to give some of these a try.
