Here is Anna Wineheart's latest: "Guarded by His Alpha Wolf." It's the fourth novel in her new series, Babies for Broken Dads (which is a spin-off series from her Closet Baby Chronicles series...which is also a spin-off series).

I loved this book. They fell in love (and lust) soooo fast, it was so intimate and fate-y and perfect. You keep forgetting they juuust met. The drama and the danger escalate so fast, but so does the affection and the feelings. And then you forget that they juuust met again. Because that's how hard and deep they fell for each other, how perfect they were for each other.
I'm not sure if Crush's pack (and little brother) will continue to add more books to this series or not, but I'm here for it.
Trigger Warnings: past kidnapping/captivity, past torture briefly described (including attempts at suffocation), coerced murder, past burn injury, violence, and more.
This is a cute love story between Crush and Killian. Crush is the wolf shifter who was one of the rescuers to save the omegas and their babies from kidnappers. Killian and his baby, Naddie, were one of the omegas saved.
Crush had always wanted a family, and this desire had intensified since his fellow rescuers had started their own families. That was why, after Crush and his friends raided the human trafficking building, he met Killian and immediately liked him. Killian was shaken by the chaos which brought on, flashbacks of the time he managed to escape the horrible, terrifying Alpha that had trained him to kill. He could still feel that sniper’s scope pointed at him, terrified that he would be shot. He was forced to kill, or his baby would be harmed.
Crush, in his wolf form, padded slowly over the Killian and lay down beside him. He never looked at Killian but was a calm presence. Killian felt safe with the big wolf.
It was months later that the two met again, under dire circumstances. Killian and his omega friend were being pursued by the men he had escaped. He had no idea how they had found him. But Crush was there to rescue with both omegas pushing them into his car. Crush drove fast to escape them, but they seemed to know where they were whenever they thought they had outrun them.
Crush managed to lose them long enough to drop the other omega off at the safe house, taking Killian with him to his haven, where he thought they would be safe. But the kidnappers found them.
I could go on about how everything worked out, but really, read the book. Wineheart’s book is exciting and fun to read. I’m always happy with Anna Wineheart’s books. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Killian's past catches up to him when he's least expecting it on way home from grocery run. He ends up with Crush and they are in car chase. Of course there humor too especially with Killian not able to sensor what comes out his mouth which I found my self unable stop laughing for good five minutes during that scene.
They drop off the friend at safe place that was with Killian when started and Crush takes him to cabin for hiding out. I really enjoyed their chemistry and romance. Sex hot as always. We got Crush and Killian's back stories which are dark. Killian not a helpless person either because the past where was forced do things he knows how protect himself.
His daughter Naddie is adorable especially her hybrid shifter genes. The first half took place.in couple days which I kept forgetting but was so good. Can't wait for the next one.
Killian has the worst case of foot in mouth disease and I think that Anna Wineheart must have had the best time writing his dialogue. I had a fun time reading it and I kept giggling my way through the whole book. There is a little bit of serious stuff, but mostly it’s the usual fun and hijinks that is typical of an Anna Wineheart book. There are the usual funny Butler brothers great pickup lines, but this one goes to new heights with Killian’s stream of consciousness. Ms Wineheart is very careful to never make any of it nasty or a put down though. Crush is the usual protective Alpha, but the omega wins in this book. I love how accepting everyone is about the verbal diarrhea and I wish I had more people in my life who were ok when I had the same problem.
Hearing Crush's backstory was heartbreaking, but in the present he's a godsend to Killian. Can a rabbit and wolf safely become mates??? Crush is so ga ga over Killian, that it's ridiculously cute. There are some sweet moments like Killian meeting Crush's pack and being accepted. And the sublimely hilarious moments like the dildos falling out in front of the whole pack!! Lol..But if you still question loyalty and love, feast your eyes on the battle with Blue and see how it all goes down. The rest of the story is icing on the cake- beautiful fluffy icing piled high as only Anna can bring it. Fall in love all over again!!!!
I loved Guarded by His Alpha Wolf by Anna Wineheart. I loved Crush and Killian's story. I loved the pickup lines and how Killian has no filter on what comes out of his mouth. I laughed so much. I also loved that Killian was trained as an assassin. I didn't love how he was trained but it made him formidable but it didn't make him cruel. He was sweet and kind and still worried about people not liking him. I loved the nest that Crush made for him and how Crush treated him as an equal. I hated Killian's parents. I loved Crush's pack and family. And Crush's butler was the best!
This is a cute and sexy read. I enjoyed getting to see Crush and Killian find their way. It is a bit heavy on the heat but it is still a fun read. I adore both Killian and Crush, each man is strong in his own way and together they make a great team. They work well in and out of the bedroom and their banter made for an engaging read. Not only do the main characters have a lot to say but many of the supporting characters shine as well.
This new one is now my favorite - the foot to mouth disease is hilarious!!!! the words & whole sentences he lets escape are seriously awesome even over the chat group texts!!!! I don't anything is more perfect you'll laugh your conjonies throughout the book!!!!! Thank you so much my sides ache - Lori
Killian is sweet rabbit shifter who has a baby, Naddie. He met Crush previously when a group of the omegas and babies were rescued. Now his past has caught up with him but luckily, Crush is there once again to rescue them. While they're dealing with some heavy issues, Killian and his lack of filter had me howling with laughter throughout. I loved how these two fought for each other and helped each other heal as well.
I just love these books Anna has written. They keep you intrigued and makes you laugh out loud. Each omega has a special story and they have included many of the past omegas which is always a treat. If you haven’t read her series make sure to stay at beginning because that way you’ll know more of the characters.
Anna Wineheart has a knack for blending humor, drama, , and so much more. This story quickly drew me in and kept me turning the pages. The characters are intriguing, I enjoyed getting to follow along on their journey to each other.
I laughed, I cringed, and I had to wipe my eyes at the foot-in-mouth Killian! He was hilarious. Just when you thought he couldn’t say anything worse, he topped it. I had so much fun reading this book, even when his traumatic past was chasing him.
I feel a bit mean only giving this 3 stars. I love the premise of rescued Omegas with babies finding their Alphas but to be honest the amount of sex is just too much and also although cute Killian's mouth got too much.
I enjoy this author's writing as it always includes shenanigans and laugh out loud moments. It was nice seeing the MCs connect and get to know each other better. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
When Killian is threatened and has to flee for his life, he comes across Crush and finds in him a protector. As they spend time together and learn about each other they build a relationship as they evade danger.
A story full of laughs, alpha/ omega dynamics and dildos that make an appearance at the most inappropriate times.
Killian may be one of my favourite characters from Anna, with a constant case of literally saying anything that comes to mind.. no matter how bizarre or sexy! It's a good thing that Crush finds it so amusing, because the moment he saves him from a kidnapping Killian cannot stop talking. Through a car chase, sexy times, and slightly more intense attacks. It always lightens the mood and makes you like Killian even more. Crush's alpha wolf knows who Killian is to him and he would do anything to keep both Killian and his daughter, Naddie, safe. There is an instant connection on both sides and it's a very fast paced story, in every aspect. There is no holding back, and there's always Wonder Cart and Hansel, Crush's butler, to pick up childcare duties. What makes this story more serious is the kidnapping and abuse that Killian lived through as a teen and made him into the capable gin handler and fighter he is today. He continues to be chased but he now has a child to think of, and Crush becomes his safe space. Despite the sometimes serious moments throughout the story, you can't help but smile for most with the things that Killian says and the fun that they have together. It's another great addition to the series and I cannot wait to hear more on Uriel and Bruiser!! I received an ARC and am happily giving a review
