Solid book on working capital's basics.
"The newer view is that working capital is undesirable in that it constitutes a drag on financial performance. Current assets that do not contribute to return on equity (ROE) hinder the performance of the company, and may hide obsolete inventory that may not be salable and receivables that may not be collectible".
