And bang, just like that Maddie Wade is back!! Bringing us yet another phenomenal read with so much depth and emotion it’ll knock the wind out of you and leave you begging for more!!!
Maddie Wade is my unicorn author so forgive me if I seem a bit biased but honestly, there is literally no limit on this wonderful woman’s talent. Whatever she writes is pure gold and so addictive it’s just impossible to put the pages down.
This compelling story starts off with my book husband Jack Granger which, let’s face it, means the book is gonna be epic. I love this magical world Maddie has created, born from Eidolon and absolutely unforgettable.
I’ve waited forever for Watchdog’s story and let me assure you that it didn’t disappoint in any way. Jonas is a beautifully broken character. He’s been put through the worst atrocities any human can endure and he survived, his body mended, but his mind wasn’t. And for that alone I wanted to reach through the pages of this beautiful book and tell him, over and over, that he was so much more than his past.
This is one heck of a strong man who is doing the best he can to get though each day, his found daily giving him reason after reason each day to get out of bed and for that my heart bled for his pain.
Watching him fall hard and fast for Clara was beautiful to watch. She didn’t see the persona he put forward to everyone, she saw beneath the mask to the man proving his nightmare every day and for that alone I loved her character.
Watching Jonas work seamlessly alongside his found family was synchronicity at its best. These past characters had his back, their support silently running in the background, ready to jump forward with all their arsenal at the slightest need.
Watching this beautiful man open up to Clara and understand that he was worthy of everyone he’d ever dreamed of was so beautifully compelling and heartfelt.
Clara is a strong and resilient character. She’s not afraid to stand up for herself because I think she’s come to realise that if she doesn’t do it no one else will, barring her best friend who I’m pretty sure would go to the ends of the earth for her.
Watching her taking in her surrounding and adjusting her actions, the way she didn’t snap to judgement was so amazing to watch. Most people who had been put in her situation would have freaked out, but Clara took it all in stride because she realised that she had Jonas’s strength and the support of everyone else behind her.
My heart bled for the family dynamic she had been subjected to and manipulated by, but in true kickass style Clara handled it with a will of steel and a determination to help her friends bring justice to the world.
Watching Jonas and Clara together was so heart achingly beautiful. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their bond instant, strong and true. Each fulfilling a need in the other they hadn’t even realised was there.
Maddie Wade has truly outdone herself yet again. This beautiful soul and uber talented author brings nothing but her all to each and every aspect of the worlds she creates for us.
This is a book that has a depth that will leave you breathless. A love that will make your heart skip a beat and a storyline that will knock you on your backside.

Watchdog finally sheds the heavy cape of shame he has worn since his capture and torture, Shadow rescued him but he has not been the same man. He was a weak imitation of his former self, hiding behind his screens, trying to blend, to make himself smaller as he watched, collected information and plotted revenge. But he forgot the most important thing - the team, the family that has claimed him as one of their own, they will not stand by and let him act alone....but they will have his back...always.
Watchdog has finally found the reason he needs to reclaim his former persona and to take down those who took him, those who stole from him, those who tried to break him. Clara helps him see the shame he has been carrying is theirs not his, something his team have not been able to do. But he realises that saving Clara is far more important than keeping his cover, his need for revenge though, is multiplied when he realises that Clara has been wrapped in the same poisonous vines by those who took him, she is a target, a victim and a potential scapegoat....not on his watch!
It is awesome to see Watchdog back and fighting, his experiences are devastating, and he has carried them alone for so long, until now. I love him and Clara together, and I really love that he finally accepts the help of the team, finally acknowledges that accepting that help does not make him weak, it makes him smart, and as a team....they are unbeatable!
What a finale to the Shadow Elite series, I have loved every book, every crossover with Eidolon and Fortis.

When Clara becomes entangled in a dangerous game, Jonas will have to break his own rules, betray his team, and face truths he’s long avoided to protect her. The connection between Jonas and Clara feels earned, tender, and deeply human. There is a lot of romantic tension and great suspense!

This is one explosive ending to the Shadow Elite series by Maddie Wade that brings into the play some well-known and loved characters from her series of Eidolon Black Ops and Fortis Security that made us fall in love with her writing on the first place! Maddie is one of those writers that are on my one click list … the universe she has created keeps pulling us back in.
Stalking Salvation finally!!! gives us Watchdog aka Jonas Mason’s story. He has been hiding long enough behind his screens, it was THE TIME for him to emerge from the Shadows and find his rightful place in this family that he has been part of … it was time to leave behind the shame and pain he had been living with since he was captured and tortured in South Africa.
It was also time for Clare Sutton, the museum archivist who is engaged to MI5 operative, to find her true partner and the found family that came along with him. The connection between her and Jonas feel real, human, something to aspire for and it is something that will last … hopefully for ever!
I am sad that this is the final book of the series but I am sure Maddie will not leave us adrift and the ones who have found her just now, you have found a treasure trove – go and read her Eidolon Black Ops and Fortis Security series and obviously also the preceding 9 books of this series! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Stalking Salvation Shadow Elite book 10 has been the most anticipated book in the series for most of us as we waited patiently for Jonas Mason Aka Watchdogs Book. This book is absolutely phenomenal and heartbreaking all in one book. we know that Watchdog was kidnapped and found, but he didn't come back like himself and that had everyone in Shadow Elite worried, but now he is out for redemption and payback,but will it cost him his place in the group? when watchdog goes rogue and follows the paper trail he sees Clara Sutton and when he kidnapped her to protect her will the group help them finish his mission? This book will definitely have you enthralled and sitting on the edge of your seat while holding on to tissues as his story unfolds . Its compelling and action packed and suspenseful and heartbreaking and so much more. I couldn't put this book down and had to reread it ,twice because, I have been waiting for his story. I literally cried with his coming out and telling his story but those tears turned into pure joy for him in the end.This is one book thats a must read. congratulations Maddie Wade on Such a phenomenal book.

Such a moving and emotional read, I loved Clara for Jonas, she was so gentle with his heart. Caring, understanding and protective. But she was also strong, dealing with all the hits that kept coming her way. Jonas is still traumatised, dealing with flashbacks and nightmares. Working on ways to deal with all, but while diving into names connected something else has shown up. Now he will do everything, risk everything to protect an innocent woman from becoming collateral damage in twisted men's dreams of ruling their empire. The Team, family are all in, determined to help and support, to not let Jonas sink but lift him up and Clara fits in so quickly that it's like it's meant to be. There is action, suspense and all a reader expects from this type of read but it's about so much more, the growth and development of the characters and the relationship that builds, the trust and love they give each other. It's a marvellous addition to this series.

Stalking Salvation is the best in the Shadow Elite series to date. What has haunted Watchdog (Jonas) since South Africa is starting to come into the light and with Clara Sutton’s help, he might be able to conquer the trauma he was left with. I love that all of the Shadow Elite had surrounded and guarded Jonas while he dealt with the pain. There is an attraction between Watchdog and Clara when he discovers she is somehow entangled in Oliver’s machinations, her family’s pushing her to marry Oliver, and the trail leading to Hansen has not ended. This wonderful story refers to each Shadow Elite operatives own trials and events so I believe you need to follow the series in order… (a super reading experience to follow along in Oliver’s and Clara’s frightening story as it unfolds. I really believe this is the best book Maddie has written in the Shadow Elite series and hope the series will continue! Bravo Maddie, best book in the series to date, loved so much I am starting back at the beginning!

Loved this. I've been waiting for Watchdog's book for ages and this author did not disappoint.
This was about Clara, a wealthy heiress who was escaping an arranged marriage and Computer hacker Watchdog aka Jonas Mason Abducts her before trouble comes.
After everything Watchdog's been through, he has scars that he needs to get through but Clara is the one bright spot he needs. They have an instant rapport and with both being odd personalities that makes them hit it off. They sure have that connection and each have issues they are navigating, but realise they can lean on each other.
So well written. Watchdog is a deep wonderful character and melds so well written Clara. Full of danger, suspense and intense moments. Such an intense but satisfying read with a great dose of team spirit. So great!!

If you are a fan of the Shadow Elite books or indeed Maddie Wade, you will not be disappointed with this book. Watchdog and Clara the main characters within this storyline, with many team members dipping into the plot helping to solve the problems and deal with traumas, emotions whilst giving support as a team.
Watchdog is an unexpected protector for Clara considering the things he’s been through that have not been dealt with. Clara is an heiress who is on the run from an arranged marriage with danger and suspense at her heals. Watchdog had been kidnapped and is still dealing with the aftermath and Clara is sacrificing herself for her family. Their journey is heartfelt, devastating secrets are shared, the team work hard trying to find out who has done what and why and to what end. Both characters learn from each other, become strong and resilient but how this ends will leave you the reader shocked but happy. A

OMG, we finally get Watchdog’s book here in Stalking Salvation, book 10 of the Shadow Elite Series by Maddie Wade!
Determined to get justice, Watchdog goes out on his own to track down each man that held him hostage and nearly broken him, but he was doing it on his own. He felt that this battle was his and his alone, but he quickly found out that his team will not let his face this alone.
Watching Watchdog fight his way back to finding himself and seeing the love his team has for him was just what we expected from him and Maddie! This was a great story to give us the best of Watchdog and the Shadow Elite team as they work together to help not only Watchdog but Clara too, the woman who gave him a reason to keep fighting!

I have missed this series. I had read every book in the series, and I'm so attached to the character that it's like coming home again. It broke my heart in the other book when Watchdog was taken and knowing he endured so much. We finally get to get his point view and watch him work through all the trauma he survived. It was well worth the wait, and it really was an emotional read for me. While the emotions were palatable so was the ability to take back the power and healing. Watching Watchdog become vulnerable with Clara and vice a versa was perfection. I loved that they both had little quirks that helped them understand each other better. Of course, you get action and suspense, but it was so much more! Don't hesitate to read this series!

His team extracts both Watchdog and Clara and as their helicopter was lifting off she realizes it’s her fiancé and other men shooting at them.
The situation brings his past to the surface and somehow her fiancé is involved and he needs to get tho the bottom of it.

Another great book in this series, a slow burn where you really get to understand ‘Watchdog’ Jonas as he gets to learn how to believe in the family around him and heal from past trauma.
Falling for Clara as he protects her from the people who actually should be protecting her! Clara doesn’t realise the danger she is in from those closest to her, she is in denial for a long time, needing proof of the deception around her - something only Jonas can do. Together they learn to trust and heal.
I also enjoyed seeing what is happening with the other characters in this series. It can be read as a standalone, but probably better with some of the back stories.

I absolutely loved reading Stalking Salvation .
I've been waiting for Watchdog's story . Jonas Mason barely survived the South African mission still being haunted by his trauma . Jonas is the Watchdog. He went through a kidnapping and has not been the same. Clara i am sacrificing myself for my family. I dont wamt to but I am. One night changes it all. Clara amd Jonas begin a journey that is filled with secrets but will forge the bonds of family. Sometimes love starts with safety. They both learn that family is not always blood but sometimes forged in fire. So , take a trip with Shadow Elite. Familiar faces will be seen as we cheer on Jonas and Clara on their search for HEA. Maddie does it again. You will not be disappointed.

What I liked about Jonas was that he was not an OTT hero. While he was definitely of the possessive and passionate natured, but he was more of a hurt animal seeking to find solace and their way. He knew that Clara was his match, and really had to work hard to allow himself the time to heal and to recover from his previous capture. Clara's own troubles forced him to realize that being human, needing help, and accepting circumstances beyond the control are not grievous mistakes, but part of surviving.

I always enjoy the books in this series! The characters are like one big giant, peace-keeping family.
This installment is Watchdog's story, one I've been waiting to read! He'd suffered some trauma in a previous book and we get a little bit more insight into how that affected him.
This book centers around Clara. I mean, he's kind of obsessed with her. He was watching her, discovered she was in trouble and he rescued her - all without his team knowing she even existed.
However, it didn't take long for everyone to understand his actions. Afterall, they all fell completely for their own someones, even when it didn't make sense to them at the time.
The relationship Clara and Watchdog had was sweet! They had a great chemistry, they were kind of adorable together.

Is it stalking if the person is doing it for your safety. Well Clara’s going to need convinced it’s not.
This is Jonas’s story and it is very emotional. I loved Clara and Jonas as a couple. She had the right amount of maturity without being overbearing to get him to understand he was more than he thinks.

I think we have all been anxiously waiting for Watchdog's story ( Jonas Mason) It did not disappoint! Clara was a match made in heaven for Watchdog, they both had so many scars and She saved him as much as he saved her. This story was emotional and exciting and I can not recommend it enough it was so great to be back with the Shadow Elite all the familar names, It had suspense and also HEA. I say great work Maddie Wade!

I expected a fast paced, exhilarating, bang of a book, but this was not that kind of book from Maddie Wade. This was more a book of healing. And that is not necessarily a bad thing. This book in my opinion was about Jonas dealing with what happened to him in South Africa and him not seeing that whatever he went through made him the weakest link on the team. In the end Clara helped him seeing his worth and with the help of his team he got closure.

This is another story I’ve been waiting on. Actually I’ve been on the edge of my seat to read about Watchdog. I just knew his story would be epic! It has the action packed & everything you want in a fantastic read. You can usually tell from the beginning if you have a good one that’ll keep you reading nonstop & if you interrupted, it’s on you mind until you can finish it!!

I really enjoyed Watchdog's story. It's interesting to see how he thinks and what makes him tick. It is heartbreaking to see Watchdog struggle not only with his mother's illness, but also his traumas from the kidnapping and beatings. Clara is suited perfectly for Watchdog if he can admit he has feelings for her. She's fiercely loyal, brave, and smart. In his search to find those behind his kidnapping he kidnaps Clara to keep her safe

Stalking Salvation was well worth the wait. I’m so glad that Maddie Wade continued this series. Watchdog has some deep emotional baggage. His family of operatives is there for him. Then he finds Clara. He wasn’t supposed to fall for her, but he did. She gets him and fits in well with the group. Maddie wade always writes excellent romantic suspense. This one was full of the feels too. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next story.

Stolen Salvation is book #10 in the Shadow Elite Series and it’s the best addition yet! Jonas and Clara’s story is full of emotions, intensity, secrets, action, and suspense. It flows flawlessly, well written, and the character and story development is top notch. I truly loved Jonas and Clara, they were perfect together. Loved it and highly recommend.

I’ve been waiting for this book and it didn’t disappoint.
It’s emotional and tackles some hard subjects which Maddie wasn’t afraid to do.
Loved the combination of Jonas and Clara, their interactions, Clara’s acceptance of Jonas and his own demons.
It did feel like a great link to the next episode of the bigger story, and I can’t wait to see how that pans out.

Trauma, tension, and teamwork
Ms Wade has done it again! All the tension, buildup and angst were nail-biting. The trauma broke my heart, but the way team handled it put it back together again. Hope there are more Shadow Elite books coming!
