Ravaged is the second book in the Mate For The Alien Master series written by Ada Storm.

Harper is stuck. Stuck in this terrible apartment working a not so great job all because of her ex. It was a good relationship until it wasn’t. Then she took him back and then it really wasn’t great. Now she has her apartment, job, and her books to get her through. These books that she’s reading now help her escape to her fantasy of him, the alien from another planet. What would that be like? Would things be better for her if that was her life instead? Will she get out of the situation she’s in and make a better life for herself?
This is the second novella of the series. I do find that I like the twisty way that this is written. The story is written in a way that pulls you in wanting to see what will happen next. The romance part of the story, like the first, is dark and may not be for everyone. You really should read these in order as it seems they build off of each other, even though the main characters are different. I’m looking forward to see who’s story will be written next.

Reading before bed can give you lots of ideas, but Avery's books can include hulking alien hotness! Harper finds out that dreams with Quinn can be quite addictive. I am so hooked on this series! I've devoured the first two and practically panting for the third!.
