Bloody Mary (Urban Legend)

Rate this book
Halloween finally arrived and it was Mary's sixteenth birthday. Mary's parent's finally decided she was old enough to have a sleep over at their house. After, Mary's party was over Mary and her two friends played some board games until midnight. Mary said "It's midnight and since its Halloween why don't we go in the bathroom and turn off the light and play "Bloody Mary.”

Kim said "That sounds like more fun than playing board games all night."

Kathy replied "Nothing ever happens when people play the Bloody Mary game, but since were all three going to play why not, it's Halloween and what a perfect time to play Bloody Mary."

Mary, Kathy and Kim went inside the bathroom and closed the door and turned out the light.
Mary said "Instead of one person saying "I hate you Bloody Mary three times. Why don't we all say it together?"
Everyone agreed and they all stood in front of the mirror and said "Bloody Mary" three times, but nothing happened. Kathy said "This is a stupid legend that isn't even true." Then all of a sudden a bright red Illumine Essence color was shining through the mirror. Mary and her friends were starting to get a little scared.
Kim chimed in and said "I think we need to leave this room immediately."

Free and worth every penny

I had previously read some of Drac Von Stoller's stories but was not impressed. However this story is free and, according to the description, all of Von Stroller's stories have been newly edited.

Sorry Mr. or Ms Von Stroller, I am still unimpressed. Reviewer RRM said that this was like reading an article from Wikipedia. I concur.

I have heard this legend countless times in various scenarios, each one completely different. I really liked this one. The more I read of Drac Von Stroller's stories, the more I like them.

This story is perfect for campouts, sleepovers, etc.

Bloody Mary!

I’m too chicken to say it three times!

Well, as you can probably guess, teenagers are having a sleepover, on Halloween, no less, and they decide to do the Bloody Mary thing.

It's just a normal scenario about Bloody Mary. It's not even scary at all.

This has got to be one of the best short stories by Drac Von Stoller that I have read. Yes, I only gave it three stars. That should be enough to understand. If not, go ahead and read a few more. They're free. I do love urban legends, but I would expect more from a creative author than just putting names to the characters and repeating the same story we've heard before. In Bloody Mary, Von Stoller did use some creative license, though I can't say the same for some of the other urban legends he has "written".

Typical.

Do not waste your time on this book its a typical story even a kid could have made it up in his mind. It just says if u try bloody Mary you die.
I would strongly not recommend this book to anyone

The Urban Lives

Bloody Mary is a retelling of the urban legend with a slight twist.

While it was entertaining and brought up past memories of campfires and story telling it is just the tale of Bloody Mary in this book.

My review can be found at Amazon. I will copy and paste it here later Basically it's warning to not do something you shouldn't or meddle in something you know nothing about.
