Rate this book
Have you ever wished for an older sister who could answer your questions and authentically share her own failures and successes as a wife and mother?

Life comes fast and hard in today's culture of influencers, social media, and artificial enticements. Women can easily find themselves overwhelmed and underprepared for real life roles, relationships, and responsibilities.

Angela Burtis is convinced that God knows a woman's heart and what she needs to know in order to the knowledge is in His foolproof system in the Bible and the strength found in our daily relationship with our Creator.

Self-described as one who is "well-mentored," Angela draws on lessons she learned from older women along the way and the principles taught in Scripture. The Bible encourages the "olders" to teach the "youngers" as they grow in faith and in their roles as woman, wife, and mother. In this book learn more husband and children wellGrowing in purity, kindness, and submissionShowing hospitality and welcomeCreating a stable homeBeing a steward of the amazing life entrusted to youExperience the joy of choosing God's extraordinary standards over a culture that is often damaging to women and their well-being. This advice has been lived out in Angela's own family. I enjoyed the premise of this book based on Titus 2- an “older”woman passing on what she has learned to youngers. Its intended audience is younger wives and moms written in a causal conversation tone. I loved hearing Angela’s wisdom and passion for Christ and disciplining women! Some of my takeaways include:
-My husband isn’t my savior, Jesus is
-Enjoy my children
-Take self control seriously
-Put off social media consumption
