She’s a full-on curvy ray of sunshine, with a sharp tongue. He's a grumpy builder built like a rugby player, broad, tattooed and rough around the edges.
★Shannon★ I hate blind dates; in fact, I hate going on dates full stop. It doesn’t help that the men I’ve been paired with in the past have been…boring. Yet here I am again, a sucker for punishment, because my new blind date is already twenty minutes late. I should ask the waiter to cork my wine and call it a night. When he walks in. Mr Grey Shirt. And he's older, built like a rugby player, tall, rugged, with tattoos wrapping around his arms. Thighs that make my mouth water and my lady parts purr. Dark hair I want to thread my fingers through. A beard I want to feel between my…well, that'd be telling but rhymes with kegs and hopefully ends in O’s He looks like a broody lumberjack, and I instantly want him in my garden chopping wood…Shirtless. He’s nothing like I imagined. No…he’s so much better. He’s all muscle, rough around the edges, the kind of man built to ruin girls like me. Challenge accepted. And everything’s going well. Until it’s not. I end up throwing red wine over his head.
★Wesley★ Three years without a woman. Even longer since I went on a date. I’m better at laying bricks and scanning blueprints than making small talk. Then a mate I’ve since lost touch with sets me up on a blind date I didn’t want to go on. Eventually, I walk in. She’s gorgeous. Long dark hair, curves I can’t look away from, wrapped in a blue dress, looking like an absolute knockout. We were getting on great…until she called me a tosser and covered me in half a glass of bargain basement house red, then left. I’m surprised when, a year later, she walks into my local, looking better than ever. But things have since changed, I’m a certified A-hole, and I like to go about my day without being bothered. Turns out fate has other plans and keeps throwing us together. But it gets worse. Because now... she’s my new neighbour. I never close my curtains, never had to. She gets more than a room with a view. But I’m not on her list of favourite people. She keeps teasing me with those full curves of hers.
If you love broody grumps and curvy girl romances with sunshine personalities, and an MMC with a dirty mouth. Open door scenes with more steam than a boiling kettle, then you’re in for a treat.
I’ll be honest that I wasn't sure even a fictional British construction worker could be hot but Lisa somehow convinced me otherwise. Wesley was charming, a bit grumpy, and way too easy to fall for.
Shannon’s inner dialogue had me laughing from the start, she was chaotic and fun! There’s some miscommunication but it’s handled so well that I didn’t even mind the trope this time. Also it gets very steamy, so maybe don’t read this one in public
I’m definitely hoping Tristan gets his own story next
Thank you to Lisa Looms and BookBuzzPR for the ARC! ❤️
Sigh. I wish straight romance authors understood that it’s possible to write a romance without having the MMC’s inner dialogue sound like a porn video the moment he meets the girl.
This book was 340+ pages of sexual thoughts and fantasy. I’m not against smut and I do occasionally love a good smutty romance but this was wayyy too much. I don’t think we’ve read about either main characters thinking about the other without centering their thoughts around sex and sexual attraction—we get it! You’re into each other. We get it, you keep masturbating to each other. We also get it, you’ve seen his dick, no need to tell your mother(?!) about it.
Aside from sexual attraction, there’s genuinely NOTHING that links our main characters together and makes them a good pairing. Even the mundane task of putting together a bed frame turns into him finding her vibrator and wondering if it smells like her?! There is no development, there is no tension, all they do is thirst about one another constantly from page 1.
And don’t get me started on the whole “the ex wife is the devil incarnate” plot because I don’t have enough patience to get into that.
This was a cute fun read. I haven’t read many books with being the location in Britain, I always remember when I do pick one up why I find them so fun. Falling into the world in a different location gives me the perfect escape I look for when reading.
Getting to fall into Wesley and Shannon (Shan) story was fun and new. Their begging meet up is the epitome of an epically (horrendous) blind date for the books. Imagine everything horrible and make it 10times worse.
They then proceeded to be mad at each other for the same thing, arguing the same thing but assuming the other ment something else 🤣🤣 it was one head shaking of a ride with these two. But I had fun and enjoy it. And I mean go can you NOT fall for the over six foot tall, broad, muscular, hot as sin construction worker who walks around his house in nothing but a towel 😉😜😜😜 he could throw me around any day!
Under Construction started off fun and genuinely made me laugh a few times, but as I kept reading, things just didn’t click for me. Shannon was pretty consistent throughout, but she also came off a bit over the top and honestly kind of annoying at times. Wesley’s sudden change of heart toward her didn’t feel natural or earned either. The chemistry was there, sure, but the emotional connection just wasn’t — it all felt a little forced.
The writing also wasn’t really my style. It was super wordy, and I found myself skimming a lot to get to the good stuff. Some of the sentence structure felt awkward too, which kept pulling me out of the story.
Not the worst book I’ve read, but it just wasn’t for me — ended up being a DNF.
“She’s a full-on curvy ray of sunshine, with a sharp tongue. He’s a grumpy builder built like a rugby player—broad, tattooed, and rough around the edges.” I thought, Yes. Okay. Let’s do this.
What surprised me right from the get go? A builder… attractive… tall… and British? Pardon? I’m sorry, but that’s not exactly what we’ve come to expect of UK construction workers. Yet somehow, Lisa made it work! Other than his name, though - I just couldn’t quite connect “Wesley” with “attractive.” I apologise to all the Wesleys out there - I’m sure you’re very lovely people - but my brain just can’t process it. Please don’t take offence; it’s a me thing, not a you thing!
I really enjoyed the way Lisa used the FMC’s inner dialogue. Shannon, you had me laughing from the start. She was chaotic, she was fun, and she truly was a curvy ray of sunshine. On the flip side, Wesley was your typical grumpy, frowny MMC - disastrous dates, stubbornness, and unromantic sparks flying. Say no more. From a first date gone wrong to becoming unlikely next-door neighbours, you know you’re in for a ride. I mean - blind date, ‘ex’-wife shows up… one year passes… bumps into him again, tells him the ugly truth exactly as she feels it… applies for a job that just so happens to be at his company… and then moves house, only to find out who her new next-door neighbour is? Well. While on the outside they can’t stand each other, the chemistry tells a very different story.
As fun and enjoyable as it was watching the fallout from all this - and seeing the character development and their relationship grow - there were a few parts that didn’t flow as naturally as they could have. Their connection and chemistry sometimes left me second-guessing: was it genuine emotion or a little bit forced? Maybe it was how his character was written; I’m not entirely sure.
That said, it didn’t take away from the overall story. Watching how they constantly showed up for and supported each other helped smooth over those little niggles. Unlike our MCs, I managed to not hold a grudge!
Shannon’s confidence and Wesley’s unwavering instinct to protect and care - despite many a protest - really brought their inner selves to light. Both of them were looking for healing, for peace, and, more importantly, for fun.
This book has it all: forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers, slow-burn tension, laugh-out-loud banter, and it’s British! What can I say, Lisa, you did us proud. If you’re here for grumpy/sunshine energy, humour, messy warmth, and drunken eBay purchases involving a plane fuselage and perhaps you’re also a little bit broken, this is the read for you!
Thank you so much to Lisa Looms and BookBuzzPR for sending me a copy to read and review.
I devoured this book in one sitting, and I am still recovering from the emotional whiplash. If you love enemies-to-lovers with sizzling tension, epic banter, and a miscommunication that makes you want to scream into a pillow, this book is your next obsession.
Shannon and Wesley are pure chaos together. She’s sunshine, strawberries and sarcasm; he’s tattoos, frowns and thunderclouds. Their first blind date? A disaster. Their second meeting? Even worse. And when they end up as neighbors? Let’s just say the sparks fly, and not the romantic kind. At first. But this only lends to the best kind of slow-burn obsession that makes your heart race.
Wesley is obsessed with Shannon from the start, even when he’s pretending to hate her. And Shannon is terrified to fall for someone who sees past her walls. Their chemistry is explosive, but it’s the emotional payoff, the raw, messy, beautiful journey to love that made me cry, laugh, and scream “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER” into my Kindle.
What truly made this story shine was how they showed up for each other. Wesley supported Shannon’s dreams without hesitation; he protected her, believed in her, and made her feel like she was more than enough. And Shannon, in turn, stood fiercely by him when his past came knocking. She didn’t flinch when his ex-wife stirred up old wounds; she defended him, grounded him, and reminded him of his worth. Together, they created a space where they both felt valued, safe, and seen. It wasn’t just love, it was healing.
This book isn’t just spicy, it’s soulful. Beneath the banter and sexual tension is a story full of emotional depth that hit me right in the chest. Shannon and Wesley don’t just fight, they feel. Every miscommunication, every guarded moment, every slow unraveling of trust is layered with vulnerability that makes their enemies-to-lovers journey that much more meaningful.
Wesley and Shannon didn’t just fall for each other, they built something unshakable from the rubble of their pasts. If you’re craving a romance that’s messy, magnetic, and full of heart, Under Construction will leave you wrecked in the best way.
A huge thank you to Lisa Looks and BookBuzz PR for the early copy!
Thank you Lisa Looms for providing this ARC of Under Construction in exchange for a review.
I’m not gonna lie, it’s a rare day I look at a builder in the UK and think phwoar (they usually look like my dad or they’re about 19, and I like my men older...not always wiser, with that bit of salt-and-pepper hair that comes with age). But Wesley, with the rugby build and tattoos? Yeah… the fantasy of being pinned against the cabin wall on a construction site has officially made it to the daydream shortlist.
This was a super quick read for me, one of those “I’ll just read one more chapter” books that somehow turns into finishing it in one sitting. Shannon is absolutely my kind of chaos. She’s confident, funny, and deeply aware of her worth. Also, anyone who drunkenly buys a plane off eBay? Soulmate behaviour. Her parents were an unexpected delight too, supportive, loving, and not the usual romance background filler.
Wesley, bless him, needed to find his words. The man can build a house but apparently can’t construct a sentence about boundaries. His inability to communicate with his ex-wife caused a lot of unnecessary drama that could’ve been avoided with one phone call (or, you know, a decent solicitor).
Tropes wise, this one hits all the right notes: forced proximity, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine… basically a full bingo card of my favourite dynamics. It’s funny, steamy in all the right places, and just the right kind of messy.
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 @𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗯𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗽𝗿, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗥𝗖! 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟭𝘀𝘁, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. I know Lisa from the Episode interactive app, so I was excited to learn she was venturing into novels. This was an entertaining debut. Enemies to lovers plus forced proximity is one of the best trope pairs, if not THE best. Shannon was ballsy, and I loved her confidence and the ability to stand up for herself. I could tell she was not the kind of girl to play it safe, which is something she even admitted; she wanted some excitement in her life, and was keen on a little rough and tumble. I was worried Wesley would be a jerk, and while he wasn’t a bed of roses, he didn’t turn me off. It was clear he was still attracted to Shannon. He was hot and cold as the shift from enemies to lovers began, but then once he and Shannon became more solid, his motivations were clearer. I liked watching their relationship progress. The formatting made it a tiny bit confusing to figure out who was speaking, but this isn’t the final version. Some scenes were rushed, and there were also some Britishisms I didn’t understand, but nothing a google search couldn’t clear up. Other than that, like I said, it was entertaining. Good luck, Lisa! Can’t wait to see what else you have in store in the future.
TW: cheating ex, forced kiss, brief mention of fatal heart attack, brief mention of alcoholism, financial abuse
Wesley really is the grumpy MMC in this spicy rom com and Shannon is the perfect curvy ray of sunshine he didn't even realise he needed.
When a blind date between the pair goes disastrously wrong and they part ways, neither of them ever expect to clap eyes on each other again...
Fast forward to a year or so later and who becomes Wesley's new neighbour but none other than Shannon! What ensues is a whole lot of simmering tensions, angry exchanges and miscommunication, but ultimately, Wesley cannot stay away.
I was laughing one minute at this feuding but adorable pair, and the next, I was hooked on Wesley and his oh so dirty mouth. A dirty mouth to die for! I love it when the MMC dishes out orders in the bedroom and Wesley dishes a whole lot out in this spicy novel! Shannon however loves to push back and I loved that back and forth between them as well as the funny banter mixed in with some really emotional moments that certainly pulled on my heart strings.
Wesley has been hurt badly before and when he finally opens himself up to Shannon, the pay off is more than worth it. And how Shannon stands up for her man? Absolutely loved it! I was jumping and punching the air at that point!
If you want a rough and ready builder who talks dirty, loves with all his heart, and a Feisty FMC with a smart mouth, then read this book. You will not be disappointed!
4 ⭐️ 3 🌶️ Forced proximity ✔️ Enemies to lovers ✔️ Grumpy to sunshine ✔️ This book was really good! Fmc & Mmc go on a blind date that mutual friends set up but when Mmc has a past that is unresolved he is determined to not let that get in his way of loving all of her. But it ends with wine being dumped on Mmc head and Fmc getting the heck out of there! But when fmc (Shannon) parents surprise her with a birthday a gift that wasn’t expected- Mmc(Wesley) & Shannon will be spending a lot more time together then Shannon hoped for after their blind date did not go so well a year ago!
Shannon is a true firecracker, she doesn’t take ish from anyone. She is curvy, fierce and purchases on impulse.. & maybe some liquid courage 😂 But when Wesley wants to make her dreams a reality his unfinished business from the past comes knocking to throw a wrench in his plans.
Wesley the boss of a construction company - so handsome it hurts, Shannon finds herself wondering why he has been single for over 3 years. But she can’t seem to keep her eyes off him. His family left him the property and cottages on the land, but when his past comes knocking he will do anything to make it disappear.
The tension is 🔥 - the bad boy turns softy 🥵 Curvy feisty girl allows her walls to come down - 😈😉
"'You make me feel so much, Shannon,' he whispers."
Enemies to lovers CHECK Age gap CHECK Forced proximity CHECK Grumpy x Sunshine CHECK Everything I could want in a contemporary romance CHECK
I had such a fun time reading this book. After a disastrous blind date a year before reuniting, Shannon and Wesley become neighbors and each other's dream. It was instant chemistry when they first met and when they were reunited. Shannon sticks up for herself, not letting Wesley get any closer than necessary, believing he was a cheater. But when their miscommunication was cleared up, they couldn't resist each other anymore.
I absolutely adored Shannon. She was such a bright light and brought Wesley back to life. And Mr. Wesley Park, where can I find you IRL??? He is the perfect gentleman, always caring for Shannon, and never wants to let her go.
The banter between the two from chapter one to the end was impeccable and had me giggling to myself at times. While the miscommunication trope is present, it didn't annoy me as much as other books that have that trope. I think it didn't bother me as much because it came from a place of caring and being stuck in a hard place.
Thank you to Lisa Looms and BookBuzzPR for this eARC!

This book was everything!! I loved the plus size FMC and brute MMC.
Shan and Wesley went on a bad blind date together and started as enemies not realizing it may have been all a misunderstanding.
Fast forward they are forced to be neighbors. The banter was freaking hilarious. Both of the characters were so stubborn and slightly broken in their own way.
I love the development of both characters and their chemistry and banter was everything.
The spice?? Oh the spice was SPICY. Wes’s mouth? Pure unfiltered filth and it was absolute perfection. The spicy scenes were HOT! This is a must read and I’m so happy I was able to arc read this. I’ve been following Lisa since she wrote with episode and her debut novel is amazing! I can’t wait for you all to fall in love with this couple🍓❤️
An enemies to lovers romance with Shannon “a full on curvy ray of sunshine with a sharp tongue” and Wesley “a grumpy builder built like a rugby player, broad, tattooed and rough around the edges.”
This was a lighthearted, funny rom com. Quick and easy to read and a great palette cleanser if you’ve just read something heavy.
Shannon was funny and very relatable. I’m always excited for a curvy FMC and she was not afraid to show off her body. She also puts my impulse buying to shame. Wesley did annoy me a little. If he just learnt how to communicate it would’ve been a whole lot easier. I enjoyed the characters smutty internal dialogue. It always made me chuckle. There was a whole lot of lust simmering in the pages. Talia and Tristan were good side characters too. I want a bestie who camps out in my empty house and brings alcohol for me.
Overall this was 4 stars for me. I would recommend to anyone looking for an ememies to lovers romance, with a curvy FMC, grumpy x sunshine and medium spice.
Shannon - Miss Independent who doesn't need a man, just wants a man - goes on a blind date with Wesley - not so freshly divorced, still dealing with the ex-wife from hell (or Satan as his friend likes to call her) - and it couldn’t have gone any worse than it did.
A year later, they’re neighbours 😂 What could go wrong?.. or right? 😏
I loved the banter and the inner monologues - I love UK lingos lmao some people might be absolutely confused by those. I was literally laughing out loud at some parts. I got STRESSED OUT near the end but thank God it was a HEA & the spice was spicy 🥵
My only minor complaint was just the dialogue sometimes switched between characters in the same line. I got used to it, but it might be a little jarring for others.
Thank you Lisa Looms and Book Buzz PR for this ARC of Under Construction!
This story was super cute! A super cute meet cute/blind date that starts off great but then is sabotaged by the MMCs ex-wife. Fast forward a year and these two MCs can’t stop running into each other! But it’s more than just running into each other the FMC ends up moving in next door to him!
A true enemies to lovers story ensues. The MMC Wesley is frustrated with himself because of how much he wants the FMC Shannon but she wants nothing todo with him!
Once they give in to their desires and smooth out the past, these two are adorably perfect for each other! Plus Wesley is so down bad for Shannon it should be illegal.
They both fall fast and hard, but of course there is a bump in the road with some miscommunication(ish) maybe more like no communication thrown in…
Tropes: 🍓Curvy FMC 🦺Age Gap 🍓Blind Date 🦺Enemies to Lovers 🍓He Falls First 🦺Vengeful Ex-Wife
Shannon came across as childish. When she was thinking she was “done with dating” etc, I was picturing a woman maybe in her 40s. But no. I get younger folk can get bored of dating too, that isn’t exclusive to those over the hill, but it felt like a stretch.
The “worst blind date” could have been resolved if Wes just told Shannon it was his ex, and is Shannon’s immediate reaction hadn’t been to chuck wine at him, and to immediately block the friend who set them up?!
That’s on top of the fact he’d left her waiting for 20mins because he wanted to watch her from outside. I’m sorry, but without a text or a damn good apology, it wouldn’t have mattered that his ex showed up.
Shannon apparently grew up in this countryside small town but doesn’t recognise a bull?
As someone from the UK, I felt the Britishisms were pretty much shoehorned into every sentence.
Then there’s the spice.
I’m sorry it’s not a higher score, I was really hopeful.

They met on a blind date. It didn’t go well. Until…
Shannon hasn’t had the best luck with blind dates. She’s finally living on her own, ready to start her glamping passion project, and try one last blind date. She’s expecting to meet another dud, but in walks Wesley. Tall, broad, older, and HOT, with baggage that Shannon wants no part of. But when she later meets her new neighbor, guess who it is?
Once they reconcile, the chemistry between them is insane! The writing is so well done, the spice was spicing, and the mouth on that man is WOW. I’m a big fan of a strong FMC and Shannon has no problem speaking her mind, both in her defense and Wesley’s.
The side characters are great, and I can already tell the next book (if there is one) is going to be 🔥! This was my first book by Lisa and I’ll definitely read more!
🍓 Grumpy/sunshine 🔨 Forced proximity 🍓 Enemies to lovers 🔨 He falls first 🍓 Plus sized FMC 🔨 Age gap
I really enjoyed this one! The writing style is easy to read and flows nicely, making it an enjoyable and light read. I really liked the main characters, Shannon and Wesley—they have such sweet chemistry together and are genuinely adorable as a couple.
I especially felt for Wesley. His ex is truly awful, and you can’t help but sympathize with how much he’s been taken advantage of. It was lovely seeing how kind he is, especially with his workers. His caring personality really shines through.
The story definitely picked up once Shannon and Wesley finally got together, and from that point I was fully invested. The side characters were also great—Declan and Ashley in particular definitely need their own book! I would absolutely read their story next.
Thank you to the author for the ARC—this is my honest review. 💛
I think this was just not for me. It started off good it had me chuckling a bit but as the book progressed I had a hard time connecting with Wesley and Shannon. I found Shannon some what annoying and childish, I just didn't enjoy her as a FMC. All the drama with Wesley's ex could've been fixed if Wesley knew how to put a sentence together. Like dude you're an adult learn how to communicate! How do you have a business and not know how to advocate for yourself! Anyway, it wasn't all bad there were a few good moments, like her buying a plane on eBay when she was drunk. I found that funny but ultimately I just couldn't connect with it.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
God! What to even say about this book! I love a good second chance romance.
Shannon and Wesley learn to not always judge a book by its cover. After begrudgingly finding their way back to each other, Shan and Wesley fall in love with not only each other, but the life they have built together.
You see so much love in this book. Shan and Wesley, Shan and her best friend, Shan and her parents, Wesley and Shan’s parents, etc. I love all of the love.
I can’t wait to read the next book!

Their first meeting was a complete disaster, and when life keeps theowing them together a year later the banter is totally on point. The first half of the book was great, but when they finally manage to resolve their miscommunication I felt like they went from hate to I love you, way too quickly. I liked that their age gap was never truly mentioned, and I wish there was a bit more talking about her being on the curvier side.
first time reading the author but the writing was really on point, would have worked a bit more on the plot but I wish there will be sequels as many side characters were very promising
Worst blind date ever? Try having his wife show up 😬 A year later, Shannon runs into Wesley again, tells him exactly what she thinks… then accidentally applies for a job at his company. Oh, and guess who just moved in next door? 👀 They can’t stand each other — but the chemistry says otherwise 🔥
This book had me laughing, swooning, and totally obsessed! It’s funny, British, and full of heart — and don’t even get me started on Wesley 🥵. Shannon is the strong, confident bestie we all need, and that ending? Perfection. 😍
👩🦰 Curvy FMC 👷♂️ Builder MMC 🔥 Enemies to Lovers ☀️ Grumpy x Sunshine 🏡 Boy Next Door 🚪 Forced Proximity 💘 He Falls First 🗣️ Dirty Mouth MMC 🌶️ Very Spicy
From a first meeting disaster to being neighbours, this book was so entertaining.
I loved the plot of this book, which was easy to follow and had many enjoyable moments between the two main characters. Wesley was a grump, while Shannon was his complete opposite, but she didn't mind giving him a piece of her mind. The banter was top-notch, and I enjoyed how they worked through their issues. The chemistry between the two main characters was amazing, and I loved the connection formed between them and how they built on their relationship.
Shannon is on her last nerve with blind dates but goes on one last attempt. She meets Wesley and is immediately attracted and taken with him. Until she is told he is married. Wesley’s ex sabotages his one chance at a date. He decides to give up. Until fate has Shanon thrown back into his life . Maybe she is worth the chance.
Shannon is a hot mess express just like a like a relatable FMC.
ARC Review Book: Under Construction Author: Lisa Looms ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Shannon and Wesley had a meet cute a year ago that was sabotaged by his ex-wife. Now Shannon thinks that he is a cheater and does not want anything to do with him.
However, they keep running into each other. Until they find out they are neighbors and can’t stop thinking of each other.
This was a really good book, I enjoyed Shannon and Wesley’s story. I loved how protective of each other they were and how they finally got the HEA that they deserved.
This review is based on an ARC provided to me by the author; all opinions are my own.
Shannon and Wesley's story - hilarious Brit rom-com! After a disastrous blind date, they think they're done with each other...except they're not. The miscommunication is done hilariously well with angry snipping that had me laughing like crazy. The banter, the forced proximity, the grumpy construction worker falling for the sunshine curvy heroine - this was such a fun, quick read.
What a cute story..grumpy versus sunshine at its best. I enjoyed the chemistry between Shannon and Wesley. It was fun seeing them connecting and their relationship grow. Shannon is a no-nonsense lady while Wesley is more reserved. I loved the banter throughout the story! This book has its spicy moments for sure. But, it has also has so much “heart” to it. Overall, Under Construction was a fun enemies to lovers with forced proximity story.
🏗 Under Construction completely stole my heart (and a bit of sleep). The grumpy x sunshine chemistry was perfection, the age gap was written so naturally, and the forced proximity kept the tension high. And Wesley? That man and his dirty mouth 🥵 absolutely unputdownable. I was still flipping pages at 2am, totally invested in their story. If you love smart banter, heartfelt moments, and a MMC who knows exactly what to say (and how to say it), this one’s for you 😍
Hahaha, I giggled and ooooh'd and aaahhhh'd my way through this book. Shannon and Wesley are just too cute. the poor guy was just so out of touch with the whole dating thing. I read this book in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter, the characters were so much fun. this book was sweet, and funny, and romantic in the best way.
3.5⭐3🌶️ ARC E-book Dual POV First Person Shannon and Wesley For those who love the miscommunication troupe. Shan is chaotic fun, esp her inner monologue. You could feel their attraction right away, and all throughout, but they also really cared about each other and were very supportive. I did find it odd how often the MMC would say the FMC's name.
