I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. (via the author)

The ending of this series was action packed! I did feel we got to see Mira grow more as she discovered more about herself and the world around her. I think things came together nicely for a satisfying ending.

Thank you to the author for sending me an early copy of this book.

4.25 stars rounded down. This was my favorite of the trilogy. I loved Mira’s character development and how everything wrapped up. The ending completely took me by surprise. I think it’s the best ending that could have happened since I don’t think another ending would have been as satisfactory. I think the only thing that kept me from a 5 star was because we find out some information about Mira that I think should have happened in the second book instead of waiting this long. I think it would have helped her growth more so in that case. But overall I had a great time with this series and would definitely read more from this author.

In this epic conclusion, the final card has been played and Mira faces higher stakes than ever. It’s time to face judgment as the fate of the kingdom and their magic are in her hands.

I loved this book so much. The whole series is a wild ride and I’m obsessed with Mira Bael. I’m happy with how it ended but I already miss our main characters.

What I loved:
Mira goes through a lot of growth in this series. As she comes into her power she faces the truth and makes the hardest choice she’s ever had to make.

This is it. The end of the journey. The Keeper’s Card brings the Fairytale Tarot series to a close… and the big question is: does Mira get her happy ending?

I’m not telling. You’re going to have to read and find out.

What I will say is this, the ending is perfectly imperfect. It might not be the ending everyone wants, but it is absolutely the ending this story needed. And honestly, I respect that so much.

As always, Erin Archer delivers with her writing. It’s engaging, emotional, and so easy to fall into. The characters continue to shine, and what I really appreciated is that there is still growth happening, even this late in the series. They don’t just arrive fully formed, they keep evolving right up until the very last page, which made everything feel more real and earned.

At this point, the world building is already well established, so there isn’t anything new being introduced, but it doesn’t need it. The foundation has been laid, and this book focuses on bringing everything together. And just like the earlier books, there are still a few twists that caught me off guard.

The reason this lands at 4 stars for me is the same as the previous books, pacing. It’s not bad by any means, but there are a few moments that felt a little rushed, where I found myself wishing we had just a bit more time to sit in certain scenes. Not many, but enough to notice.

That said, I truly loved this series. And now that it’s complete? You have absolutely no excuse not to binge the entire thing.

Another amazing addition, and perfect conclusion, for the Fairytale Tarot series. This book was full of plot twists, secrets, and a whole lot of character development/growth.

Mira struggles with her desperate need for power and the need to sacrifice that power to save the people she cares about. She navigates through learning about herself, righting the wrongs in the relationships of her friends and family, and trying not to lose herself in the shadows that the evil Queen Roma left behind.

This book is, as expected, seamless, added into the world; there isn’t a gap in time from one book to the next, and the personalities of the characters don’t shift after a gap between writing. This book focuses more on tidying up loose ends, revealing secrets, and character growth needed for the finale of the story, so the pacing may seem a little faster than previous books, but it doesn’t take away from the story or characters.

The Keeper’s Card neatly tied the plot together, leaving me feeling satisfied with its conclusion. I would love for this story to continue, maybe as a prequel with Mira’s mom, or even a continuation from the POV of some of the side characters like Liam, Princess Dulci, or Ari. There is so much room to grow this world, and no one could tell it better than Erin. She brought to life a world of magic we’ve never seen before with unique characters, and just a sprinkle of fairytale retelling that keeps you reading up at night.
.
Thank you for giving us such a wonderful world to visit over and over again, and I’m sure we will!

This is the third and final of the Fairytale Tarot series. To be honest, it was my least favorite of the series…but it was still an enjoyable read. Mira finds out something that is a game changer but in true Mira fashion, she is dragged into acting on it, kicking and screaming. Don’t get me wrong, she’s grown a lot. And, in the end, she makes some tough decisions that impact everyone around her–that’s growth. And that ending…..I promise you won’t expect it to end the way it does.

Bael wasn’t as prominent in this book but we did get a little more depth on Ambrose. Mira’s disdain for him in the last book carries forward in this one but as she learns more about how he’s coping with his sudden “promotion,” she softens a bit. The tarot wasn’t as prominent in this book but it is still an integral part of the story.

My biggest complaint, if it is that serious, is that I didn’t like the way it ended. There are a number of reasons for that but mostly I was left unsatisfied and WISHING for just one more book!

The Keeper’s Card is the exciting conclusion to the Fairytale Tarot trilogy! I’ve enjoyed watching Archer’s writing evolve as she’s grown more confident in her ability to develop her characters and her world.

This series, overall, has all the elements to be an immersive and action-packed romantic fantasy. I think a lot of the impact of the narrative gets lost in unnecessary details and in Mira’s excessive monologues. There’s a lot of inner turmoil and the prose leans more tell than show. Consequently, much of the plot was Mira ruminating about a problem, which would then be solved before I had a chance to fully grasp what was at stake. There are also so many players in the story that appeared for a scene or two before they then vanished or were relegated back to the background, which left me confused about their intended purpose and role in the story.

Despite this, I was invested in seeing how all the different threads of the story would come together and intrigued by the politics and magic of the world. I think Archer has a lot of potential as a writer - the creativity and ideas are all there. I look forward to more stories and her continued growth as a writer.

Thank you to Erin Archer for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Guys. This story was everything I could have hoped for and more. I fell in love with Mira from the very first book and to see where she is at the beginning of this story made me smile. She has come a long way from the girl on the beach. I had been waiting for the conclusion to this story since I finished The King’s Card and it didn’t disappoint. Every free moment I had was spent reading this story to see how Mira and Bael’s story would end. There were a lot of moments with me looking at the nonexistent camera, saying “OMG” out loud, there were also “oh Mira” moments as well. When the final battle happened I could not (would not) put the book down until I finished. There were tears (you’ll have to read to see why) but the book left a warm feeling in me once I turned the last page.

This really is such a great story and if you haven’t started reading it yet I suggest you start with The Queen’s Card and fall in love with Mira and Bael. Honestly, if I could read this again for the first time I would but I promise it will definitely be a reread later on for me. Happy Release day Erin and congratulations on finishing this beautiful trilogy. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next! 💙🖤

Betrayal, Blood Magic, and the Final Card 🃏✨

The stakes have never been higher for Mira. To secure the final Arcana card, she’s playing a dangerous game of hearts with Ambrose—the protector who loves her and the one man she’s already betrayed. But what starts as a desperate ruse quickly spirals into a nightmare:
The Deception: A fake plea for help brings Mira back into Ambrose’s arms (literally, while soaring through the air), but the truth is catching up fast.
Sleeper Magic: King Lewis delivers a cryptic warning from the mirror—Mira’s suppressed power is a ticking time bomb, and it’s finally starting to leak.
The Purple Tide: When the Moon card spills a mysterious, sleep-inducing liquid, the castle's secrets become as dangerous as the brewing rebellion outside its walls.

With the Azreans revolting, ancient curses breaking, and a shocking death that changes everything, Mira must realize that the history she was taught is a lie.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Vibe: High-stakes fantasy where no one is safe and the truth is deadlier than the magic.

ARC REVIEW. I am reviewing this because I really enjoyed it and did not receive any payment for my review.

This book was everything I had hoped it would be for the last book in a series. I really enjoyed it. I'm so sad that the series is over though.

Keeper's card picks up right where "The King's Card" left off. The hunt for the card that can stop everything is on. During the hunt, Mira finds things out about herself that she struggles to believe. There were so many twists in this book, some that I didn't see coming at all. There were moments that broke my heart and moments that made me laugh so hard that I scared my cats. It was just a beautifully written book and series as a whole. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. I think this is my favorite book for the month of April.

This book has Raven shifters, Wolf shifters, and dragon shifters. It also has wraiths and a ghost. This book is low spice, and I would say it is very appropriate for teenagers. Tropes include true mates. The magic system in this series was incredible.

In the epic conclusion to the Tarot Card Trilogy Mira is forced to flee again. She must learn the true power and secret of the cards as well as what must be done to restore the balance in the realms.

I am so enthralled by this series. Erin does a wonderful job with a complex, new magic that I've never read about before. It is interesting and keeps you wanting to learn right along with Mira. The final twist and the ending will have your heart smiling. This is one slow burn romantasy you don't want to miss.

Be watching because I have a strong feeling this will also publish as an omnibus.

Thank you @authorerinarcher for the early copy of this book!

I received an arc copy via Erin Archer in exchange for my honest review but all opinions expressed are my own.

Thank you to Erin for wanting me to ARC read book 3.

Where do I even begin with how OBSESSED with this book and series as a whole I am? First of all, sad that my favorite series has come to a close, because I absolutely LOVED this series and how even though it was fairytale retellings you never knew what was going to happen next. The twists and turns had me regretting needing to put the book down to go to work. The ballroom scene deserves its own social media post honestly. The pacing was perfect and I just love these characters and the world. I wish there was a fourth book coming because I just never want to say goodbye to Mira but I also do not envy her for the choice she had to make near the end (I was unwell reading that part).

In the same words, she is able to make you envision a complex world and political system, fall in love with relatable characters, and find your heart beating in anticipation of the end!

Through all of the mystery and political intrigue, I truly had no idea how Mira and Bael would find themselves on the other side to their own happily ever after. I loved this story from page one! If you want a modern romantasy with traditional fairytale vibes and swoon-worthy romance, this is your series!!

What a way to close out this trilogy! Seriously, the twists and turns kept me on my toes. But that character growth?! Good for them all 👏🏼👏🏼, except for King Adrian because he didn't grow and change into someone better for his people but I mean he still got what he deserved so 🤷🏽‍♀️. Ambrose got on my nerves in the last book, but his sacrifice and seeing reason this time around redeemed him. Mira's growth and understanding how things needed to change..chef's kiss! Bael is literally book boyfriend gold! He stands by his woman and guides instead of forcing her to bend to his perspective. I didn't think there'd be a new animal shifter in this book, but fae have their own rules and we mortals are just along for the ride 🤣Thank you @authorerinarcher for the privilage to be part of your ARC team for this trilogy!

The Keeper’s Card is a great young adult romantasy and a truly satisfying conclusion to the series. The final story picks up with Mira in Azrea, now armed with new knowledge about her family and the magic she may possess. Determined to finally defeat King Adrian, Mira begins to uncover vital information about the Arcana magic. With the love and unwavering support of her mate, she finds the strength and courage needed to save the day and vanquish the evil once and for all. I love a happy ending, and this book delivered a wonderful conclusion that felt earned and complete. This series would be a fantastic choice for younger readers who want to dip into romantasy but aren’t quite ready for the spicier stories yet.

ARC review — all thoughts my own 💙

The Keeper’s Card by Erin Archer was a fast-paced and satisfying conclusion to the Fairytale Tarot trilogy. While I do wish we had gotten a little more insight into certain areas of the story, I really appreciated how streamlined the pacing felt. There was no unnecessary filler — just the pieces needed to move the story forward and keep you invested.

One of my favorite things about this trilogy overall is how strongly it focuses on character growth and development alongside such a unique magic system. Watching everything come together in this final installment made the journey feel complete.

Overall, another engaging fantasy with a perfect ending to wrap the series up. Perfect series for a quick binge read.

I was given this as an advanced copy from the author directly.

We find ourselves back in Bayfe amongst the Azrean people for the final leg of this tale. As we follow Mira while she retraces her steps through the castle, we learn the truth of the power of the arcana cards and how to win the war.

Overall, I would have loved a little more world building, this journey has been amazing. Watching the characters grow into their own and learning the true power of choice has helped heal some of the broken parts of me. This book has twists that I was nowhere near expecting at all and absolutely loved it!

I went into this book thinking I had everything figured out, especially how it would end, but I was completely wrong. It kept me questioning the queen’s intentions and whether she was truly trying to save the kingdom, just in the wrong way. The twist with the cards was such a standout moment, and the idea that they reward those already meant for power was really impactful.

What I loved most about this series is its message about learning to rely on others. It reminds readers that not everyone is against you and that asking for help isn’t a weakness. Overall, it’s a powerful story that shows the difference between facing challenges alone and having a team by your side.

Review of Advanced Readers Copy.

What a ride! This book picks up where the 2nd book leaves off. Mira is whisked away by Ambrose. Ambrose still has feelings for her despite what he has told her in the past. All is not well at the castle. Mira has some PTSD moments from the last time she was there with Bael. In this book Mira learns more about her mother and what magic may have been passed to her. She is also tasked with finding the cards there to help deal with all the strange happenings in the other book. Overall, this book was a nice wrap up of the series. It did not come without loss. I really enjoyed the last book in this series!

This book was an amazing follow up to the previous two and left me with a satisfied feeling in my soul. I was hooked on this series already and this wrapped up everything in such a way that surprised me but also completed me. I wasn’t sure how I felt other than whole. The ending was everything I could have wanted but didn’t know we needed. Mira goes through a lot of character growth and faces even larger challenges to the things she has to do. Things don’t go perfectly but they go exactly as they should. I was so invested in this story and find myself sitting here content but missing the characters now that it is over.

After two books, the ending of this trilogy was unexpected, although I had my suspicions. Most of the story wasn't what I expected. However, the final battle section became a bit tedious to read, and I felt that Mira's conversation with the king was a little too long for my liking. While the ending left me with a bit of a feeling, I would have liked an epilogue that delves deeper into what happened to the kingdoms and the lack of magic.

And I'll just say, "Hey, I was expecting a bit more development regarding Bael's nightmares." I thought they would have been a bit more significant.

Thank you so much, Erin, for sharing the ARC of your novel with me.

I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I really wanted to love this series. The magic system had potential. There were some interesting uses of the curses that could have been explored a lot more. The process through which the MC brings the story to an end (I’m trying really hard to stay spoiler free here) did not resonate with me.

This is the first trilogy I’ve committed to previewing without having read any of the content out anything from the author yet. Not sure I’ll do that again.

ARC Review ❤️ all my thanks to the author.
3.5 ⭐, rounded up

This wraps up this trilogy. Each book is pretty short, making it quick and easy to get through. The magic tied to tarot cards and the fairytale retelling made for an interesting premise!

I would describe this series as a cozy-ish fantasy. There is character growth, a mostly happy ending, and a cute love story. The ending was a good fit for the series overall.

If you're looking for a quick getaway from reality, these books would be a good choice for you.

A delightful conclusion to this epic series! This finale was just as expected, full of grit and high stakes! Every end was tied up in a perfect bow that was satisfying. Overall a fantastic conclusion.

This is the 3rd book in the fairytale tarot series and it was an enjoyable conclusion to the story. I give it 3.5 stars!

It's a lot of fly by the seat of your pants action, which sometimes I like but the story was pretty chaotic. Which makes sense as you follow the story and you learn things as Mira does. I wish there was a little less inner monologue with Mira though, though it didn't really detract from the story.

This ending to the Fairytale Tarot Series was not what I expected! While I enjoyed the story and the magic system was intriguing, I felt that many aspects just weren't delved into enough. Side characters were sometimes left hanging, Ari and Elyse, and I just wanted more.
Mira's growth through this series was great, but her inner monologs got to be a bit much. Overall, I feel like this was a good, easy series for anyone looking for a fantasy romance!

The conclusion of the rulers happens in this final book. What a battle it is. So many things are on the line and it falls on Mira to work it all out. Not only kingdoms but personal relationships too.
In this final book Mira grows up from the hurt child who feels left out, to the mature woman who realizes life is bigger than just her.
Read the gripping conclusion today.

The final installment of the fairytale tarot series; such a wonderful way to end a series! This book had me hooked all the way through - we build such a relationship with Mira and Bael that you can't help but root for them in all the peril that they endure during this book!

If you enjoy tarot, fairy tales or romantasy, this is not a series to miss out on! I'm just sad that it's over.
