Baseball has always been the easy part for me.

Life? Not so much.

Between playing center field for the Atlanta Strikers, running a restaurant, raising my fiercely imaginative daughter, and a recent injury, I'm barely keeping it together. The last thing I need is another obstacle especially one that looks like my daughter's pediatrician.

Dr. Juniper Wilde.

My friends love her. My daughter lights up for her. And me? I think I loved her from the start.

So, I keep her at a distance. Keep things safe. Keep her firmly in the friend zone. Because the last thing Juniper needs is the chaos that comes with me.

Now she's dating other men, building a life that doesn't include me, and I'm stuck on the sidelines, watching her slip away.

The worst part is, she has no idea she's always been mine.

Juniper
Atlanta was supposed to be my fresh start—new job, new life, and no complications.

Then a fiery six-year-old and her ridiculously handsome father walk into my office and turn everything upside down.

Crew Briggs is charming, guarded, and completely off-limits. But somewhere between check-ups and lingering looks, I start wanting more than a friendship.

The problem? Crew already has too much on his plate. So, I do the sensible thing. I take a step back and remind myself of my end goal and decide to date other men.

Because I want my own love story.

Too bad the only man I want is the one who refuses to admit he wants me too.

3.5 stars. Rounding up. Arc reader for a honest review.

This was a cute baseball romance. Single dad who play professional ball as well as owning a restaurant, just learned his five year old daughter has ADHD.

New pediatrician in town, fun and wild scuba during the day for the kids, and black and a tad emo at night. Just moved to Atlanta from Nashville and is ready to settle down. She meets her new patient Addie and her hot dad, and Addie invites her to a baseball game. This book was cute and a quick read.

You guys know I love a single daddy book! Throw in some baseball and a possessive MMC & I was hooked!

I absolutely loved Crew & Junipers story. Their chemistry and connection was undeniable! this was definitely a slow burn, but one that I ate up!! Crew was swoony & just the best dad!! Little Addie was the sweetest soul & just brought so much light to this book!

Crew only wants the best for his daughter. He is looking for direction in helping her thrive. Insert Juniper, his daughter’s doctor, and someone he didn’t see coming. I loved watching their friendship grow to so much more & the way she helped him through his daughter’s diagnosis. The ADHD rep in this book was done so beautifully and I love the way it was navigated through this story!

This was a fun, heartwarming story & I just absolutely love the friend group thought the book! I can’t wait for more from this series!!

Thank you Indy & team for this early copy!!!

He was a good dad!!! The story was good but I feel like the vibe wasn’t for me. The ADHD rep with his daughter and how he navigates that was done fantastic! But he and the team and friends seemed a little immature for me. I enjoyed the FMC and we see growth all around but I think the vibe of the team just wasn’t for me. I’d definitely recommend giving it a chance!

We’ve waited for Crew Briggs and his little daughter Addie for a while, and let me tell you these two plus the beautiful story of him and Juniper was a fun time. The ADHD rep in this book is so well done, and handled with such care. The fact that Crew thinks he can’t go there with his daughter’s new doctor just made me love him more! There’s an instant attraction between these two- but there’s an invisible like drawn in the sand that they’re both apprehensive to cross because of Juniper being Addie’s new doctor. And whilst they both try to get on with life- Juniper with dipping her toe into the dating world and Crew concentrating on working on his elbow injury and liking after Addie, they can’t deny the pull they feel to each other. Juniper’s connection to Addie is just the absolute sweetest! And the banter from our strikers and their other halves makes this feel like coming home for some parts of the book which I loved. The simmering plot of Coach Lemmins has me so I intrigued too and I can’t wait to find out more about the last instalment of the Atlanta boys!

I haven't read the other books in this series, but I did enjoy this one so I'm sure I'll go back to read the rest! This story was cute and full of heartwarming moments. I love how precious Addie is and her personality shines! But when Crew needs some help navigating how to make Addie thrive in school, he definitely didn't think the new doctor would end up being all he can think about. Their tension and chemistry was so effortless and I loved them together!

I went into Draft Pick expecting a fun baseball romance and ended up getting emotionally attached to a fictional suburban dad, his adorable daughter, and the world’s coolest pediatrician instead.

Crew Briggs completely stole my heart. This man is exhausted in every possible way — balancing professional baseball, injuries, running a restaurant, and raising his daughter — but the love he has for Addie shines through in every single thing he does. Addie was honestly the heart of this story for me. She was funny, thoughtful, imaginative, and brought so much warmth to every scene she was in. Watching Crew fight so hard to support her after her ADHD diagnosis made me love him even more.

And Juniper Wilde? OBSESSED. Pediatrician by day in colorful character scrubs, emo black-clad queen by night? She was such a fun, refreshing heroine. Juniper was caring, patient, emotionally intelligent, and so easy to root for. I absolutely loved the relationship she built with Addie and how naturally she fit into their lives.

This was definitely a slow burn, but it worked so perfectly for these characters. Crew and Juniper’s relationship was built on friendship, trust, tension, and so much emotional vulnerability. The reasons they kept trying to stay apart actually made sense too. Juniper was Addie’s doctor, Crew already felt overwhelmed by everything on his plate, and neither of them wanted to risk hurting Addie if things didn’t work out. Meanwhile everyone around them could clearly see they were already halfway in love with each other.

Their banter was one of my favorite parts of the entire book. Juniper calling Crew “suburban daddy” every chance she got and this giant baseball man turning into a blushy mess over it? Incredible. He acted like he hated it while secretly loving every second of her attention, and it made their chemistry feel so natural and playful.

And THEN the spice hits. Once these two finally gave in, the tension exploded in the best way possible. Crew being completely gone for Juniper was ridiculously hot. This man was down bad without an ounce of shame, and the way he willingly handed over control and followed her lead? Yeah. I get the hype now.

But underneath all the chemistry and spice, this book really felt like a story about loneliness, healing, parenthood, and finding love when life already feels messy and full. It felt grounded and emotional in a way that made everything hit harder.

Also… Indy Valentine absolutely did not have to emotionally destroy me with that ending, but here we are.

I'm such a sucker for a good sports romance and even moreso a single dad story and Draft Pick did not disappoint 👏

Such a cute (and spicy 🔥) read!

Crew is a professional baseball player, restaurant owner and single dad to Addie aka Adeline Briggs, Queen of Emerald City and my goodness did this little queen steal my heart 🥰 What a firecracker! I looked forward to her parts of the story so much and she kept bringing the smiles! Addie has been diagnosed with ADHD and it's clear how much Crew will do anything to help his daughter. When he loves, he loves hard. Loyal and trustworthy, a down to earth man.

When the town's pediatrician retires, Juniper Wilde enters the story as the new doctor in town to the littles. When Crew takes Addie to visit her, the sparks fly immediately but both of these two try to turn a blind eye as the both have so much going on in their lives, and Juniper is Addie's doctor after all. Addie falls in love with Juniper and as their paths keep crossing, and Juniper befriends not only the wives of Crew's baseball team but also Addie's mom, both Crew and Dr. Wilde, can't deny the mutual feelings between them that go beyond friendship.

I just loved Juniper! She is a strong woman who lives her authentic self but struggles with hurt from her past due to growing up in a hoarder household. I love how Crew and Addie complete her (and vice versa 🥹) and how Queen Addie has a small part in bringing joy and hope to Juniper's mother through a FaceTime call. Bonus points to her creating the totally hot "Suburban Daddy" nickname 😅 The banter between these two was fabulous!

This is a slow burn but when the spice hits... it sure hits 🔥🥵 Draft Pick had me swooning, laughing, smiling and blushing 🤭 I couldn't put this book down!

I absolutely loved the ending and look forward to the next book in the series as I'm now invested in Coach and his story to come! 👀

This is my first book of Indy Valentine's but it definitely won't be my last! I just love her writing style!

Thank you so much to Indy and Luna Literary for the ARC of Draft Pick in exchange for my honest review.

4.75 ⭐️’s!! First I wanna talk about how honored I am to be able to read an advanced copy of this book. I literally was on the verge of tears when I found out I had the opportunity to read this.

Crew just found out his daughter has ADHD, and he’s made it his mission to do everything right by her and get her all the help she needs. Juniper is the new town physician and she wants to find some friends in her new town. After finding out that Juniper is Crew’s daughter‘s, Addi’s, new physician, they now have to navigate Addi‘s new diagnosis and their relationship along the way.

From the very first chapter of this book, I knew that I would absolutely love everything about it. The way Indy can write about Addi‘s ADHD and crew’s love for her was so heartwarming and I literally raved about it for days. (My Aunt can attest to this lol)

Crew is willing to do anything and everything to get Addi all the help she can get and he refuses to take any negativity about her having ADHD. Seeing him fight for her and his love for her really shows you how far Crew’s love for Addi goes. Crew is such a loving person and once you’re in his circle, he cares for you with his whole heart. I loved Crew from page one and I am a diehard fan girl to the end of my days.

I absolutely loved Juniper! Her journey of self discovery and independence was so interesting and amazing to be a part of. I love being able to read about her love for kids and how she is now unafraid to be herself. Just the way that she loves the people around her, especially Addi is absolutely amazing.

This is actually my first Indy Valentine book, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to read this. If you have never read one of her books, let me just vouch and say you need to. I am forever changed in the best way possible. 🫶🏼🎀

ARC review

Thank you so much to Indy Valentine and Literary Agency for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All of my opinions and feelings are my own.

Firstly, I desperately wanted to be obsessed with this. I mean it got sports romance combined with single dad x his daughter’s pediatrician. It was meant to be, a match made in heaven. I was so prepared to shout about my love for this book. But it unfortunately didn’t hit with me.

I’m going to start out with the stuff that didn’t click with me. Number one has to be the chemistry between Juniper and Crew. I mean I could read that they were very much attracted to each other but beyond that? It felt lacking and I felt that their overall chemistry could’ve been more fleshed out. I want more than just lust between characters, I want raw emotions to.

The second thing that bugged me was how immature Crew felt at certain scenes, particularly in a scene where he crashes one of Juniper’s dates. Felt very immature since they hadn’t even acknowledge their feelings for each other even at that point. I love a possessive man (in fiction) but that has to once they ”get together”. It felt out of place because I love Crew as a character.
And don’t get me started on the epilogue that only takes place three months later.
The sex scenes are just…okay. A little lackluster.

Okay so the more positive things I have is that I love this series so much. It’s fun, fast-paced with lovable characters. It feels like a big family seeing everyone together. And I love that!
I adored seeing Crew being such an awesome dad to Adeline. Their relationship was so cute and heartwarming.
I really liked Juniper. She felt relatable in a sense and I just overall loved her aura.

The ending has me so excited for the next book since I’ve been waiting for Coach’s book for a hot minute! Can’t be obsessed with Jack and his story.

Thank you Indy Valentine and Luna for the opportunity to an advanced readers copy of "Draft Pick", the fourth installment from the Atlanta Boys series releasing May 21st and ket me tell you: how did it take me so long to doscover this series? Talk about adding the lineup to my TBR to fill in between ARCs and BETAs because I devoured this book in 12 hours.

We meet Crew and Juniper. Juniper is Adeline's new doctor and Crew is obsessed from the beginning and the banter; angsty tension and lets not stop At the chemistry steaming through the pages. This book was almost a grand slam in my books for a baseball romance. Its a slow burn but for good reason and when the eff it moment hits; Indy- giiiiiirl high five. Nailed it.

Crew's story and mindset mixed with Juniper's story makes a gentle mental representation that stands out and I recommend to protrct your space st all cost because these two do it together. They cross paths due to Adeline's ADHD diagnosis and when I saw Crew is tripping over his feet, it comes full throttle when his friends lock him in a room and tell him to get it together and get it done.

The relationship between Adeline and Juniper is so pure and full of life and I couldn't love it anymore. How the entire gang just accepts her and her nuisance without a battle is what you love to see for series build outs of last characters. I'm kind of stoked to rewd Navy's story to be honest alongside the others and the fact we get Coach next? That story will break a person if you know, you know. If you don’t, get caught up with the Atlanta Boys ahead of the next release because it sure will be full of tissues.

INDY!!!!😩😭😭😭 Can we start off on that ending?! Emotional damage:)

Golly goodness this was absolutely beautiful. These characters were everything and more.

Crew was made to be a daddy. He is so caring , attentive and puts all his love in his daughter first. Before baseball, before his business, before sleep and his own sanity. Made me love him to my core how patient and loving he is🥹 Addie was the cutest kid. She was so funny, so thoughtful and a pure heart for a 6 year old. I love how she was written, she had challenges to face but she was such a strong little girl. She made me smile so hard my cheeks hurt😭

NOW.....DR. WILDE🔥🔥🔥 MOMMY? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry. Wow what a woman. 😀 Hannah Montana who? This girl is a pediatrician by day with her colorful spunky scrubs who is so attentive to all and had my heart melting at how sweet she was. But....by night😏 My emo dressing mommy. And the glasses? 😩😩😩😩 She was the perfect character. I was expecting her to be grumpy but she was brighter than the sun. Easy to love. The way she put her feelings on hold for the sake of Crews daughter and career made me fall in love with her more. I LOVEEEEE THE FRIENDS TO LOVERS. They created such a beautiful bond first and that made the attraction and tension 10x better💗

Now..... I felt like I was going to explode. This was such a fast read i devoured it, and short being 300 pages but indy manages to have it slow burninnnnn and....I loved it. Keep me on edge girl😏🔥

Indy Valentine is a new to me author. Draft Pick was just what I needed to cleanse my reading funk. Draft Pick has a lot of my favorite tropes in one book. There is single dad, baseball, and friends to lovers.

Crew is a single dad who is a center fielder of a professional baseball team. The love and relationship between him and his daughter, Adeline or Addie, is just the most precious thing you will read. Queen Adeline Briggs of Emerald City will steal every scene.

Juniper is new to town after moving from home to take over as a pediatrician when the previous retired. The meet cute is at Queen Addie’s first appointment with the new pediatrician. That meet cute?! So so cute!

Personally, I seriously needed this book at this time. Draft Pick is definitely on the light hearted side though the main characters do have real life issues of their own. I needed something light with a good storyline. Draft Pick fits those needs. I loved the progression of Crew and Juniper’s relationship. These two try fight the chemistry between them. The more instances they two find themselves together in the more that their chemistry just simmers until THAT moment. Who doesn’t love a good THAT moment.

This may be my first Indy Valentine book but it will definitely not be the last. I already downloaded (& ready to read) the first book in this series.

Thank you to Luna Literary for the for the advance reader copy. I reviewed an advance copy of this book freely and voluntarily. I received no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.

I received an advance reader copy of this book and am sharing my honest review.

Addie absolutely stole the show in this book! She played such an important role in bringing Crew and Juniper together, and their connection wouldn’t have happened without her.

I loved how Juniper was portrayed — a fun, caring pediatrician during the day with her playful character scrubs, but more laid-back and often dressed in black outside of work. Crew was immediately drawn to her when she became Addie’s new pediatrician, and I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow slowly and naturally, with plenty of encouragement from the people around them.

Juniper’s childhood added so much to her character. Growing up with parents who struggled with hoarding clearly left trauma, so when she had the chance to take over the practice in Atlanta, she felt like she had nothing holding her back. What she didn’t expect was meeting an amazing little girl who would push her out of her comfort zone and into a baseball stadium — where she discovers that Addie’s dad is actually one of the players.

One of my favorite parts was how warmly the group welcomed Juniper into their circle. It truly felt like she finally found a place where she belonged. As she becomes more comfortable with herself and starts healing from her past, you can see how much closer she and Crew grow. From the moment they met, there was a pull between them, and watching that connection deepen throughout the story was wonderful.

I finished the ARC for Draft Pick by Indy Valentine and this book completely surprised me in the best way.

This wasn’t just a romance to me - it felt like a really honest look at loneliness, timing, parenthood, and finding love when life is already full of responsibilities. The story felt incredibly grounded and real, which made the emotional moments hit even harder.

What stood out most to me was Crew’s character. As a single mum myself with a demanding job, I related so much to that feeling of giving every part of yourself to your kids and leaving very little behind for your own happiness. The book captured that sacrifice so well without making it feel overdramatic. It just felt honest.

Crew and Juniper were such beautifully written characters. Their relationship wasn’t rushed or perfect - it was built on empathy, understanding, vulnerability, and two people simply wanting connection. Watching them slowly let each other in was one of my favourite parts of the story.

I also really appreciated that this book focused on love later in life and showed that it’s never “too late” to find your person. There was something really comforting and hopeful about that.

Overall, this was such a heartfelt and emotional read, and I’m definitely interested in continuing the series. If you enjoy character-driven romances with emotional depth, mature themes, and realistic relationships, I’d absolutely recommend picking this one up.

Indy Valentine does not miss! Every book I’ve read has been 5⭐️and this is my new favorite by her! I absolutely loved this story with my whole heart😭

Crew is a professional baseball player for the Atlanta strikers and is struggling with his daughter being diagnosed with adhd. Juniper is the new pediatrician in town and will do everything she can to help his daughter. She befriends one of the other players’ wife’s which leads to a friendship with Crew. I just loved watching their friendship grow and turn into something amazing! The banter was perfection and those nicknames were just so great😂The tension was tensioning and when they finally give in omg was it so damn good! Daddy Crew Briggs can get it any day of the week😮‍💨🥵damn that man was perfection😮‍💨

This book really hit home for me as both my boys have adhd and I had a lot of the same struggles. The relationship Juniper had with his daughter just melted my heart. The found family was incredible and she just fit in perfectly with all of them.

This is book 4 in the Atlanta boys series and releases on May 21st! I will immediately be going to read the other 3 books! Add this one to your tbr asap! Thank you so much Indy I’m so honored to be on your team!

Crew Briggs is the kind of MMC who slides into a story the way a well hit ball finds the outfield, easy to admire but complicated to catch. Draft Pick gave me exactly that: cozy small town vibes, a swoony single dad dynamic, and a steady lineup of warm, domestic moments. The heart of the book is Crew’s messy juggling act. Baseball, a restaurant, and a wildly imaginative little girl, against Dr. Juniper Wilde’s patient, principled steadiness. Their chemistry simmers rather than explodes, which is a nice change from the usual insta love tropes. The setup and family beats shine. Readers will for sure eat up the parenting scenes and the tender slow burn glances but the romantic stakes sometimes hover without fully landing. Crew’s internal walls are convincing, but I wanted a deeper look at the emotional consequences of his choices. Juniper’s perspective is strong, but a bit more raw honesty would have pushed this from “nice” to “unforgettable.” If you love character driven romance with comforting domesticity and slow burn tension, Draft Pick will be a satisfying read. If you crave heavier emotional reckonings or high stakes conflict, this one might leave you wanting.

Thank you to Luna Literary and Indy for providing me with a copy of Draft Pick. As always, my opinions are my own.

Baseball is my favorite sport! Indy describing Juniper's reaction to seeing the Atlanta Strikers players stretching had me giggling. "Big booty Judys are emphasized while hamstrings are being pulled as far as humanly possible, guaranteeing they aren't the only thing warming up. How ever will their ball sacks survive?" Indy has been added to my list of must read authors. I love the devotion Crew has for his daughter. The slow burn is not always my jam but I feel like it was needed for Crew and Juniper. It made their story more relatable.

Crew Briggs is a busy guy. He plays center field for the Atlanta Strikers, is trying to raise a fiesty six year old and run his restaurant. He is so supportive of his daughter that was recently diagnosed with ADHD. He wants her to be able to learn the way she needs to. One thing he doesn't have time for is love.

Dr. Juniper Wilde has moved to Atlanta from Nashville for a fresh start. When she meets Crew and his daughter Addie she knows right away there is something very special about them. But since she is Addie's doctor, Briggs is off limits. No matter how hot he is.

But when Briggs teammates, Addie and even his ex makes friends with Juniper things get complicated fast. These two want more but are afraid to admit it. Will they keep things "professional" or will Briggs make the good doctor his draft pick?

✨Gifted ARC✨
This single dad/professional baseball player and this pediatrician were just meant to belong to each other; I enjoyed reading their story.

THOUGHTS 💭
⚾️ Our MMC Crew was such a good dad! He advocated for his daughter, spoiled her, and just loved her in the best way.
🩺 I absolutely loved the chemistry between Crew and our FMC Juniper, as well as the “We shouldn’t do this, but we can’t help it” nature of their relationship. Dad + his daughter’s pediatrician? Yes, please.
⚾️ Teammate banter is what makes sports romances top-tier for me. I loved the way the guys ribbed and supported each other, as well as the camaraderie between the wives/girlfriends!
🩺 I loved how easily Juniper slotted into this friend group/found family. They all fell in love with Juniper at the same time Crew was falling for her.
⚾️ Crew’s handling of his daughter’s ADHD diagnosis was kind and thoughtful and loving and supportive. He loved that girl with his whole heart and I loved him for it.
🩺 Watching Crew realize he wanted Juniper had me running my hands together with glee. They tried to deny their feelings for each other, but they just couldn’t!
⚾️ The friends to more slow burn that I experienced in this book was next-level. And when these two finally decided to be together? 🫠

Thanks so much to Indy Valentine and Luna Literary Management for the ARC of this book!

My sweet and perfect babies, oh how I love them 😭

Crew is making it his life’s mission to get his daughter, Addie, help with her ADHD. It’s starting to affect her life and school and they are evaluating the options.

Juniper is the towns new pediatrician. She’s on a mission to say yes more and find friends in her new town.

Juniper becomes Addie’s new doctor and the 3 of them start to slowly build the most natural friendships. Crew is a single dad who co-parents and bless all the things because there’s zero baby mama drama and I think you for that 🙏🏼

The way that their friendship grows throughout this book is beautiful! This is a tension filled slow burn with a side of friends to lovers. It’s felt very realistic to how a real life relationship would develop, especially when you work full time and throw in being a single parent to the mix.

They made sure of what they wanted before moving forward with their relationship and I love that so much! If you’ve read the other books in the series then this is an extra fun time to see what everyone is up to 🥹 August Graves makes quite the addition with his shenanigans and listen.. any glimpse of daddy August is FINE BY ME! 😅

This would make the perfect beach/vacay read! Add this to your TBR asap! It’s a home run for sure 🥹

I was lucky to receive the ARC for this 🙏

This book was actually the best one yet. I enjoyed the other three, but this is my clear favourite.
I honestly didn’t think I’d be this invested in Crew’s story, but wow… this was genuinely such an enjoyable read.

Crew was such an amazing MMC and deserved the world. His love for his little girl was moving from the very beginning. The swoon-worthy dad devotion? Absolutely everything.
I also loved the relationship with his daughter’s mother. The strong co-parenting with no messy drama was so refreshing to read. And his daughter was written so well and added so much heart to the story.

Juniper was such a sweetheart. She gave off such cozy, comforting vibes and suited Crew perfectly. The slow burn and friendship-building between them was beautifully done, and seeing them finally realise their feelings was so satisfying.

Overall, Crew and Juniper are officially my favourites 😍 I really thought Tenley and August would stay at the top, but they’ve been moved down.

Now I desperately need Jack’s story because that man already has a tight hold on my heart ❤️

Crew is a dad, baseball player, and restaurant owner. He has a lot going on in his life. When he meets Dr. Juniper Wilde, his daughter’s pediatrician, he knew she was the right person to help him with his daughter’s diagnosis. Juniper is new to town opening up her own practice. She gets in with Crew’s baseball team family and wonders if she can stay friends with Crew or hope for something more.

My gosh I loved reading this book. I related to it so much because my oldest child has ADHD. It’s such a battle being a parent because everyone does it differently. I was so happy to see how this was handled in the book. It tore at my heart on how Crew is trying his best to make sure Addie gets all the help she can get.

I love that Crew and Juniper started out as friends and it was a slow burn. I love the way Indy writes. All of these books have been so much fun to read and I love the bromance and friendship that the girls have. I’m especially excited for the next book, because I’ve been wanting him to have his happily ever after too!

Easily a five star read. The spicy moments were perfection and the storylines were great.

I love supporting women in STEM!

One of my favorite aspects of this story was the ADHD representation. I don’t often come across books that explore what it’s like for a child struggling with ADHD and the different options available to help them navigate it. I found it eye-opening, especially as someone with a sibling who has ADHD, it gave me a deeper understanding and appreciation for those experiences. I also really appreciated how openly the parents discussed treatment options and support without shame or judgment.

Dr. Wilde, aka Juni, was the perfect blend of sugar and spice. She’s an exceptional pediatrician who is both highly professional and amazing with kids, while also carrying this confident, sexy black-cat-energy vibe that made her alluring Though she comes from a place of trauma, I loved seeing how willing she was to communicate and allow herself the space to grow and be vulnerable.

Crew, a seasoned Striker nearing retirement, was equally compelling. He’s trying to reprioritize his life around his daughter and the things that truly matter to him. The guilt he carries about not always being present felt, and I loved that once he knew what he wanted, he wasn’t afraid to pursue it.

Together, Juni and Crew had great chemistry and brought plenty of tension and spicy moments, especially involving a team jersey 👀.

Tropes & Features:

Dual POV
Friends to Lovers
ADHD Representation
Single Dad Romance

Juniper and Crew were everything I want in my MCs! Crew was a single father who just wanted to help his daughter have the best life possible. She was his priority and he made that known in his actions and words. I loved how Juniper’s relationship with her parents was portrayed.

Juniper loved with her whole heart despite some trauma she struggled with. This is different than the trauma we usually see talked about. Juniper’s parents were loving and took care of her but were a bit absent emotionally. I loved how this was portrayed and how she handled it. She was such a great balance of loving people and forgiving them, but also doing what was right for herself.

The way she loved Crew’s daughter Addie with no reservations 🥹 Addie was so cute and I adored her big personality. She was a fun addition to the story.

Their love story was a very slow burn 🔥 I found myself holding my breath waiting for them to give in. Once they do… oh man it was worth the wait!! Crew in love was so so sweet and I loved how he went all in with showing her how he felt. Loved these two.
Can’t wait for the next book 🥰

Thank you to Indy Valentine for the eARC!

We're back with the Atlanta Boys!! Missed these guys. Book 4 in the series, a standalone with interconnected characters and my favourite couple just keeps changing with every book! This is the story of Crew and Juniper and I'm pretty sure I read this whole book with a grin on my face - between the antics of the boys, Juniper, Crew and Addie - absolutely loved it.
Dr Juniper Wilde is new to Atlanta and ends up treating Addie, so she wont cross that Dr/Parent line with Crew despite the insane attraction. Its a slow burn because they accept each other as friends for a while, until they can't anymore and boy when that tension explodes - wow, Dr Wilde is WILD. Crew is smitten, Addie is absolutely royalty and Juniper is confident, sassy and all things wild. Loved being back with the boys, what a great bunch.

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

The Atlanta Boys: Crew and Juniper

Where to even start…?
The ADHD rep was done well, and I love how Juniper dealt with the sensitivities of medicating. Such an ingenious way…
I’ve got to tell you… That Aspect resonated. With a child with ADHD, dealing with the school drama and taking the steps to medicate is hard. I totally felt Crew at that point.
The chemistry was there from the start, and I didn’t mind the ‘will they, won’t they’ aspect. We knew it was coming, and it was a tough situation to work through to feel comfortable taking that next step. And having her still dating was so refreshing.
I adored her connection with Addie. It was precious. Much like Addie, herself.
And the team… the created family… the banter was awesome, if a little immature at times, but still entertaining.
The story around Jack is heartbreaking, and knowing his story is coming? Sure to bring on the angst.

Thanks, Indy, for the advance copy. Very enjoyable.

Love, love, love!!! I devoured this book in less than a day. Stood up until 4am finishing it! That's how good it is. Not only did the humor draw me in, but I also relate to this book in more ways than one. I understand what Juniper goes through when dealing with a man with a child. The love and relationship that you build with their little one. Having known what Juniper goes through makes the book all the better. If Juniper's personality doesn't draw you in, then best believe the Suburban Daddy definitely will!! Crew is the biggest green flag daddy there is. Not only does his relationship with his daughter melt your heart, but his protectiveness and kindness to others are unmatched. I mean.... who wouldn't love a professional baseball player with thick thighs and an anaconda in their bed lol

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and definitely would recommend it! Thank you so much to Indy Valentine and Luna Literary for the opportunity to read this amazing book!

This book has some of my favorite tropes in it—single dad, friends to lovers and a protective hero. Once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down!

This was my first time reading a ADHD rep—father dealing with the diagnosis of his daughter—and the author handled it beautifully. It was a slow burn—-or more so that the MMC and FMC were slow to act out on instant attraction. The relationship that Juniper has with Addie will melt your heart.

The little girl Addie—-I mean Queen Adeline Briggs of Emerald City 😆— completely stole my heart from the very beginning with her larger than life personality.

This was my first book read of this author and while this could be read as a stand alone, I got curious about the characters and probably would end up reading from book 1 seeing as this is book 4.
