I am so conflicted about this because I think this book had sooo much potential. I loved the premise of the book and the first installment was really good. But at the 74% mark it just went south really bad for me! I actually had to 'vent' my frustration to my hubby who had no idea what on earth I was talking about!!

This was a tricky one to put together. I don’t want to give away too much but I wanted to bring you snippets from each novella. My suggestion is to get the bundle and read them straight through, you won’t want to stop!
Volume 1
From secrets comes honesty. From lies come truths. What starts as a hobby, becomes an obsession of dangerous proportions. Her stalking actually works in her favor, go figure! This is how Brook and Niko meet.
“My mouth drops open, and he winks at me. He seriously winks at me, and at the exact moment his eye flutters back open and connects with mine, all strength I had to possibly refuse flew from my body.”
The heat between these two is palpable. Niko finds Brook after she saved him one night (from another crazy stalker chick nonetheless LOL). At first I found it odd that they had such an instant connection. He’s famous and she’s a has been (in her own eyes) so what would he want with her. I just loved how Niko reacts to Brook. He was so demanding ad sexy all the time.
“We both want the same thing, but we’re afraid of it,” he says, his voice thick with desire.
But things come crashing down…
Volume 2
In the blink of an eye things changed. My heart hurt for Brook. She finally seemed like she was in a good place, or getting to one at least and then BOOM…carpet ripped out from under her.
“If I ever want happiness, I need to find it and grasp it for myself.”
Brook has some soul searching to do, the poor woman is depressed and confused and trying to stay afloat. Unexpected help from someone from her past doesn’t help those feelings either.
“If two hearts are connected, nothing else matters. Who they are, what they do – it doesn’t matter because there are no boundaries, or obstacles, if they’re destined to be together.”
When you get to that line….you may want to cry, I know I did! Jump right into Volume 3 —>
Volume 3
Brook is on her own, standing on her own two feet and moving on! Woot woot! She was getting back to normal, happy and smiling and LOVING her new job. Remember that heat I talked about between her and Niko…it’s still there, whenever they see each other and it’s H-O-T. Brook loses all reason around Niko.
“My conscience screams this is a mistake, but my heart refuses to listen.”
Still unsure of what is real and what is a lie Brook battles with her feelings A LOT and Niko doesn’t help her at all LOL
“I was so afraid you wouldn’t come. I needed to see you so badly, everything dies away when you’re not with me.”
Who could resist this man….he’s hot, charming, sweet, I could go on and on but you will have to read to find out. I enjoyed the secrets and the mystery, the heat and the passion, and the feels, all of the feels!

This book was an assigned read and I didn't expect to get caught up into its web. But I was so wrong and happily so. This first book is only the tip of an iceberg! We get to meet two very interesting characters that have an unusual connection. When they finally meet face-to-face, the physical chemistry is off the charts! But secrets, past issues and one determined crazy stalker threatens to destroy the potentially budding romance.
Despite my earlier reluctance, I am thrilled with the plot, the powerful characters, the sexual tension and expression, as well as the mystery and intensity of the antagonizing forces. This story is well written, the dialogue realistic and the scenes well orchestrated. One of my favorites was the scene at the French restaurant. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars!

3 books into one for a bargain price. 3.5 stars! A nice, enjoyable, light read about an actor and a photographer. I read in an evening. Setting 4/5, steam 3/5, characters and gripness 3/5. Will probably recommend for a short read, but not gripping enough to rate any higher.
