So far, this series is 2/2 for the most shocking endings that makes you question everything you thought you knew.

There were a lot of twists and turns in this one, and I loved solving the puzzle piece by piece. (Again, or so I thought.)

Great writing, and it’s nice to see the world expanding from the first book. (Impatiently) looking forward to the next one.

Daniela Davison does it again! The sequel to Reapers of Does and Lambs is an exceptional read. The world feels so much bigger, with new characters, history, and details that broaden the scope and depth of the world. The writing style provides multiple viewpoints in a way that flows easily and provides the reader with additional insight into the characters.

The twists and turns keep you guessing - people I thought I knew surprised me, and the “side characters” and new characters became more important in ways I couldn’t anticipate. Just when I thought I had things figured out, something unexpected happened which made the story impossible to put down. The final twist (no spoilers!!) makes me even more eager for the last installment.
