He’s been obsessed for years. She’s the one secret he was never meant to touch.
Wesley Granville controls information the way others control weapons. As the tech specialist for a trio of hitmen, it’s his job to erase trails, manage informants, and spin a web so tight no one ever sees the bullet coming. In a world where anonymity means survival, he’s learned not to look too closely at the people behind the data.
Except for one. Madison Cooper. His favorite spider.
And now, his newest target.
Madison has always had a crush on the mysterious man behind the screen–but she knows better than to blur the lines between business and desire. When a handsome stranger enters her life who feels unsettlingly familiar, suspicion turns sharp. As she pushes for answers, she stumbles into a world of hitmen, manipulation, and murder that was never supposed to touch her.
Wesley won’t let the woman he’s been quietly obsessed with become collateral damage. But protecting Madison means pulling her deeper into this war, and needing her help means exposing himself and the secrets of his past that no one was ever supposed to know.
As they work together to hunt the man pulling all the strings, the lines between digital and real begin to blur. Passion hums beneath every interaction, charged with the knowledge that they’ve both wanted each other all along. Desire clashes with need. Trust tangles with control.
But caught in a web of secrets and lies, loving her might be the one truth that destroys them both.
Caught in His Web is the final book in the Hitmen of Ulysses trilogy of dark romantic comedies. It’s filled with dangerous men, moral ambiguity, intense desire and obsession, and the kind of love that could ruin them both. Perfect for fans of Navessa Allen, Brynne Weaver, and SJ Tilly.

I loved this trilogy so much and didn't want it to end !
The banter between all the books were top notch 👌 . And if you like to read about hitmen who only go after horrible people then you found the books for you.
This one follows Wesley who is like a superhuman computer. He is a genius and keeps the team together and gives them their targets after doing research on all the names given to him . When he gets a name that is unusual as shes not their typical subject he wants to dive deeper.
After a slight bit of stalking he finds out shes not just anyone but someone hes known for 2 years and has fallen for . Well, now you don't put a target on his girl without consequences 😉.
fav quotes :
"It's always been you-long before we met in person. For me, it's only ever been you."
I blow air in his face-or as close as I can get, 10 inches below him-and he makes a face of surprise. "Dick breath?" I ask. A grin splits his face, and he chuckles. Suddenly, I'm pulled into his body with a thick arm around my waist. "Yes," he says fondly, leaning down, kissing me and promptly sticking his tongue in my mouth. "And now so does mine. That'll really confuse them, don't you think?"
"Are you really trying to convince me that not everyone loves a big-booty Latina?"
Fuck around and find out is a creed by which I live my life, and I don't mind playing chicken with my inherited 20-year-old Corolla.
She grins and admonishes, "Yeah, what the hell, man. Warn a girl next time. I thought British people were supposed to be polite. Shouldn't you have been all, 'tally ho, pip pip, good heavens, I'm arriving!' or something?"
Like, yes. Be obsessed with me. Find me. Break in. Just don't be surprised if I match that energy right the fuck back.
"Ah yes, the someone wants her dead excuse. A perfectly reasonable reason to do some creepy-ass stalker shit. We know it well."
Pathetic is expecting respect but giving none.
Shit. The General wants her dead. I'm meant to kill her. I'm not compromised. I'm screwed.
How unbelievably amazing. Wesley & Madison’s connection is one that could rival anything and everything. I’m still just stuck on mads sassy mouth tbh. Madison is one of my favorite fmcs EVER EVER EVER 💚
With the Hitmen of Ulysses wrapped up here are a few short thoughts
•The best books •Three group of adults living together at the end & i couldn’t be happier how it ended •I still would bang Felix •Lynn writes the most iconic characters •truly in love with all of them
Lynn - you have done it again. The perfect way to end the perfect trilogy.
Wesley and Madison are perfection. As usual, they are both so relatable.
Wesley is our tech genius and 1/3 of the Hitmen of Ulysses - Mac and Dimitri being his other cohorts. The men are setting their sights on taking down the mysterious General once and for all. Wesley can’t do it alone, though.
No, he needs the help of his favorite spider, mermaidav - aka Madison. She is a curvy, feisty Latina hacker that I’m absolutely in love with. She gives high FAFO energy.
These two have been chatting anonymously for years, and things really start to get interesting when her name shows up amongst the list of names that are next on the docket for the Hitmen to take out.
Surely, Wesley cannot be expected to execute the woman he is falling for…right?
That’s all you’re going to get from me…you’ll have to read the book to find out what happens!
Lynn - you had me laughing, giggling, swooning and crying. Laughing and crying within the same paragraph no less. Your writing is fantastic and you’ve created one of THE BEST dark romcom trilogies out there. Kudos to finishing this series on such a high note. As you know, Dimitri and Madison have my heart, always.
This book was a perfect ending to the series- Wes was the one i anticipated the most and he didnt dissapoint. He was the perfect gentleman with a slightly domineering side and aesthetically pleasing (just my type). I like how the story line tied up everything from the previous books and the spice was delicious. L.m.whiteley wrote her characters well- All the men are big and burley with matching appendages lol but even bigger hearts, yet uniquely individual. All the women are soft, sassy and curvy, and each holds there own strengths. Each couple compliments each other well and the group dynamics are an easy and well balanced fit. I cant wait to see what else is in the pipeline.
Every book in this series has been solid gold, but this one? Next level. Madison is hands-down my favorite FMC so far—smart, sarcastic, wickedly witty, and completely comfortable in who she is. And Wesley… a sexy, British, nerdy MMC who’s dominant as hell? Say less. The storyline was phenomenal and wove seamlessly into the rest of the series. I truly cannot recommend this book enough—an absolute must read. 🔥📚
Thank you, L.M. Whiteley, for letting me be a part of your ARC Team. Though I am sorry to see the Ulysses Hitmen series come to an end, it has quickly evolved into my favorite mafia/hitmen series! This Dark Rom-Com gets a 5-star rating and 4.5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
The banter, camaraderie, lust, tension, and total opposite of a slow burn are top-notch! I can’t get over my love for this series!!!
Book three of the Ulysses Trilogy brings back our favorite five characters (Mac & Eleanor, Dimitri & Nicole, and Wes), but this time Wesley finds his person. This British tall drink of water with an awesome body, tattoos to match, and highly intelligent computer nerd is going to get his turn. His reason for getting up and living and breathing daily. It’s been two years in the making, but this SpyderMan is about to meet one of his little spiders, his mermaid: sooner than he ever could have dreamed.
Madison Cooper is, let's say, a vertically challenged, feisty, vivacious, eccentric Latina with curves and tattoos that match her badass computer nerd intelligence to a tee. Other than trying to exist in an expensive world to afford rent, food, insurance, and nursing home bills, this life of a computer hacker is a struggle. In trying to take care of the only person who ever cared enough to raise her, her Abuela, Madison has to take on a few jobs that seem to put her in imminent danger. Madison has been chatting online for the past two years with the one true friend and secret obsession she has ever had. Should she meet him IRL, or maybe SpyderMan is someone who is just too good to be true?
The General's new Hitlist has come out, and since one of the hits is local, Wes dives in with a little bit of light stalking and finds out an exciting but also terrifying truth. This new target is his alt dream girl come to life! With his conscience pulling at him, he goes back to the rules of a hitman: kill your mark, don’t get caught, and don’t be stupid—which includes not having sex with someone you plan to kill.
Can falling for someone on the hitlist really happen?
Find out more as the book is released today!!!! I suggest you start with Eyes in the Shadows (Mac & Eleanor) and Kept in the Dark (Dimitri & Nicole).
Lynn, thank you again for bringing these characters into my life. I would be honored to be a part of the Ulysses team just to hear the banter alone would be the greatest gift. Laughing, giggling, smirking, spitting my drink out my nose, to crying and full circle back to laughing. You gave me these amazing gifts with your writing. I can’t wait to see what else you have in store.
I received an ARC of Caught in His Web, the third and final book in the Hitman of Ulysses series by L.M. Whiteley, and I genuinely did not expect this book to hit me the way it did 🥹.
This story centers on Madison, and from the moment she was introduced, she felt real. She’s a short, brown-skinned, curvy Latina woman who has dealt with weight comments, judgment, and people trying to talk down to her, and she absolutely refuses to let it slide. She’s tough, sharp, self-reliant, and quick with a comeback. Watching her stand her ground over and over again was incredibly satisfying.
Madison has spent the last two years chatting online with Wesley, known to her as Spyderman, while she goes by MermaidDav. Their relationship is built on banter, intelligence, and trust long before attraction ever comes into play. The chemistry between them grows naturally through conversation, shared problem-solving, and emotional connection, which made everything that followed feel earned.
Without spoiling anything, Wesley’s next job puts him directly in Madison’s path, and where the tension begins. There are secrets that stretch all the way back to book one, and seeing everything finally come together made it a great series.
One of my favorite parts of this series has always been the banter among the group. Mac is still hilarious, Dimitri’s constant mangling of English phrases never gets old, and the way the characters play off each other adds so much life and humor to the story.
What I love most about this series overall is its representation. The women are not cookie-cutter. They’re different shapes, sizes, and personalities, with real insecurities that are met with genuine admiration and support from the men who love them. Wesley fell for Madison before ever seeing her, and that mattered.
This was a perfect ending to the series. Emotional, funny, intense, and incredibly satisfying. I’m sad to see it end, but I cannot wait to see what L.M. Whiteley does next.
I loved all 3 books in this series. It’s nice to read stories where plus size women are also objects of desire. I’m curvy too and my husband is thin and muscular and loves all of me even though I don’t know how to.
I was so excited for Wesley to finally get his woman. That way he wasn’t the only one left out in the group. I never would’ve guessed what led to the Trio meeting. That was a nice bit to reveal.
Madison is so sassy, and such a spitfire! I love her. It’s especially funny given that you wouldn’t think she would be due to her short size and how tall anyone she encounters are. It’s funny but awesome she can hold her own in spite of that.
Ugh her neighbor was such a tool. I was glad a certain someone gave him a dose of his own medicine. However, I loved how Madison handled that bully on a regular basis. What a douche. I didn’t see that coming at the end but it honestly but it made perfect sense. Oh and the girls role was a shock too. So funny though.
I love that the girls are besties. Living their lives together makes it so much sweeter that they can all get along. Makes it easier for sure.
Oh and I’m so excited for the little beans. Yay!!
I hope there are possibly others characters in the series we’ve read about briefly that could potentially get a book of their own. I only have one in mind. Felix. Even though he always seemed like such a tool lol.
I read your acknowledgments at the end and now I am very curious what to come.
It was an honor and privilege to be one of your ARC readers. I honestly could’ve read it in less than a day but life gets in the way lol.
Your stories are filled with lots of love and action, found family and all the details that make it all come together so well.
Hacker x Hitman x OBSESSION?? Yeah this one had me instantly locked in.
You’re telling me he’s been secretly obsessed with her for YEARS while watching her through screens?? And now she’s his target?? SICK. I LOVE IT HERE.
This book gives: ✨ Obsessive MMC ✨ Hacker FMC (YES pls) ✨ Friends to lovers tension ✨ Stalking (dark romance style) ✨ Protective antihero hitman ✨ Found family chaos ✨ Morally gray EVERYTHING ✨ Plus size Latina FMC rep 🖤
Wesley Granville is the quiet, behind-the-scenes mastermind — the man who controls information like a weapon. He doesn’t get his hands dirty. He pulls the strings. Spins the web. Watches. Waits.
Except when it comes to Madison. His favorite spider. His obsession. The one person he was never supposed to touch.
The tension in this one??? Insane. Because they’ve BOTH wanted each other for so long but were forced to stay in their lanes. And when she starts suspecting the mysterious man in her life is connected to the world of hitmen and secrets?? The slow unraveling is SO good.
Madison is not naive either — she’s smart, suspicious, and capable, which makes the dynamic even better. Watching a hacker FMC get pulled into a dangerous hitman web while the MMC is internally spiraling trying to protect her?? Elite.
Also: Danger + obsession + forced proximity + secrets = top tier dark romantic comedy energy.
If you love: 🖤 Morally gray hitmen 🖤 “He’s been watching her for years” obsession 🖤 Hacker girlies 🖤 Protective but unhinged MMCs 🖤 Found family assassin vibes 🖤 Desire tangled with secrets & lies
This one is messy, obsessive, dangerous, and SO tension-heavy in the best way. And the fact that loving her could literally ruin everything for him?? That trope will never not hit.
This book was the perfect ending to the Hitmen Of Ulysses trilogy. I’m so sad to finish this series, even though the ending was everything I was hoping for. I was left starring at the wall knowing I wouldn’t hear Mac’s sense of humor, hear Dimitri’s google doc entries or hear Wesley’s calculating demeanor.
Lynn blew me away with her ability to create characters so relatable, charming and dominant in their own ways. I fell in love with each Hitmen and their women. Even though I absolutely love Wes and Mads, I am still team Mac and Eleanor forever!!
The plot in the book was well paced, the banter and tension were immaculate, the humor was too tier. The spice was spicing… 🥵 I can’t tell you one thing I didn’t like about this book. The action, the dark themes, the sass and humor all balanced out to create the best experiences between our Hitmen and their curvy women!!
There is a reason this was one of my most anticipated books of 2026 and why I’m positive this will be the next most talked about book in the bookish community!!! Lynn, I’m so happy for you!! You completed your first series and set the bar high!!! I’ll read anything and everything you publish, always!
I’ve never actively looked forward to the next book in a series before, but this trilogy changed that.
Lynn, you’ve done it again. Caught in His Web is the perfect way to wrap up the Hitmen of Ulysses Trilogy.
First off, the dedication is incredibly sweet. And once again, the phrase translations had me grinning with excitement even before the story truly began.
As always, the leads are instantly lovable, and my gods, the banter had me reeling. Wesley stood out as the sweetest man with how attentive and observant he is. Every small detail felt intentional and deeply affectionate.
One of the things I love most about this trilogy is that while each book can be read as a standalone, the characters from the wider story are ever-present. Being able to revisit them and then be able to read their POVs made everything feel so interconnected. That moment of realization of "wait… I remember when this happen" was incredibly satisfying.
Caught in His Web is beautifully written. It’s impossible not to love Madison and Wesley, as well as Eleanor, Nicole, Mac, and Dimitri. Each character adds depth, warmth, and continuity to the world Lynn has created.
The Hitmen of Ulysses trilogy will forever have a place in my heart. Definitely on my reread list.
This was the perfect end to the series - I recommend reading books 1 & 2 as it gives you insight to the full background of the villian they are aiming to catch.
Madison is a badass. She is a talented hacker while taking care of her abeula who has given her everything in life. She was so relatable in wanting to have friends, but struggling because of her strong personality and habit of rejecting people before being rejected.
Wesley is the Hitmen's resistant hacker, computer nerd. When he realizes his target is one of his spiders he's connected with over the last few years, he knows he has to protect her. His protectiveness translates into dominance in the bedroom and the mouth on this one...wow!
I loved how well these two worked together in taking down our villian and the way they communicated with each other. He listened to her needs, she listened to his coping mechanisms, and while they had arguments they knew they had to work together to get through it.
I did feel the book was too long in certain parts and that he should've figured out who she was quicker, but overall I loved this one and this series as a whole.
Thanks to L.M. for this ARC copy in exchange for my honest review.
I WAS NOT READY 😩🔥 Caught in His Web by L.M. Whitley has me in a CHOKEHOLD. First of all — if you haven’t read the previous books, what are you doing??? This is not a standalone. We jump RIGHT back into the chaos with Felix, the General, and Madison and I ate up every second. WESLEY??? The British accent in my head the entire time 🫠 The way he sees Madison for the first time and thinks, “my ideal weight to lift is whatever hers is” ?! SIR. IM UNWELL.
Madison being confident in her body and owning it? We LOVE a self-assured queen. The flirty chats? The tension? The actual dating moments? I was giggling and kicking my feet one second and fanning myself the next. And the BANTER! Dimitri. Mac. Wesley. Absolute chaos trio energy. Add Nicole and Eleanor and it’s giving unhinged but make it family. I didn’t know I needed those dynamics this badly. Fast pacing. Spicy BDSM. Emotional flashbacks (Wesley why did that hit like that??). Found family vibes. I’m actually sad it’s over because I loved ALL OF THEM. So grateful I got to be on the ARC team for this one — thank you to the author for the opportunity 🖤 If you love: 🔥 possessive energy 🔥 body-confident FMC 🔥 British MMC 🔥 banter that makes you scream 🔥 spice with plot This one’s for you.
If you’re not reading Caught in His Web from The Hitmen of Ulysses by L.M. Whiteley**, what are you even doing???
This is Book 3 and it is OFFICIALLY my favorite.
Wes. Tatted. British. Tech genius. Professional hitman. Full-time snack goblin.
His humor?? Elite. Unhinged in the most lovable way. I have loved this man since Book 1 and his story delivered in every possible way. Underneath the sarcasm and nerd energy is so much emotional depth, and watching him fall?? Inject it into my veins.
And Madison??? A sassy, tatted, edgy Latina with green in her hair who does NOT take crap from anyone. She’s brilliant, independent, and used to handling her own problems — which makes their dynamic so good because neither of them is backing down.
Two tech geniuses. Two sharp tongues. One hitman team that I am now emotionally employed by.
The banter gets better with every book. I laughed out loud. The found family is immaculate. The romance feels real.
If you want dark romcom vibes, morally gray men with elite one-liners, and a found family you’d help hide a body for — this is your series.
There’s just something about being back in the world of Ulysses that hits every time! As always, this crew is chaotic, hilarious, and more unhinged than ever. And I’m obsessed!
Wes has been THAT guy for me since the first book. He’s the smart, sexy tech wizard, and being in his head this time around made him even more swoony 🥵 Confident, protective, hilarious, and so full of heart. And he definitely met his match in Madison.
“Mac..She’s the person I didn’t realize I was waiting for.” 🥺
Enter Madison. She is sassy, sarcastic and a total baddie and we LOVE HER! Especially for Wes. She definitely matched his energy and kept him on his toes from the jump. I loved their chemistry and was addicted to seeing their crazy, messy, sexy story unfold.
L.M. Whiteley just knows how to build characters you fall hard for. The friendships and the banter will always be my favorite!
It’s so bittersweet to say goodbye to this series, but this was an ending worth waiting for.
I absolutely loved this series. This one was the third book in the series about Wesley, the hacker of their hitmen trio. I thought this book was special because it included the a very real issue about mental health medication and the effects it has on your sex life. In this book it discusses how her meds keep her from finding her climax usually but Wesley loves a challenge and man does he deliver. He is a dominating, protective man like the other two in their team but he knows Madison is a hands on girlie. He struggles giving up control but they eventually find a good balance. I love that they had a relationship before they meet in person. My favorite quotes are: "I'm strong and that's just how I like to flex it. Hell, that's why i got strong- my ideal weight to lift is whatever hers is" and "When you're a depression/anxiety girlie and it's hard to cross the finish line, it turns something that should be fun into a bit of an ego minefield."
Wesley and Madison have my whole heart. Their friends-to-lovers journey is everything, and their dynamic is so perfectly balanced. Madison’s funny, bold, and bratty personality pairs so sweetly with Wesley’s steady presence, making their relationship both entertaining and emotional. Watching their connection grow over the trilogy was incredibly rewarding. One of my favorite parts of this series is how Mac, Eleanor, Dimitri, Nicole, Wesley, and Madison all come together and form one big, loving found family. The friendships, loyalty, and support between them added so much depth and warmth to the story. Honestly, I loved all three books so much that I couldn’t even begin to pick a favorite. Each one brought something special, and together they created an unforgettable journey. This trilogy was emotional, exciting, romantic, and full of heart. I cannot wait to see what L.M. Whitely has in store next—I’ll definitely be reading!
I was so excited to finally get this Arc, and it did not disappoint! Wesley has always been my favourite, so I was so excited it was finally his time to shine. He became everything I hoped for and more, and I ended up loving him so much more even!!
And Madison gosh I adored her!! She was so intelligent, bratty, sharp, and funny! I truly adored her so much. Her chemistry with Wesley was also just so good and cute! I also loved seeing the other guys and their amazing girls again. It felt like coming home again to be honest T-T
This was easily my favourite book in the series, though the entire series will always have a special place on my shelf and my heart!
Also, L.M. Whitely, please give us Dimitri’s Google Doc 🙏🏻🙏🏻 His wisdom is just too good hahah If you enjoy dark romance with humour, hitmen and plus size girlies, I seriously cannot recommend this series enough!!
The banter between Wesley and Madison? Top tier. Sharp, witty, flirty without trying too hard — it felt natural and effortless. Their dynamic had that perfect mix of tension and teasing, and I was fully invested in every single interaction. You can feel the pull between them, and it makes the emotional moments hit even harder.
One thing I’ve really appreciated about this whole Hitmen of Ulysses trilogy is that somehow each book gets better. And this one is definitely my favorite. The stakes felt higher, the emotions deeper, and the relationships more layered. It didn’t just rely on action — it built on everything that came before it in a way that made the payoff so satisfying.
Overall, Caught in His Web completely delivered for me — chemistry, banter, emotional depth, action, and that found family warmth woven throughout. Definitely a standout, and proof that this trilogy just keeps leveling up.
This was a bitter sweet end to our hitman of Ulysses .. Wesley and Madison story was the chefs kiss to the ending . Not only that Wesley is everything you thought and think him to be . Madison is sassy and fierce and I love how she is such a baddie . The plus side rep and also the representation of what is not spoken of when some one with anxiety takes medication. Wesley had me fanning myself like Blanche from golden girls haha . Lm Whitley absolutely nailed this book this whole series . She is by far the queen of banter !!!
Tropes Hitman Friends to lovers Forced proximity Group banter Banter between mmc and fmc Stalking/obsession Plus size representation Hacker fmc and mmc Dark rom-com
Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Let’s just say soooo worth it , grab something to fan your self with haha
Well, this was another chef’s kiss by the author. This was book three and the final book of the Ulysses Hitmen series. It did not disappoint. I have throughly enjoyed this series, but sad to see it go. I have loved the characters , their missions, the banter and found family aspects. If you are looking for spice, danger, a little violence, recon missions, new friendships, lots of funny banter then this series is a must have for you to jump into! This is the story of Wesley, the computer guru and Madison, the computer hacker that finds themselves drawn to each other and to trouble? Will they get out alive, will they find love and will they need help from friends to complete this mission? This author knows how to capture your attention and keep you engrossed. This book was hard to put down.
I have been waiting for this book and it did not dissapoint! The hitmen of Ulysses and their love for their curvy women! Finally the story of our 3rd hitman Wesley. The story of Wes and Mads had me hooked from the start. Our british tech genius and sassy Maddison was a match made in heaven. I loved the story of how they came together and how different it was from both Mac and Dimitri. The found family aspects really shone through in this one as well. The banter and quick wit had me chuckling throughout; Wes definitely met his match with Mads. ❤️ Everything about this story had the group coming together and gave me that warm fuzzy feeling. Seeing more of Wesley's character has been something I have been desperate to see and I was giggling and kicking my feet at this one. This book has 100% confirmed that Wes is still my favourite hitman!
Oh my goodness!!!! The Mads/Wes combo was more than I even hoped for!!! The banter, his quick wit, her mouth, it was amazing chemistry! 💥 I didn’t want this book and series to end! The way Lynn writes is a pleasure to read, it’s flows, the vibes are there! Loving how this story started, how the other characters from books one and two were inner twined and the exchanges between them. The spice been Mads and Wes will get your attention!!! Hitman and Hacker, both having secrets and afraid to share. To journey alone with them on their fear conquering, steamy relationship is one of my favorites! If you haven’t started the Hitmen of Ulysses get it picked up asap! I cannot recommend this series enough and cannot wait to see what she gives us next! Thriller and thankful to be an ARC reader for this series!
I absolutly LOVED!!! going back to ulysses and getting to know Wesley better and meeting Madison. I LOVED her so much. She was fierce, strong, and a lot of fun! Their banter was perfect! 😂 And how Wes just lost his "cool calm collected" control over her 🤭 Their chemestry was on fire and Wes was such a good partner 🤌🏼🥹 the plot really thickened and I was literally stuck to my kindle all day, could not put it down 😍 Getting to see the caracters from earlier books again was so good and it feels bittersweet for the series to end. It was FUN, hot!!! Intriguing, exciting, heartfelt, and lovely 🥹
Tropes: Friends to lovers Plus size FMC Hacker × 2 Cutest cat😻 Stalking Amazing banter Found family ❤️
ARC review: L.M Whiteley does it again. Caught in his web is the conclusion of the Hitmen of Ulysses series. We get to explore the story of hitman #3 Wesley. Our bad boy, tech nerd, British DOM and his own little spider, Madison. The sassy, adorable, tech wiz and curvy Latino brat and their growing relationship over two years. The banter , connection and heat between this two is 🥵. The storyline bring a wonderful conclusion from book 1 and includes are your other favourite hitmen. This story had me kicking my feet all through the read with a few surprising twists. I dragged the reading out as I didn’t want it to end. Can’t wait for the next series and new characters
Favourite quote: “It’s always been you-long before we met in person. For me, it’s only ever been you.”
An amazing dark romcom featuring a sassy, smart‑mouthed FMC and an alpha MMC, with the perfect online‑friends‑to‑lovers arc. Wesley and Madison’s connection is absolutely relationship goals. Their banter is sharp, addictive, and so well‑timed that—even though I’ll always have a soft spot for Dimitri (Kept in the Dark)—Wesley has officially stolen the top spot for me. The chemistry between them is off the charts, matched only by Madison’s strength and stubborn resistance.
Caught in His Web is the perfect finale to this incredible trilogy, leaving you completely satisfied with where life is headed for the hitmen of Ulysses and the family they’ve built.
If you love a dark romcom, you need to read Hitmen of Ulysses.
If you have read the first two books in the series, you will not want to miss this one!
I have loved Wes throughout and could not wait to get to his book. I had always looked at him as a cuddly teddy bear, but he is actually quite domineering. The FMC of Madison is my favorite of the entire series! She is a plus-size Latina woman who knows exactly how to put Wesley in his place.
We still have the same hilarious camaraderie throughout this book from the whole crew. Most of the time, with Dimitri being the butt of the joke. I really enjoy the friendship between all these characters.
The ending of this book wrapped the series up nicely with POV's from each character. Definitely a 5-star read!
Ending this triology was bitter sweet. I loved every second of this book. Wesley is the quiet, nerdy, hacker that stays behind the scenes while the other hitman are in the field. However, he is every dark romance girl wet dream. He’s obsessed with his girl, dominant, and possessive. He also loves giving ‘hand necklaces.’ Madison is a feisty, anxious, plus size beauty with no filter. Her brat behavior is no match for this dominant antics.
This’s book is medium paced and the plot was well written and thought out. The author really brings the characters to life and you can picture every scene, just like a movie. I’m sad it ended but I hope the author brings us back to Ulysses.
I absolutely love this series and everything about it. first off shout out to the author writing this entertaining, engaging spicy, hitman story involving the two nerds of the story. each one of these books follows a different person, so you could read these out of order but honestly reading them in order would be more beneficial. this one follows a girl that Wesley that has been chatting with on line but has never met. he gets a hit list and then finds out that she's on this list and now needs to find out why she's there, what she did or maybe what she has. will they be able to save her from all the stuff she got herself caught up in. the spicy between these two was off the chats too. if you love a good spicy hitman, adventurous, engaging story then this is for you. absolutely loved it.
Oh my gosh. I am so sad that the series is over. I found this series through TikTok and very quickly became obsessed.
With every book my love for these men got bigger and bigger.
Wesley, the man that you are. He is down bad for Madison, even before he knows she’s his spider he’s talked to for 2 years. Madison, you are the queen. Who doesn’t love a spicy little Latina queen??
I really enjoyed that the FMC was different from the others. She knew how she wanted to attack the situation and wanted to be side by side with Wesley instead of standing behind.
I am such a sucker for a very happy ending and there truly was not better way for these 3 couples stories to wrap up 💕💕
