He came home to save the ranch. He didn’t expect to lose his heart.
Theo Samuels never planned to return to his dusty hometown in Texas. But when his father calls him back from his post-SEAL life, he finds the Whiskey Ranch on the verge of collapse. He expected to spend his days balancing the books, but instead, he can’t take his eyes off Melinda.
Melinda Sanchez doesn’t do complications, and her new boss is nothing but complicated. Brooding, built like a linebacker, and carrying more baggage than a rodeo caravan, Theo is not the type of man she needs in her life. But he’s also kind, loyal, and infuriatingly hot. And when danger threatens her, Melinda learns Theo is a man who takes what he wants without asking questions.
In this fast-paced, insta-love novella, sparks fly as a tough-as-nails SEAL and the woman who sees everything about him discover that sometimes, love shows up when you’re too busy trying to keep it away.
Action. Heat. Heart. Welcome to Texas.
This book is a short read you can finish in a lunch hour. It’s full of laughs, heat, and over the top situations. The SEAL’s Employee is a fun read, not meant to be taken seriously. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a good laugh in Summer Ridge.
This is the first book in the Summer Ridge Series and a great start to the series. You'll enjoy Melinda and Theo's story. It's a quick read with a lot of punch and insta love. A fun read that will keep you laughing. No cliffhanger and an HEA. I read a free book via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
Melinda and Theo's story is a great opener for this new series. Theo was a bit much for me but he knew what he wanted and he would move heaven and earth to get it. This quick read will entertain you and the added suspense will surprise you.
It was a quick read but I felt like it jumped around and was very hard to follow. I almost didn’t finish it but because it was only 10 chapters I pressed on. I love a good quick story but I felt like the writing style and storyline did not work for me.
