This one’s part of my top-tier audiobook for the year! When I tell you, I didn’t think it there anyway possible this series could get any better since the first book was amazing! However I was wrong lol This one took me on the journey of surprises it’s amazing
The plot takes you on such a wild ride. Everything connects to the 1st book, you have to read or listen to the first one to understand what’s going on in this one. Just when you think some side characters don’t play a part in this series, they absolutely do! Every detail is important. It’s possibly one of the best storylines planned out. You get so much answered & yet you still have questions in the best possible way. Once you listen you’ll understand why lol.
The performance from the narrators savanna Thomas & James Cassidy is phenomenal. Not only does the storyline keep you interested, but the narrators do a fantastic job of voicing it making you feel the emotions of never wanting it to stop! You guys are amazing & some of my favorite voice actors♥️
The author M.L burns does a fantastic job of showing & telling you exactly who these characters are & why. Trust me when I tell you she left no breadcrumbs with this one, even if she did, it’s by choice lol. I can’t wait to read more of your books!!
You go through emotions of 🤨😅😆🥰😗😭😄😂🧐🤯😡😭 Yes, at one moment I was like What the F! But in a good way lol it adds character to the story.
What to expect from this story: romance, friendships, found family, cute cat, lots of drama and trauma of a sort, “touch her and say bye bye” “she’s mine” vampires along with supernatural vibes, & spice lots & lots of spice.
1000 times yes! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s into dark romance & supernatural, or watched shows like True Bloöd, TVD, TO, & other shows with similar vibes.
Fair warning this one will make you feel emotionally damaged but in a good way 😊

Back with the audiobook review and holy shit what an experience it is to listen to Savannah and James bring these characters to life once again!!! This is Xera & Kai and I will hear zero criticism about it! 👏🏼 Infinity stars! ⭐️
I’m beyond sad to be done with this duet but so excited there is more to come in the filthy world!

Mel knocked this one out of the park! AYBL is one of my all time favorite books and I was hanging on for dear life to get this second book in my hands and right away it brought those feelings back and I was immediately sucked in and obsessed!
I didn’t think I could love Xera and Kairyhse anymore but I stand corrected.
Holy shit the connection these two have, literally ride and dies!!! You can’t help but smile, cry, laugh, get angry all at the same times they do.
And that’s what I love about Mels writing. She can pull you right into the book and have you get lost. & when I say cried, I mean I was a blabbering mess and couldn’t even see the words on my scene that I had to take a break! Mel has pictures of proof 😭😂
It was quite the emotional roller coaster.
Kai continues to be THAT shadow daddy and Xera is THAT bitch (the best kind)! When Mel told me this had “more shadows” she is not joking 😮💨
And no matter what is thrown Xera’s way, she’s ready to give it back 10 fold.
She will forever be one of my top favorite FMCs!
I have to give a shout out for Mister 🐈⬛ too! Fucking love that kitty so much and bawled my eyes out at the twist that happened!
The plot to spice was so perfect and I absolutely loved how the story for these two was closed but yet set up for some new characters in this world *evil laugh while rubbing hands together* muahahahah I cannot wait for what’s to come!

This book took me by surprise over and over again! I left all my other reads because I needed to know how this story kept going!
The performance was even better than the first book. I could listen to James Cassidy all day every day 😮💨

Phenomenal. Astonishing. Magnificent. Exceptional. Those words barely scratch the surface of how powerful this book - and this performance - truly is.
This duet owns a piece of my soul I’ll never ask for back. M.L. Burns gave us a beautifully heartbreaking yet fiery conclusion to Kai and Xera’s story. The way she wove such a gut-wrenching, soulful plot with searing spice is nothing short of masterful…something that should be studied in writing classes.
I don’t think I’ll ever recover. Saying goodbye to these characters felt like saying goodbye to a part of myself, because I fell head over heels in love with them.
And the narration…wow. Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy deserve awards. The raw torment, the aching lust, the emotional weight they brought it all to life in a way that left me breathless more than once. Their chemistry is nothing less than an audiobook dream.

This conclusion to the filthy duet was GOD TIER!!
ML Burns took us on an intense ride and it hurt but it was worth every minute.
Savannah Thomas voiced Xeraphine as-well as all other female characters and she was mind-blowing each one was so different and it really showcased how truly talented she is. Savannah truly unbodied and became Xera she really delivered the pain and hurt that Xeraphine experiences along with the fierceness of her and the determination and the flirty tones and the totally badass female energy!! Xeraphine is out for revenge and Savannah really made this shine through her performance. I also loved her voice choice for Sydni it was so sweet and soft and I just love her so much!!!
James Cassidy voice Kai along with other male characters and he was nothing but perfection. My first narration of his was Kai and I have being hooked ever since!! The way he delivered Kai hurt but grumpiness and then love and swooning toward Xera he just was WOW!! Also the voice for Mister was everything I loved it so much! James showcased how talented he was with all the different voices he delivered all with different tones and deepness in the voice.
This was perfectly casted I would like to thank ML Burns, Savannah Thomas, James Cassidy and Blue Nose for making me fall in love with this story and feel so deeply for these characters..
I give this a standing ovation. 👏

There is no word to adequately express how this audiobook made me feel!
Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy absolutely nailed their performances!! Their voices brought Xera and Kia to life like no one else could!! From crying to laughing to absolute rage all within just the first few chapters; this book had me on an emotional roller coaster when I read it and now the audio has only made that emotion all the more intense.
After listening to the book so many things became clearer. The fact that this "series" or in fact world will continue is a given, with so many new characters and types of Dylox.
Each fight scene tremendously well scripted and choreographed by the author and both narrators. I can't say enough good things about this book, the author and her catalog of work, or these two narrators who brought this book, world and couple to life!!

I wasn’t really a fan of this book, I truly enjoyed the first book but this one didn’t do it for me.
I did not like that Belial’s ‘punishment’ was rape, why is this chick always being raped?
The back and forth in the story, pissed me off. I know we had to find out how the deals were made but it was over done and annoying constantly going back and forth in the storyline.
Sydni became annoying, if you listen to the audio book, the voice the narrator uses to portray Sydni is ridiculous.
I am a fan of FFM, I think more reverse harem books should focus on some FFM. In saying that, I am unsure of what the point of Xera, Kai and Sydni getting it on, it provided absolutely nothing to the storyline for me. It was hot and spicy, but I was unsure what the point of it was.

All Your Deadly Truths is book 2 in the Filthy Duet and it’s even more amazing than All Your Bloody Lies. I was so excited to see Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy came back to finish this duet. Savannah and James were the perfect choice for narrators to bring this bloody filthy book to life. We get to follow Xeraphine and she deals with more super dark things - check the trigger warnings carefully. Kairhyse is still absolutely obsessed with Xeraphine and stops at nothing to find her. I really thought there way no way that All Your Deadly Truths could be better than All Your Bloody Lies but I was so wrong. All Your Deadly Truths was just so freaking amazing I binged the hell out of it.

Omg! What an epic conclusion to Kairhyse and Xeraphaine's story! ML Burns wrote a fantasy place I want to stay in forever! The character development was very well written and you selected excellent narrators for their story. James Cassidy as Kairhyse was perfect! I could listen to him call me little demon forever. His voice as Mister was so good. Cats can be stuck up animals, so his voice being so posh made me giggle. Savannah Thomas put so much emotion and sass in Xeraphaine's voice. She had me laughing but made me cry big sobs. The vulnerability in her tone wretched at my heart. Overall, this is a great story and I can't wait for Kayn!

Book 2 is so much darker than book 1. I did feel like some of the spicy scenes were added just to give more spice. I also got kind of annoyed with Xeraphine around the middle when it kind of felt like she was giving up and she kept saying she was just so tired. Girl you have been a badass b*tch this entire series and now all of a sudden when you discover it’s been your mother this entire time you’re ready to give up?! That didn’t make sense to me. But she pulled her big girl thong up and got it done in the end.

The narrators did an absolutely incredible job bringing these characters to life. ML Burns wrote these amazing babies into this incredible story, and Savannah and James really brought the words Mel wrote and brought them out and made them feel so real. The production was amazing, the writing was top tear, the emotion was NEXT level and I just am so grateful I got to experience this. My ears thank you

This duet had me in such a chokehold. The sheer brilliance of it had me in constant awe. I laughed I bawled I swooned and felt that spice. This is one of those series that you just have to experience to fully understand the magnitude of its awesomeness. Savannah and James…no words can justify their brilliance in performing this book. Just listen to the Filthy duet and you won’t be sorry. You’ll experience many emotions but disappointment won’t be one of them.

this was significantly darker than AYBL and really had me questioning if I could get through it, but the story & characters grip you so hard, you'll want to finish it - or it might finish you :)

This book, the series and the narration were absolutely brilliant, (please can we have more M L Burns books by Blue Nose I'd binge them all) it is dark so one to check TW for before diving in, but for me it was an easy 5 stars, I loved both main characters and how the story evolved and concluded was perfection, and to get to the end and realise there will be more to come in this universe eeek!
