Boston: A Young Brothers Novel

Rate this book
Boston Simpson has finally found his place managing group events at the prestigious Silver Sage Mountain Lodge in Coral Canyon. Between coordinating celebrity hunting trips and exclusive mountain getaways for the rich and famous, he's built a reputation for handling the details that make dreams come true. But even with a loving stepfather and the whole Young family behind him, something's still missing in his life.

Enter Cora Silver, the lodge owner's daughter who's returning to take over the family business after years in Miami's corporate world. She's smart, capable, and completely out of practice with country living—something that becomes obvious when she loses control of her horse during an afternoon ride.

When Boston comes to her rescue, sparks fly faster than a Wyoming windstorm. But falling for the boss's daughter could jeopardize everything he's worked for, and Cora isn't sure she's ready to admit that the handsome cowboy six years her junior might be exactly what she needs to feel at home again.

Between planning exclusive events, navigating family expectations, and trying to keep their growing attraction under wraps, Boston and Cora discover that opposites don't just attract—they might be perfect for each other.

But can Boston overcome his fears of not truly belonging to the Young family so he can build his own? And will Cora find the courage to embrace both her roots and her heart without losing her inheritance?

I was excited to get to read a new installment in the Young Brothers series. Boston, Mav’s stepson, has appeared here and there in other books in the series but he has mostly been in the shadows. In this book Boston steps into the spotlight as a capable and responsible 24 year old man who works as an event manager at a prestigious hotel and resort in Coral Canyon. He loves his job because it allows him to take groups of well-heeled guests horseback riding or on hiking or hunting trips in the beautiful mountain country surrounding the lodge. Boston’s eye for detail also makes him sought after for managing the fancy weddings and parties of the rich and famous held at the resort. Boston’s attention has been caught by his beautiful new boss, Cora, who recently moved back home from Miami to take over running the resort from the owner, her mother who is retiring. He is not sure it’s a good idea to pursue her but his heart begs to differ and Cora is hard to resist. I love the way the author features one character from the Young family at a time but she sprinkles in a lot of news about the other family members. And because the Young family is so close, it’s easy to do since they hang out together so much. Family politics can be tricky but love covers over a multitude of sins, right? I think you could read and enjoy this book as a standalone but you will appreciate the story so much more if you start from the beginning. You don’t want to miss any of the drama or the fun. Highly recommend! I received a complimentary copy. All opinions expressed are completely my own.

Another unforgettable Young brothers story that I couldn’t put down!
Boston Young is working at the Silver Sage Mountain Resort. He loves the mountains, the work, and the peace it brings—but he’s ready to find someone special to share it all with.
Cora has been forced to come home and fulfill her family duties. However, her return is anything but graceful—especially when a runaway horse and a near disaster put her directly in the arms of the most striking man she’s ever seen.
Boston finds himself rescuing the most beautiful women he has ever seen, but before he can get her name or find out if she is a guest, Cora (embarrassed and flustered) races off.
When Boston discovers that the mystery woman he rescued is none other than his new boss, sparks fly. Despite the awkward start—and the complicated dynamic—neither of them can ignore the connection growing between them.
Boston quickly discovers the women he rescued is his new boss, but despite the complicated dynamics both Cora and Boston are willing to give this spark a chance.
With all the heart, humor, and warmth of the Young family, this story brings familiar faces
As always, the other Youngs are included in this book, so we can catch up with what is going on with all of them.

Loved it! Boston is one of the older cousins from the Young Brothers families. Like the others in this series, he wants to find his place in the family and in Coral Canyon. He finds it at Sliver Sage Lodge with the “boss”. Cora returns home from Miami to take over from her mother who is retiring. She never expects to find someone to love---and a cowboy at that! Liz Isaacson does a wonderful job exploring the feelings of siblings and cousins that feel like they don’t fit when the younger children come along. I especially like how they all band together to create their own support group of encouragement and inclusion. I’m ready to go on some of the excursions from the Lodge! This is a standalone book. But I have read and love them all and reading the next book always feels like getting back together with family. If you like clean, inspirational stories about dedication to family and God—don’t miss this! You will love it!

Words can’t express how invested I am in the Young family. I absolutely love this series and try to read each book slowly to drink it all in!

Boston and Cora have a great story of how the busyness of life can keep us from seeing the good things right in front of us. Their families are so encouraging and give great advice, but Boston and Cora have to come to terms in their own hearts to find their way back to each other.

There were 2 specific side-stories that I particularly enjoyed. First, the storyline with Bailey has me hoping that she’ll have a story coming soon. Her relationship with Bryce, OJ and her family is so complicated, and I sure hope she’ll find her place back in Coral Canyon! Second, chapter 17 is a hammock scene with Mav, Blaze and Jem. Such a precious interaction between 3 brothers who are struggling but have each other’s backs.

I could go on for days! Suffice it to say that this was another amazing installment to an incredible series!!!

A wonderful story of love, romance, family and emotional times. I love this series, the real characters, the family relationships and love. Boston is working at Silver Sage Mountain Lodge where he takes clients on tours. When Cora comes to work for her family company and loses control of her horse, Boston is there to rescue her. He is instantly attracted to her and has no idea she is his boss. I loved how their relationship formed as they worked together, there is an age gap, she isn’t sure about. They have struggles as they are both so busy with business but luckily it helps them realize the importance of communication. I love their cousin dinners. I love hearing about the family that we have grown to love and enjoy reading about. This is a great book, and I am already so excited for the next book in the series.

I loved this Christian contemporary cowboy romance. I can never get enough of Isaacson’s characters and I’m adoring this series of second generation romances. When his boss’s daughter comes back to take over operations, Boston and her have a heart pounding meeting and quickly become a couple. There is some high level flirting and the swoon is definitely buzzing in this one. I enjoyed their sweet moments. The eagles, the hiking, her dazzling shoes, and so much family and faith. Past characters and future mains all entwine together into a glorious story that I didn’t want to put down. There is an age gap but it’s not a large part of the story. This is a just kisses romance, intimacy level 2.

I received an eARC of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Boston may not carry the young name but this young man is a Young at heart. Boston is a hardworking young man who is much older than his years. This is a fun read with great characters. We see a lot of the Young family and enjoy a wedding. Cora has come back after being away for 10 years to run the company resort. She is young and ambitious and embarrasses herself the first day with a handsome man….Boston. I like how these two characters support and encourage each other. As in all the books there is something the couples must overcome to see they belong together. I really enjoyed the hiking and outdoor descriptive chapters with the wildlife. Boston is so much older than his years. He and Cora make a very believable couple and the book was great!!

I really loved this book. There’s a heart wrenching honest confession that really pulls on your heartstrings. And forgiveness. There are quite a few tear worthy scenes, so keep the tissues handy. We once again catch up with the Young family, which is always a treat. Cora and Boston are such a great couple right from the get-go, when even they don’t totally realize it. Definitely a book worth reading. Plus, I always love the preview of the next book in the series. It makes me count the days until it’s released. Don’t pass this book up! You won’t want to miss this one!! I Highly Recommend!!!

I LOVED this. Boston is so sweet, this book has it all, swoon, emotion, ups and downs, and EAGLES!!! Cora is Boston's polar opposite and 7 years her junior and yet they work! SO much to unpack in this book, there is the love story for Boston, which for me was awesome, and then the sweet and wonderful cousin relationship between Cash and Boston who are not even blood related, see I LOVE how with the Youngs, blood doesn't make family, love does! I loved seeing Baily in this book and hope she gets a happily ever after soon, but the main focus of this book was Boston and Cora, and if you love opposites, and you love sparkly shoes and fun outfits, This book is a 10 out of 10, forget 5 star!!

I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Boston Simpson works for Silver Sage Mountain Lodge as a guide and coordinating weddings and parties. His new boss is Cora Silver who is taking over for her mother. Boston meets her when her horse bolts and he stops it. Through their interactions they develop a relationship, but busy times and family situations interfere with their time together. A touching story about family, working together, making time for important things, and love.

Boston

Boston is working for Silver Sage resort and is checking the trail he will be using the next day to take the Silver family on a horse trail ride tour. Cora the soon to be new boss is riding her favorite horse Goldie when a loud sound startles her and she takes off at a gallop. Boston lassos the horse and saves Cora. She freaks out after she and her horse both calm down and she rides off thinking she will never see him again.

Love this series

I so enjoyed visiting with the Young Family again. I absolutely loved Boston and Coro's story. These two have an instant connection but aren't sure what to do about it. Their story captivated me from the beginning. This author just has a way of drawing me into her stories. I can't wait to read Cash's story

Boston

I have loved all the Young family books I have read. It is a fun journey to follow them right into the next generations. Boston and Cora must figure out how to relate to each other in light of family and responsibilities. Don't we all? A great read. I can't wait for the next one.

Boston and Cora, two people that are total opposites(which can prove the point that opposites do attract). I loved their story and the surrounding ones that pulled it together. Love the wedding of Adam and Joey of course, but this proposal took the cake- in front of a bear no less!

Boston's struggle with being a "Young" is so valid. Cora's struggle to find her "home" is so relatable. I love how relatable they both are. I love the cousin relationships and sibling relationships this series shows.
