Wilder Rule number one in any the president's daughter is off-limits. Emma Kane. Red hair, amber eyes, and a mouth that can cut glass. She hates everything about the MC world, especially the father who abandoned her. She even plans to become an FBI agent, for Christ's sake. I should keep my distance. Do my job. Remember my place. But when danger finds us, something primal takes over. I'd die for her without hesitation, kill without remorse. Now she's under my skin, in my blood, consuming my thoughts. The president's daughter and his soldier. A death wish wrapped in leather and curves. Emma isn't just another job. She's my obsession, my everything. And I'll burn the world down before I let anyone tear us apart.
Wilder's Promise is a short, sweet, and steamy small-town instalove romance with a happy-ever-after. It can be read as a standalone or together with the rest of the books in the Outlaw Order MC series.
With the club under attack by their rivals club President, Jackson orders his daughter Emma to come home for protection. Emma and Jackson have been estranged for quite some time so she comes reluctantly. Father and daughter are so far apart with Jackson running an MC and Emma going to school to be an FBI agent.
Wilder is sent to pick up Emma and its from then on that that a bond is formed. It may be quick but it is deep. Emma’s eyes begin to open to what her father and the club really stands for all the while Wilder and Emma’s relationship grows…but everyone knows that you don’t mess with the Prez’s daughter.
I can’t wait to read more from this series because each one have been page turners for me.
Did not like the FMC. Found it very difficult to relate to her. Understood her past but even so, her sarcastic comments when she hears her father stopped a sex trafficking ring made her seem like a spoilt brat.
A bit far fetched to expect that the FBI will appoint an agent whose father and partner are members of an outlaw MC!!!! Really?? Conflict of interests!!!
When Wilder is sent to pick up Emma, the daughter of his club’s president, his only mission is to keep her safe. What he doesn’t expect is to be completely captivated from the moment he sees her. Emma, however, has been carrying heavy scars—abandonment from her father, the hurt of a childhood she never got to fully have, and the bitterness that comes with being let down too many times. At first, it seems impossible for her to look past the walls she’s built, but Wilder understands those walls all too well. His own past was shaped by pain, and it was the brotherhood of the MC that taught him how to heal.
What really makes this story shine is the tenderness in the midst of chaos. Wilder doesn’t just protect Emma—he listens to her, encourages her, and gives her the space to be vulnerable. He helps her see that her father’s girlfriend Evelyn isn’t a rival but someone with her own struggles, and when the MC sets out to confront Charles and the Vultures, Wilder proves his loyalty not just to the club, but to Emma herself.
The slow unraveling of their connection feels both inevitable and forbidden—he knows it’s dangerous to fall for the president’s daughter, but he refuses to hide his feelings or diminish her dreams. That mix of courage, vulnerability, and raw honesty makes their romance one you root for from start to finish.
If you love MC romances that combine danger with deep emotional growth, Wilder’s Promise will capture your heart. It’s not just about surviving the threats around them—it’s about two wounded souls finding someone who finally sees them, scars and all.

Home is Where She Finally Found Happiness - Emma wasn’t pleased about her father’s call requesting she come back home for her safety, so she took it out on Wilder when he picked her up from the station, but her attitude towards him changed after he put his life on the line to keep her safe. However, Emma found herself spiralling after she heard about the changes her father’s life and she felt like an outsider when she returned to the clubhouse. Wilder on the other hand may not have been pleased with Emma’s behaviour, but he felt an inexplicable connection with her, that made want to do everything possible to make her feel safe.
Emma and Wilder found themselves spending time together, which ignited the sparks between them and led to ongoing passionate encounters. Unfortunately, Wilder and Emma had to keep their budding relationship a secret because of her father, that is until he found the courage to make her father aware of their feelings for each other. Luckily, Emma’s father finally gave them his blessing after Wilder managed to convince him of his true intentions, which led to them getting a chance to have the future they both wanted.
OMG! Zoey Rose had done it again with this gripping romance story, that had me on tenterhooks, anxiously waiting to see how the story would end. The characters were interesting and the passionate moments were exciting, but the drama and danger heightened my anxiety level with each pages turn of this definite must read book. I’m really loving the series so far and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Emma is dragged back to the town where her estranged-ish father is running the Outlaw Order MC. They've been involved in trying to clean up some vice activities in the town and Jackson is worried for Emma's safety. He sends Wilder to pick her up and be her minder, but Wilder slowly falls for her. Will she accept Wilder and mend her relationship with her father?
This is a short-ish book but has such an engaging plot, with some action/suspense and also a lot of touching moments that will tug at your heartstrings. I liked how all the emotions were so real - how Emma grappled with so many conflicting emotions, how she had to deal with what happened in the past, and how she tried to reconcile who she thought her father was with the man she slowly comes to know. At the same time, Wilder is there, strong, sweet and so swoony.
After I read this book I went to read Book #1, Reaper's Justice, and have also now read #3, Ghost's Revenge, and enjoyed both immensely! The characters are mostly broken but fit together wonderfully. It just goes to show the old adage rings true - everybody needs somebody. These books are about healing and moving forward, and finding happiness.

WILDER'S PROMISE is Book 2 of the Outlaw Order MC series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, forced-proximity, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her biker romance. Wilder is a 30-year-old hunky member of the Outlaw Order MC. Emma is the 19-year-old sassy, estranged, curvy daughter of the president, Reaper. When a rival MC, The Vultures, threatens Reaper and his family, he asks Wilder, aka Rex, to pick her up at the train station. Emma is upset about needing to come home as she feels her father and his MC are all criminals. The attraction is instant, but what will Reaper say? And can Wilder keep her safe? This couple had insane chemistry and we got a great HEA after the danger and drama. I loved it.
"What I am saying is that there are exactly two things in this life you can't outrun." He holds up one finger. "A bullet with your name on it." A second finger joins the first. "And love when it finds you."
I ate this book up. I swear, Zoey Rose has me in a chokehold with this series, because I loved this one just as much as the first. The forbidden-but-not-really tension between Wilder and Emma was chef’s kiss. Fast, fierce, a little unhinged in the best way, this novella gave me exactly what I wanted.
Wilder was tasked to watch his Pres' daughter Emma and from the minute he met her he was hooked. Emma has hated the MC world and having a rough relationship with her dad didn't help. There was something about Wilder that draws her and makes her start to rethink a lot of how she thought of the MC world. She never thought she would feel so safe but Wilder makes her feel safe and protected. This was a good book with non-stop action and the chemistry between these two was so much fun to read.
-A raw and emotional MC romance about Wilder and Emma, two scarred souls drawn together. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Their chemistry sparks against a backdrop of danger, loyalty, and forbidden love. Suspense keeps the pages turning, while tender moments bring heartfelt depth.
A gripping, action-laced story of finding someone who truly sees you. The connection between Wilder and Emma make enjoyable reading.
Wilder was given the job to protect Emma who is the Prez daughter. Emma wasn't happy with the MC life and her dysfunctional relationship with her father. When danger falls upon her, she rethinks her feelings about the MC and the feelings growing between her and Wilder. This intriguing story kept me glued to the pages.

The author has given us a fast-paced older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Wilder/Rex and Emma. The heartwarming story keeps us turning the pages with connection, denial, danger, realizations and steam.

Three stars because Emma really annoyed me, and I just couldn’t connect with her at all. It felt like she was way too hard on Wilder and her Dad throughout the book as well. But I loved Wilder and the rest of the MC group.
This is another good book by one of my favorite authors. I think the outlaw MC guys are all pretty good people at heart. I’m glad she and her father could work out a lot of their differences.
Emma was insufferable. I didn’t really feel a strong connection between her and the MMC. I didn’t vibe as much with this book because of the FMC was just annoying.
