2 ⭐️ it was okay. There were parts that were very mundane. Some areas went into too much details and some areas didn’t go into enough details. 🤷♀️
(Possible spoilers ahead)
H and h have a ONS after she broke up with OM. She wakes up and he’s already gone. Since h is BFF with H’s sister, she finds out he’s already left on deployment.
A short time later, h finds out she’s pregnant and H returns. (Not sure how he got out of deployment when he’s a navy seal)well, somebody is stalking h. I mean…..it’s absolutely NO SECRET who it is. It’s OM. H makes it’s his mission to protect h. She’s resistant because of him ghosting her after their ONS and the fact she’s BFF with his sister.
H does not know about the baby yet
There’s also a tiny bit of drama because H used to BFF with h’s brother until a woman came between them. 🙃 They actually work it out by…..sigh! By having an actual adult conversation.
H figures out h is pregnant and she admits it’s his baby.
They also do some type of “fake” engagement to throw OM off which does no good. OM still stalks.
H’s sister finds out and after the initial shock, she’s okay with the relationship
They cook a lot.
They have smex a lot
So OM is still stalking and causing drama by spreading around h is actually pregnant with his baby.
The way H and h went from fake to I LOVE YOU was drastic.
Then there is a whole section where H goes into joining in with h’s bakery business and helping her. Idk it was boring
H comes up with this solution to finally get rid of the stalker by getting a DNA test run to prove H is daddy (most normal people would assume he actually wants it done so he KNOWS FOR SURE ….but that’s not the way this is played out)
5 days later- H is daddy.
He does a real proposal and she said yes!
Stalker is arrested and sent to jail. She gives a victim impact statement.
She has the baby at 30 weeks.

HUH???
Good plot / story line & characters, but it seemed like there were parts in the book that repeated themselves and also some very confusing time lines as well as multiple names for her bakery, her last name, and other things. The time lines were a real issue, like her brother and Luke are supposed to have been best friends in high school (so they're the same age), her and Tessa are best friends since childhood and were "always glued to the hip" but she never met Tessa's brother (Luke, who was also her brother's best friend) til the were adults??? But then at one point in the beginning it said that they all used to hang out when they were teens? And also how the HELL would they not know each other's back stories and how each of there parents passed???

Sadie and Tessa, Luke’s sister, are best friends. Back in high school, Luke and Jonah, Sadie’s brother, were best friends until a girl got in the middle. Now that Sadie and Luke are together and having a baby, they have a lot of family and friendship drama to work through. Toss in a crazy stalker ex, and you have an enticing off-limits romance worth sinking your teeth into.

Strong in Love

A long time crush becomes a reality
I like the theme of this story As well as the characters and the way the Author writes. I didn't think I would read this all in 1 night but I did I just couldn't put it down it was that good. Let's start it out as a crush as a girl ends up being more than that thankfully. Of course you have to have a villain in every story and of course there is 1 self-centered righteous villain. But all in all everything comes together for this couple And I just love the way the author Maneuvered the story line.

Decent plot, very poor editing.
The more I read, the more confused I was getting. The characters are saying one thing, and then a chapter or two later saying something that doesn't fit or is completely different. Scenes backtracking like it was copy and pasted right into the middle of a different scene two or three chapters later. Characters that apparently have no idea what's been going on the entire book even though they've been aware of it the entire book just to make a scene more dramatic. And I wasn't even 50% through the book.

Surprise Baby For My Best Friend's Brother by Amelia Perry was a great read from start to finish. It was well written and had the perfect amount of steam and drama to keep you reading to find out what would happen. Enjoyed this story about Sadie and Luke. They had really strong chemistry and one night together will change their lives forever. If you enjoy a strong Navy Seal romance you will definitely enjoy their story.

lots of errors.
Had the potential to be a great story but there are several parts that seem like the author was trying to play with different ways for the story to play out and forgot to delete one. And there are lots of places in the story that makes the series of events hard to follow or that contradicts what was written already. Could use a lot of proofreading and re-working.

What an amazing story this turned out to be!! From the first page I was hooked. Luke and Sadie were fire and I was in for the ride. I've enjoyed Amelia Perry's books before and after reading this I can't wait to read more. Highly recommend.

So I really liked this book for the first half and then after that it really dropped off. For one, was it even edited? There was a chapter that repeated word for word at one point and then Sadie was 8 weeks pregnant for like a month. And at one point, they go to the doctors, where she once again says she’s 8 weeks pregnant and then in the next breath said the baby will be there in 4 months. It just felt like it wasn’t properly edited and got disappointing the more I read after about 48% through.

Loved reading the amazing and awesome romance story. After an unforgettable passionate night with Luke, Sadie wakes up alone and pregnant, and Luke comes back into town apologizing to Sadie. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read engaging story.

I found the plot was good and well developed.

I usually like surprise pregnancy books, but this one just went on and on and on. Instead of DNFing it, I just skipped to the last chapter so I could see the happy ending, but didn’t have to trudge through the whole thing. I guess that’s technically DNFing.
