Helo Willow Hawthorne is the love of my life—even if she refuses to believe it. I see the fear she hides, the secrets she carries, the walls she thinks will keep me out. But none of that matters. All I want is to prove that she and her son belong with me. And I’ll fight to prove they belong with me. That I can give them more than safety—I can give them a love that never lets go. Now the threat she’s been running from is here and it’s mine to face. They’re not alone anymore. If she’ll let herself trust me… trust us.
Willow This isn’t my name. This isn’t my life. But for my son, I’ll keep running, keep pretending, keep fighting to protect him. Until Helo. With him, for the first time, I feel safe. Seen. Wanted. He swears he can give us the life we deserve, one built on love instead of fear. Letting him in means risking everything. But safety is an illusion. The past always finds a way back. And this time I could lose more than the fragile peace I’ve built…I could lose the only man my heart has ever truly belonged to.
He was her safe place long before she knew she needed one. Now, he might be her only chance to survive.

This was my favorite addition to the Grovewood Ink series. Willow is such a strong FMC. I think I fell in love with her because of her devotion to her son. Beck is a hot MMC that would give anything to just be in the same room as her. Both of these characters are very deep and I highly enjoyed reading their story.
This book touched depths of my soul in didn't think could still be reached. It healed broken pieces of me that I didn't think could be fixed. It gives me hope for my future in soo many ways. This book made me feel seen and heard. The characters all brought something so beautiful to the story. The story itself is a masterpiece. I feel so blessed to have been able to consume this beauty. Thank you to the moon and back for this opportunity!
This book was so good!! In fact it was so good I finished it in one day! It kept me on the edge of my seat and it had me in my feels. Very heartwarming at the end!
love how each book in this series let's you dive deeper into new characters while still exploring the previous characters. you always feel like you're right there !
This book touched on some tough issues that were close to me. And I loved the way the author wrote how the FMC overcame everything that she’s been through. It gives hope to others in similar situations. I also connected with the FMC Willow with her son. I have a son who is turning 13 this month and his name is also Jaxon. I would go to the ends of the earth to protect him. He is my love and my light just like willows Jaxon is! Absolutely loved this book.
This book made me feel all of the emotions. I instantly fell in love with Helo and his obsession for willow AND love for Jaxon.
This dom daddy won my heart. He waited for a long time and even before he got Willow, he showed up and made sure she knew how loved, important and HIS she was…on top of How loved her son was, can you say YES PLEASE. He never once doubted their relationship even when she did. I guarantee this man.. this relationship.. will be healing to so many hearts. This man, is a dream come true.
Willow.. is strong, determined to protect what’s important to her and is just… a badass. Her parenting is goals and her love for Helo had my heart leaping.
Sage St. Claire never fails to make you fall in love and of course the smut is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This will always be my #1 favorite series.
If you’re still reading this review… STOP now and go read the entire grovewood ink series! You won’t regret it!!

I came across grove wood ink series by finding the first book in a lil bookstore that no one’s heard of. And I fell in love with each character. But Willow and Beckett; oh I felt close to home with Willow. I won’t go into spoilers but like me she gets her happy ending. I wish there was more but the way their story ended was well written off and potentially opens the door for more? 🫶🏻
Triggers of domestic abuse from chapter 1 but this is a story about perseverance and the deep love of a mother willing to do any and everything for her child.
Lily is a young mother who decides that enough is enough when it comes to her abusive husband. There was no way that she was going to be okay with her son becoming a victim of his father's, so she takes Jaxon and leaves, building a life far away from their abuser with a new identity of Willow. Now enter Helo, or Beckett, who is in her friend circle and from the moment he saw her, knew she was the one. He stops everything he is doing to help her whenever she needs it, handyman - check, tutor for her teenage son - check, protector at the local dance hall - check. Even though Willow knows and tries to do everything on her own, she still leans on Helo because she knows he will be there if she needs him.
After years of a slow-burn yearning for each other, will they finally give in?
Being a mother of four, three being boys and one approaching the age of Jaxon, I loved reading about the relationship between Willow and her son. The bond that they have formed because of their shared trauma is so precious and speaks to breaking that generational curse that boys end up like their fathers.
As far as Helo goes... where do I get one of these men?!?! Gorgeous, controlling in all the right ways, and loves Jaxon!! The man may have a dark past and do some shady things for a living but the love that he has for Willow and Jaxon knows no bounds.
Sage did an amazing job with making me feel so much for these characters and dare I say, leaves us with an ending that might mean that we get more of Mr. Daddy Dom?
**Side note: I have not read books 1-4 but that did not hinder me at all in reading and following this story. Will I go back and read the others because the characters had great banter... 100%!!! Seriously can't wait to go back and read the stories of all the family from Grovewood.
Once again, the author has sucked me in and made me fall in love with the characters of the book. I always said Breaker was my favorite, but he has a close second with Helo in this book. If you are looking for an amazing story that will pull at your heart strings at time, this is the book for you. This is book five in the series, you can read them standalone, but I've read them in order, so I got to know all characters as the series goes on. Willow has had a very hard life, and all she wants to do is protect her teenage son. Getting away from an abusive husband and finding solace in Grovewood, she has begun to find a place she feel safe. But her past shows up, threatening everything she has built, and it is up to her to protect the people she loves. This book will put you on the edge of your seat and will suck you in to want to read it all in one sitting. Read the trigger warnings if you have any before beginning. If you decide to read after being ok with the possible triggers, you won't regret falling in love with Helo and everything he does for Willow. He is book boyfriend material, and you will swoon over him as much as Breaker (book 3). The ending of the series is perfection. I look forward to seeing what Sage St. Claire brings us in the future.

Eeeek! I loved this small town romance so much! I loved all the characters and how dedicated they are to each other in making sure their families are taken care of. Mr. Beckett Hayes is a dreamboat of a man. He's got everything I want in a mmc. Willow is so fierce in the way she loves and makes sure her boy is taken care of. I love how relatable she is and I love how the author describes all her flaws and makes you care for her as well. She is one smokin hot momma! She takes matters into her own hands to protect those she loves. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I'm so excited! :) I'm ready to learn more about the rest of the characters.
I absolutely loved Bring Me Back. Nobody writes an MMC like Sage! Breaker has always been my favorite, but oooh, Helo is a very close second. 🥵 The story pulled me in from the very beginning with the perfect mix of heartache, hope, and romance. I love Sage’s writing style and the touch of suspense woven throughout. The characters felt so real, and I was completely invested in their journey. I also love the little updates and glimpses of favorite characters from past books, it makes the world feel so alive. An emotional, beautifully written read. Highly recommend!
Love every minute of this!! I was lucky enough to receive this as an ARC and I’m sooo grateful for that. Willow and Becks story is my favorite out of the entire series. As a DV survivor myself this story pulls at my heart strings. Willow is such a strong FMC, I loved her journey of taking back her power.
My first of Sinclair books and it won’t be my last! This was a fast paced novel that moved you through the life of a mother and son-both victims of DV to finding their safe place safe love she always deserved! Loved this!
I could not devour this book fast enough!! Just… wow! I loved the characters and storyline! Cannot wait to see were the grovewood ink series goes next!!
I had to sit on this review for a moment because this book hits home for me in so many ways.
Starting with this dedication "For the people who step up and prove that DNA doesn't matter, it's the love that makes all the difference. Just because you didn't create them doesn't mean you weren't born to love them" ❤️ As a woman who has been through similar trials in this book, it struck the heart cords a little and Helo and Willow will forever be dear to me ending Grovewood with a bang.
"You don't have to be tired anymore, pretty girl" - my heart.
Willow is such a strong and independent FMC, because obviously she has had no choice. She is determined not to have to rely on anyone, and her steadfast remains strong trying to protect her son. She has made a home in Grovewood over the years, made friends/fam with the grovewood crew but has guarded her lonely heart after such an abusive past. and our man Helo? The absolute patience this man laid on the table for her. He takes his time with her, he just wants to be in her presence, to be there for and her son. He has had eyes for her for years and while she turns to him when she needs someone, she has walls of steel up. But when things start getting sus, and the ghost of her past comes barreling back. She has no choice but to suck up her pride and rely on the one man she may be fighting feelings for.
This was such a great wrap up to one of my favorite series and im so excited for what comes next!!
