Is there a chance for Tessa and Ray?
When they meet, they both recognize the bond between them and that they are fated mates. However, that doesn’t mean they accept it so easily. Both of them fight against the bond. After all, Ray is only there in order to gain vengeance for his family and everyone he knew who was killed by the Bensons. Tessa is a witch and can sense there’s something going on with Ray she really doesn’t want any part of. The story is fast paced with the action really not stopping. There is plenty of danger and a few plot twists I did not expect. However this is a romance and there is plenty of that as well, complete with the heartfelt sigh at the end.

As a firefighter trying to prove herself and train rookies, Tessa had things under control in an unexpected restaurant kitchen fire when suddenly the floor beneath her caved in. A stranger pulled her out but disappeared before she could talk to him. The stranger is the new bartender that just makes her feel connected in a way that's never happened before. However this stranger is hiding a big secret: he's there to take revenge and kill her parents. These two people are thrust together in a winter storm. Can each of them overcome there pasts or will they throw away this opportunity? I couldn't put this book down and finished it in one sitting. Another great book in this series. Can't wait to read more.

The Curse
Ray is sent to destroy Tessa’s family, wipe them from existence. But one touch of Tessa and he knows he can never do it. That touch, that claim, he knows she’s his even though the Curse may destroy them. Sometimes you just have to trust the passion you feel, and fate!

This is book 2 of the series and can be read as a standalone but it is even better if read book 1 first. I enjoyed both books and do recommend

It's the next generation of Fated to the Lone Shifter. More alpha wolves, fated witches and firefighters. It's a great read. Can't wait for the next one in the series!
