Thomas Higgins goes down to Hollow Hills to pick up money from his long time military buddy, Dennis Moore. One week later, he died at a hospital after begin struck by a hit-and-run driver when changing a tire. The sheriff called it an accident but Linda, Thomas Higgins’ wife, believes different. She hires Alex French, Fayette County top private eye, to go to Hollow Hills and look for his friend, Dennis Moore. Two hours after French arrives in the small, town he finds evidence to proving Linda was right. It wasn’t an accident but cold-blooded murder instead. But there are others around the town who don’t want French poking around and wants him dead at all costs.
