Meanwhile, with Ty in one place—her space—for more than a few weeks at a time, Lara has to contend with that old high school crush that has a lot more to it than thinking his blue eyes are cute.

Both Lara and Ty have known disappointment and loss all their lives. Believing in something this good is going to take a miracle…

If you love a good friends-to-lovers romance, this one is for you! It's a fun one-night read that introduces you to Lara and Ty. They've been friends for life, but his baseball dreams kept him from Wild Rose Point and on the periphery of Lara's life. She liked it that way because, despite having strong feelings for Ty, she refused to put herself in the position of losing someone else she loved. She would rather be alone than feel that kind of pain again. When Ty returns for good, he decides to show her that loving someone doesn't have to be painful. Another great story from Wild Rose Point!
