An Irish Hope,Fairall Romance Legacy Book 2, by Carolyn Miller is a charming story set in Ireland. Aisling Fairall lives with her family at their hotel in an Irish castle. She just finished school and is wondering about her next steps in life Andrew Scott is visiting the castle that was the location of where his wedding was going to take place. His heart is wounded after being dumped and meeting Aisling does not seem like good timing. But is it God’s timing?

Aisling and Andrew are endearing characters who had my heart from the first page. It was a pleasure to watch them grow, mature, and figure out life. The romance, banter, and chemistry had my heart, and the Fairrall legacy of falling fast lives on. I devoured this sweet story.

The author masterfully weaves in faith into the book with themes of forgiveness, trust, and letting God write your story. I can not wait for the next book in the series and to return to Ireland I highly recommend this delightful story and this will be a 2026 favorite for me.

I was gifted a copy and not required to write a positive review.

Andy and Ash…these two had a lot of growing they needed to do. I appreciated that they were both believers who were trying to walk the paths that they thought God wanted them to. However, they both eventually realized that they needed to fully trust Him to work things out for good.

I, once again, loved the setting of the family castle turned hotel that Ash’s family ran. It was fun to see characters from the previous stories returning, however, I believe you could jump in and enjoy this story even if you hadn’t read about any of the previous siblings’ relationships.

This was a sweet, fun read with characters who had to evaluate where God was leading them and learn to “get out of their own way” and let God work.

It is such a treat to return to the Fairall family and to celebrate significant milestones with them. Mam always brings a smile to my face and seeing her care for her children sets the stage for much love and wisdom to abound. Having a mother who prays is powerful, as evidenced by how Colin, Rory, and now Ash are able to turn to God for His guidance when facing major life decisions. The Fairall family legacy of experiencing a noteworthy sensation when meeting the special person they will spend their life with adds a fun element without becoming superstitious or an idol. I appreciate that in the end, Ash surrenders her feelings instead of relying on them or forcing circumstances to bend toward her will.

It's equally delightful to meet Andy, a man who is as cautious as Ash is forthright and forward. With Andy learning how to exercise trust in his faith and Ash trying to demonstrate restraint and maturity, they complement one another's personalities and strengths. Carolyn Miller writes realistic characters with complex emotions and this book delivers just that through side characters such as Grady, Andy's friend, and Fiona, Ash's sister. Readers wanting to travel to a beautiful castle in Ireland will appreciate meeting a family who offers generous hospitality and a daughter who ends up with more than she hopes for by seeking God first.

An Irish Hope
Fairall Romance Legacy #2
By Carolyn Miller

Aisling Fairall is hoping for a story like her sister Rory and her brother Colin one that is directly related to the Fairall Legacy. A legacy that allows them to instantly recognize their one true love. The problem is making sure that their true recognizes them.

But right now Aisling is the sister of the groom in a wedding that shut down the hotel that is their family home. Well, except for two guests. One of whom is there celebrating (or mourning) the honeymoon that did not happen one year ago. Not that he minded getting dumped by the woman he thought he'd spend the rest of his life with. Or that her choice was his former friend and teammate. Nope nothing like that going on, but he is not going to let his heart or romance or anything else lead him down the path of romance anytime soon.

But an expected and untimely run-in with a redhead soon has him having trouble sticking to his promise to himself. But Andrew Scott's been down the path of love before and he is going to resist following it again, but there is something about Aisling.

Aisling was madder than a cat that had gone swimming when she and Andy ran into one another at her brother's wedding. Of course, that was before the family legacy let her on a little secret. But how do you convince a man who wants to avoid romance that he is destined to be your true love?

An Irish Hope is a Contemporary Christian Romance that features karaoke, too-helpful friends, a family legacy, clean romance, and trusting God. There are ups and downs and some definite bumps along the way as Aisling tries to determine what life and God have in store for her. This was a cute story that offers some depth and one that I would recommend.

I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations. All thoughts expressed are my own.

A charming story set in beautiful Ireland. The Fairall family owned and operated the Castle Griffin Hotel. Aisling Fairall had just finished her university studies and was going to be student teaching in the fall. But today was her brother‘s wedding and nothing could ruin it, or so she thought. Andrew Scott was looking out the window of his hotel room and had to chuckle at a beautiful vivacious woman trying to brush away something that had fallen down her cleavage. Unfortunately, she turned and saw him watching her out the window. From that moment on, they were constantly running into each other, but Andy had made a vow to God that he wouldn’t get involved with a woman for five years. This weekend should’ve been his one year Wedding anniversary. But unfortunately, that wedding never happened.
The story was so much fun and clever. The characters were highly entertaining and perfect for each other even though they couldn’t see it. I loved the tight relationships of the Fairall family, they always had each other‘s back. The story was sweet and swoony with passionate kisses and witty banter. It is a clean, wholesome Christian romance. One I highly recommend. It can be read as a standalone, but it’s so good you’ll want to read the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Aisling sees Andy looking at her from a hotel window and immediately feels a connection. They literally run into each other when Andy knocks Aisling down. Because Aisling’s family owns numerous hotels, including a castle, he feels she is out of his league. He also does not want to allow her into his life because of a vow he made to God. Was it really a vow God wanted or one to make Andy feel he was obeying God?

This story has very funny parts but also very serious ones. There are many Christian principles portrayed in this story, such as prayer, trusting God, family relationships, relationship with God, and His unconditional love.

Favorite quotes: (sorry, they were all so good)
“He is my Mr. Right, it’s just that he doesn’t/t seem to know it yet!”
“All I can say is that it’s important to keep trusting God, because He’s always working things out for our good.”
“God has come to set you free, Andy. Not just free from shame and guilt, but free to walk tall into the future God has for you.”

I highly recommend this very enjoyable and worthwhile book.

The Fairall family romance legacy strikes again!
“An Irish Hope” is a rom com combined with a big dash of emotion and angst from both main characters.
Aisling seems to hurtle from mishap to crisis to confused emotional mess. While trying to make a final decision on a future career, she helps out at her family's Griffin Castle hotel. Literally bumping into hotel guest, Andy, and her feeling of instant attraction makes her wonder if she is the next member of her family being targeted by the Fairall legacy.
After being dumped by his fiancée, Andy is determined to avoid romance for the next five years but is tested by his fascination with Aisling and, despite his inner doubts, spends an increasing amount of time with her.
Aisling and Andy are likeable characters who seem to veer between confidence and the simultaneous insecurities typical of young adults. A convoluted plot and circuitous route, with Andy’s friend, Grady, causing even more confusion, lead to a happy outcome. This is my voluntary review of an ARC I received from the author.

I so much enjoyed reading An Irish Hope. It captured the uncertainty of putting yourself out there in various ways, the joking, love and support of siblings and the strength of families, as well as individuals, who have built on the firm, immovable foundation of Christ. It doesn't shove Christianity down your throat, just shows how trusting God helps navigate the world. This started with some laughing-out-loud moments, followed by a great story line with action and situations that had me flipping the pages. This is the third book in the four-book series. It can be read as a standalone. I am, however, anxious to read Fiona's, the oldest sister's, story. She has appeared in cameos throughout the series, and my heart has ached for her.
Definitely a great series that had me cheering the siblings on as they found their spouses.

I loved this book! All the angst, awkwardness, and just plain cuteness between Aisling and Andy was so funny and peculiar that I laughed out loud more than once. It was so good to see the characters from the first book in the series make an appearance as well. Mrs. Fairall was one of my favorite characters - she had so much wisdom and strength in spite of everything she has been through. As always, I was encouraged by the author’s focus on biblical truths though this book was a bit more lighthearted. I highly recommend this book and book one, and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

The Fairall Legacy of Love is alive and strong with no respecter of persons or their attempts to avoid said legacy. Aisling is home after her college courses and ready to help at the castle, support her family, and figure out her next steps. She loves her family deeply and is thrilled as two of her siblings move on to their next steps, but she can’t help but feel a little untethered. I felt like this aspect of her character development was captured well. When Andy arrives, enter super fun meet cute, Ash knows something has shifted. Unfortunately, Andy has built some walls and made some choices that prevent his openness to truly moving on with an openness to relationships and love. While his buddy is not the best of friends, he does have Andy’s happiness in mind and can’t help meddling. I appreciate Andy’s intentionality and humanity as he too considers next steps in his life. It’s always fun to see family insert themselves and the inevitable nudges that come with it. I appreciated Ash being willing to step back and wait on the Lord for next steps. She may be open and opinionated, but she also wants what’s best and she’s willing to trust that some things are bigger than her. I enjoyed their differences (him being an athlete and her, well, not), their common interest (karaoke anyone?), and their likeness (using their gifts and talents to pursue the growth and development of others). If you’ve read the rest of the series, you get a good look at some updates on the family as well as taste of what’s to come for one other sibling. If not, you can still easily enjoy this one as a standalone.

Return to a castle turned hotel in the west of Ireland with Andrew as he tries to find his way in Carolyn Miller’s An Irish Hope. This faith-filled romance pairs free spirited Aisling whose family owns the castle and manages the hotel with Andy as they both are seeking direction for their lives.
Don’t miss An Irish Hope if you enjoy contemporary romances with Christian themes. This new addition to the Fairall Romance Legacy series is perfect for a reader who enjoys happy endings in an Irish setting. I eagerly await the next one in this series. Thank you to the author and the publisher for my review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

So many memorable characters, so many memorable plots, make up this story set in Derryloughlin with Castle Griffin Hotel an integral part throughout. Who was the guest interloping on what should have been a family only affair? And why did Aisling’s heartbeat increase with each interaction? Was it at all possible the Fairall legacy mantle would be hers or was she doomed to heartbreak and a solitary life? Entertaining, emotionally charged story!

This is book #2 in the Fairall Romance Legacy series but can be read as a standalone book.

Ash and Andy try to avoid falling in love but end up just doing that anyways.

Healing from the past and becoming what God wants you to be are two things this story touches on.

Can't wait for the next book in the series.

This was a sweet story, focusing on one of the Fairall sisters, who we met in An Irish Kiss. The story of Aisling becoming an adult, feeling torn about her future and confused about a new man in her life. Aisling is a delightful character, with a fun personality! Such a cute story, a delightful read!

This is a fun romcom with a nice balance of tension and lighthearted moments. I enjoyed the God-incidences throughout and the way these inspired growth in Ash and Andy, as well as advancing the plot.
If you enjoy romances which feature faith, awkward interactions and karaoke duets, this book will be sure to make you smile.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest perspective.

An awkward meeting between a feisty red head and a former almost Olympic runner turns into a book filled with twists, turns, karaoke and realizing what it means to rely on God.

There were times I cried and others that I giggled. This is a great 2nd book in this series and I can't wait for the 3rd to come out!

Loved the banter, working through misunderstandings, and learning to trust God. The insta-love trope is not my favorite, but the author made it work. Carolyn is an automatic must-read for me.

An Irish Hope is book two in the Fairall Romance Legacy trilogy. Aisling (pronounced Ashlynn) is the youngest, recently graduated from uni and uncertain to do with life so she continues to work at her family’s Irish castle which is now a resort. Andy’s fiancée dumped him a year ago, and he has run out of time to use his credit at the castle resort where they were supposed to honeymoon. Brief eye contact at a very awkward situation unleashes the family romance legacy on Ash, but Andy has sworn off women.

Ash and Andy are a delightful duo trying to avoid falling in love with each other. Ash has a lot of maturing to do, emotionally and spiritually. Andy has to recognize that not every woman is his ex and that just because an idea comes in his head, it doesn’t mean God put it there. This is a story about healing, listening to God speak, becoming who God intended you to be, and love of family.

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to clean romance readers.

This is Christian fiction so expect prayers and discussions of faith.

Family friendly though.

This was another rich story from Carolyn Miller. Ash and Andy's story is fraught with difficulties. At least when they are approached from the human viewpoint. But when they begin to turn those difficulties over to God, things smooth out. It is not a perfect, because life isn't, but it becomes smoother and they become stronger as they rely more on God and each other. The story is one that I adored. The personal lessons - don't hold onto anger, seek strength from the Lord, trust others, friendship is precious - are ones we all need to learn, or remember. The way we see this friendship grow is lovely. To find your strengths, your talent, and to know it is according to God's plan, that is the fact of this story that is precious.

My favorite line - "...just because things didn't seem to be working out the way she wanted, didn't meant that God wasn't still working." This sums up this purpose of this story. And the overcoming of the story? Well that one is this quote "...was risk just another way of saying almost trusting God?" Trust is not risk and that was brought forth beautifully in this story.

I know this review focuses a lot on the growth of the characters in their faith and that is because that is where we see them able to become the people that could fall in love and trust one another. Without that growth in faith, we wouldn't see characters capable of a beautiful love story. God is tied to every part of our lives and this story points to that wonderfully.

Carolyn Miller's stories are rich, full of characters that mimic real people, and faith-building. They are worth every minute to read. And re-read. Over and over. This is book 2 (book 3 if you include The Lost Daughter's Irishman, the story of the Fairall brother) and it is really good to read The Lost Daughter's Irishman and An Irish Kiss prior to this. But it is a wonderful story without that and strong as a stand-alone.

I received an ebook copy of this title from the author. All opinions are my own.

This contemporary romance set in Ireland but with characters from across the world is a delightful read. I don’t normally enjoy books where communication problems or a lack of communication causes problems, but this is written in a way that lets the reader in to see these will not last. Characters received wise advice from others and all ends happily. The beautiful Irish setting and culture is portrayed so one can picture it.
Also enjoyable is the depth of characters, the way they are honest about their flaws and elements of faith they experienced.
Looking forward to reading more about this Fairall family.
