Christmas Gifts: The Sapphire Necklace
As teenagers, best friends Ava, Lily, and Ella make wishes by tossing coins into a strange wishing well in Rome, Italy during their high school graduation trip. They each wish for their heart’s desire to come true in the future. Ava wishes for careers and success. Lily asks for them to travel the world. Ella wishes for each to find true love. Ten years later, the first two wishes have come to fruition but the third remains unfulfilled.
Lily has dreamed of her own amazing wedding since turning five. While she hasn’t found her own Prince Charming yet, she’s made a career out of providing those special moments for others as an event planner, specializing in weddings. Her latest has her questioning everything. The bride and groom are friends of hers, and Lily wants it to be perfect, but something goes wrong at every turn. Making it even worse, she has to work with Lucas—a man with whom she’s constantly bickering. Thankfully, she has Ava and Ella standing beside her every step of the way.
The picturesque Italian scenery and Christmas traditions ease Lily’s spirits until Lucas tells her that his mother’s necklace has disappeared, and she’ll likely blame the wedding guests—possibly even Lily and her friends. Lucas’s mysterious, missing sister somehow seems to be involved in the whole fiasco. Unless they work together and find the necklace in a matter of days, the entire event could be canceled, destroying her friends’ dreams.
