I loved this fun, forbidden, and spicy romance. There was a great deal of mystery and intrigue woven throughout, making for an entertaining cat-and-mouse game between the two lead characters. They share a heated night, but due to miscommunication, they are separated, leading to chaos as one misunderstanding snowballs into a series of hilarious encounters between them.

Overall, I loved this story from start to finish and would be excited to see more from these characters. They have excellent chemistry, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow.

I absolutely loved this book! It is well written and easy to read. This is the story of Nico and Matteo. Both are in Italy for their siblings wedding. Nico who was well on his way to getting drunk lets himself be picked up by the handsome man at the bar. After an interesting early morning of surprises, he meets his future in-laws and his family for breakfast. The real surprise is that the grooms old brother is actually the man with whom he has had the best sex of his life. How do you say awkward in Italian? Matteo tries to clear up the misunderstanding between him and Nico. This is their story. I really enjoyed the story. There is lots of steam and conversation. I enjoyed the beginning of their relationship. But the twist at the end totally took me by surprise. I hope that there will be a follow up book in the future. I need to know what decisions are reached. I look forward to future books by this author.

Nico is in Italy for his sister's wedding, not an interrogation from his mother or any guilt trips, just to enjoy his sister's wedding. Unfortunately his mother does try to interrogate him which leads to him hiding in the resort bar only to get picked up by the most gorgeous man he has ever set eyes on. Following an incredibly steamy, extra hot night things don't quite go the way he would have hoped.

Firstly he never got the name of the hot Italian man who gave him the best night of his life. Second he never expected to find the gun under the pillow or to have it apparently pulled out on him. Then there is the matter of his anonymous hookup arriving at breakfast, joining his family, them being the family of his sister's husband-to-be. The hot man? He is the older, billionaire brother of his sister's fiancé, how Nico managed to snag him and how he got his money are two questions seriously running through his mind, especially after the gun incident which convinces him Nico has Mafia connections...

Matteo is intent on proving he is innocent of any Mafia connections, the gun is for his own protection after he was mugged and he, just as Nico, had the best night of his life, he wants to get to know the other man, really get to know him, to the extent that he'd like Nico to stay in Italy with him, after all he has his business there. What follows absolutely brilliant.

Gaia Tate has not only written one of the most scorchingly hot stories I have read in a long time, but she has done it with flair. The banter is incredibly witty, the heat is off the charts and the guessing game is fantastic. It's a novella so its a short read and I for one could not put it down and then., once I'd finished, well I just had to go back again. had Nico missed any clues, had I...?.

'As we step into the hallway, I feel his hand brush lightly against my back— not quite touching, just hovering there, ready to catch me if I stumble again. I don’t, but my heart’s still pounding, because I think I’m falling— and not in the literal sense.'

I was torn between liking and loving this book. I loved the chemistry between Matteo and Nico- wow, was it scorching! But Nico finds a gun and automatically is convinced the guy is a criminal, a killer, or in the mafia, and runs without letting Matteo explain. It honestly seemed crazy to me to automatically jump to that conclusion and I wish that wasted time was spent building what was growing between them more- because I thought Matteo was really sweet.

I was excited where it look like things were headed for the ending... and then the last two pages open-ends everything. Is Nico jumping to conclusions again and going to run? Will he actually have a conversation this time? Or is everything we thought we learned about Matteo wrong or not the full story? Or is it just assumptions again and what we learned of him was actually him? Very disappointed.

I don't like open-ended books any more than open-ended movies. And it says "the end," so I'll never really know. This story definitely needs a sequel, or at least an epilogue! I also love the supporting characters. I still recommend reading it, just be aware if you're a person who must have a solid HEA or HFN. 4 stars

I always look forward to this author's novellas and short stories. As with the others, this is lovely vignette, just a glimpse into a family wedding weekend in Tuscany for these MCs. There's nice characterization as we get a good sense of the MCs along with the side characters. As the description says, there is scorching passion between the MCs - very hot - just wish it were a bit more descriptive rather than mostly summarized. The ending was unexpected and I am intrigued. I hope there is a sequel because I need to know!

My Billionaire One-Night Stand is about Nico who is his sisters wedding and meets at the bar a man and Matteo who is the a barman, Matteo is also invited to the weddings. They share a night and in the morning Nico founds a gun under his pillow, so he run away and hopes he doesn't see Matteo again.

Nico is convicent that Matteo is in the mafia, and he tries to warn his sister who is getting married to Matteo's brother.

I liked the story, and I liked Nico and Matteo and what cliffhanger at the end, I want to know what happens next.

Ummm. Okay so this was actually going to be 4 stars because I enjoyed this so much!! It was fun and spicy and I wanted to read more about them. And then we get to the ending. It’s not even a HEA or HFN because the last sentence is the MC saying he’s not sure what he’s going to do about the other MC. And then it says THE END. THE END???? Are you joking? WTF is this shit? There better be another one coming!!!!

I enjoyed this story about Matteo and Nico it kept my interest from the start to the finish and I was really excited to see them together but that ending, I really hope there is a part two to their story because that was not a hea or even a hfn ending it just left me with a with a did they or didn’t they feeling and I really want to know what happens next. Without that ending it would have been a 5 ⭐️ read.

Nico reveals more about himself than Matteo who is evasive. I'm very curious what Matteo does for work and so is Nico. Their chemistry is off the charts and I really hope there is a sequel for this story.

Hot and steamy! No chocolate on the pillow. Pre wedding hookups are great setups! Nico and Matteo hookup and have an amazing evening. Then Nico finds a gun under the pillow and panics. Great relationships have been built on less. Interesting story, too short. Surprising ending, lots of questions. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What!? A cliffhanger? I thought this was a standalone. Nowhere does it say otherwise. I was in the mood for a short standalone. That's annoying. I hate starting a series that isn't finished. Anyway, other than that, this is pretty typical Gaia Tate and I always enjoy her work. It's fluffy, hot fun.

I liked this but gaddamn why’d you have to end it on that?! I kept thinking about the burner phone and how Nico seemed to forget it and wondered if it would come up again and of courseee it sneaks back in at the end. We have to have a follow up to this, right?? Please of please. I’d like that very much. And also the spice here was TOP NOTCH - very hot, very fun. Give me more please

Well, damn! I love the open ending as it is, but I want a sequel too!
I even read all the sex bits, they were just the right length and insanely hot 🔥

I really enjoyed this story. But why the f*ck did it end like a f*cking intro to a thriller movie?? My jaw was litterally hanging open, that's how flabbergasted I was. I'm still confused as I'm writing this. Is there going to be a sequel? Because I need answers ASAP 🤯.

This was so much fun, and that ending definitely got me! I really enjoyed Nico and Matteo and how hard Matteo was working to win Nico over. I've really been enjoying all these Gaia Tate books! They're all so much fun and really make me fall in love with the characters in such a short amount of time.
