A haunted taxi driver. A murdered woman. A second chance to face the nightmare.
Derek Dunne has been driving the dark streets of London for decades, trying to forget one passenger he should never have dropped off. One year ago, a terrified woman begged him to take her to a quiet house on a quiet street. He sensed danger, but did nothing.
He’s told himself ever since that nothing bad happened. That there was nothing he could have done. But every time his headlights sweep across that street, guilt stirs in the shadows.
And then, one stormy night, she gets into his cab again.
She looks exactly the same. She asks for the same address. And as the rain batters the windscreen, Derek starts to is this a cruel trick, or something far worse?
This time, he might have a chance to make things right... if he dares to follow her inside the house on Amber Road.

"10pm" is book #3 in Amy Crosses' "The Haunting of London" series and it is terrific!
So, I recently discovered Amy Crosses' The Haunting of London series of novels and I just finished reading the first three in a two week period. These novels are seriously gruesome, but so exciting and well written that I found it difficult to stop pondering these stories whenever I wasn't actively reading one of them. They are like eating quality dark chocolate! Once you start reading the series, you cannot stop! I highly recommend that you purchase the entire series as soon as possible and dig right in. You will be so happy that you did!
I'm definitely not disappointed! This series keeps getting better. There are unresolved character storylines from each previous book, but each book begins immediately where the other ends by using different characters who briefly encountered the character from the preceding book. For example, a taxi driver drops off a character at the end of book #2 and book #3 is about the taxi driver. It's an interesting way to connect one hour to the next hour.
John a taxi driver keeps running across a young lady Vicky. She is having a terrible time and winds up in a very bad situation. I so hope that this is to be considered, as I sure would like to see her revenge.
Was really hoping that the ending would tie things up, but hopefully 11pm will! If you enjoy a good ghost story then this book series is definitely worth the read!
