Evette’s divorce is final and all she craves is solitude. She never imagined hiding at the cabin would awaken dark hungers inside her.
A ravenous void demanding to be filled.
Her body writhing with needs she cannot name, drawn inevitably toward the cornfield where the scarecrow waits with its stitched smile and knowing eyes.
Only when she surrenders to its embrace, only when the watchers emerge from between the stalks with their too-many limbs and glistening mouths, does the hunger inside her find it’s meal.
This is an adult novella featuring mature themes meant for readers 18+
3.75 ⭐'s rounded up to 4. This was kind of my first monster smut. I've read Mean One by Ab Cynthe because I love The Grinch and I absolutely LOVED that book although I'm not one for fantasy. I am slowly getting into some paranormal romances but romantasy and monster smut? I don't think is quite my thing lol. BUT.. I did enjoy this. I wanted to DNF in the beginning but pushed through and I'm glad I did. When Clark showed up.. I thought the story was gonna go a different way than it did. The ending? It definitely surprised me. I guess it shouldn't have 😆. I will mention there was quite some repetition. It annoyed me but I pushed through. Overall? Give it a shot! 💉🥃
