As they navigate the treacherous path between betrayal and devotion, darkness continues to rise—around them, beyond them, and within Elina herself. And to save both their kingdoms, they will need the strength of his love… and the full force of her wrath.
4.5 🌟 I MISS THEM ALREADY. I can’t believe I now have to wait even longer for book #3 💔 truly such an amazing sequel. So honored to have been given the opportunity to get an ARC of this book. Forever shouting from the rooftops about how underrated this series is!!!
After loving the first book in this series i didn't think it could surprise me even more. Once again i was gripped from the very beginning. i absolutely loved the unexpected twists and the more i got to learn about the characters. I cannot wait for my shelf trophie when it is finally released and for any possible further books in the series! thank you so much to the author for letting me be an ARC reader for this series
I had the absolute pleasure of reading an ARC of this book however… it means now I have to wait longer for the final book to be released 😭
The Silver Reign picks up where The Sol crown left off, we are straight into action, fast pace, not messing around! This instalment is much darker than the first one so I would suggest checking the trigger warnings.
I laughed, I cried and maybe cringed sometimes but the big reveal in the end got my jaw on the floor yet again. You think you know what’s coming, you think that the story is predictable only to be proven wrong yet again!
It’s hard to go into details without spoiling anything from Book 1 or 2 * so you have been warned *🙈
First of all I absolutely adore Deacon and Elina Relationship, we definitely need more page time of them two 😭
Also, I really appreciate the fact that we don’t see Elina forgiving Stone 5 chapters into the book. We watch him trying to rebuild the trust throughout the book and he has to work hard for it. Our girl is strong and she is not messing around, despite of her strong feelings towards him 🥺 I think the jealousy scenes from both of them were my favourites 😏 and I was giggling and kicking my feet all the time 🙈
We also get to meet new characters and they stole my heart really quickly, especially the twins or the old hag, Ethel 🤣 we also get some nasty ones that I ended up hating from page one.
Overall, absolutely fantastic continuation, I was worried, I’m not gonna lie, that is not going to live up to the first book but It absolutely did! It’s a really entertaining read, fast paced, full of twists and turns but really easy to follow. It definitely needs to be the next BookTok obsession! 🖤
My only critique again is the use of modern terms and some of the scenes felt a bit repetitive but I still had a good damn time reading it and wasn’t bored for a single page!
Thank you to the author for letting me read early 🥹
‘there’s something undeniably beautiful, yet also heart wrenching, in knowing the one who helped break you is the only one who can make you whole again’
Gosh, how I love this series. The Sol Crown was hands-down one of my top 5⭐️ reads of 2025 and I had high hopes for book 2… A.F. O’Meara has surpassed all of my expectations in The Silver Reign and then some. From the very first page, my emotions felt like I was on the spin cycle of a washing machine and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that ending!
Elina remains one of my steadfast favourite FMCs; fierce, protective and has a mouth that could rival a sailor’s. She endures so much heartbreak and suffering in book 2 yet still makes you laugh out loud at her quips, especially to Ethel. Stone remains flawed perfection wrapped up in an MMC. He cannot help making mistakes, but you can’t help but forgive him.
For me, the writing steps up a notch in The Silver Reign. Written in first person POV, the minutia of detail places you there with the characters and I often forgot I was reading a book and not physically there in Dunmere.
If you’re a fan of any of the big-gun romantasy authors, you need to give this series a go!
This book was an arc review copy but I’d pay a thousand times over to experience this tale. Thank you A.M.F O’Meara
The Silver Reign by A.F. O’Meara is an intense, emotionally devastating sequel that completely consumed me …
AND quite honestly, may be even better than the first book.
From the very beginning, there is no moment of rest. The pacing is relentless, filled with constant twists and turns that keep you on edge. The story dives into darker territory, exploring psychological torture, loss, grief, and redemption in a way that feels both brutal and deeply affecting.
The villain in this installment is truly despicable, creating moments that are difficult to read at times due to their raw intensity and emotional weight. There are scenes that are gut-wrenching and heartbreaking, balanced by quieter moments of connection, including a strong found family dynamic and meaningful character relationships.
What stood out most was how well-developed and relatable the characters are. Even in the darkest moments, their emotions feel real, making their journeys all the more impactful. The inclusion of mates and evolving relationships adds depth, while the touches of humor throughout offer brief but welcome relief.
WAIT there is MORE!
The storytelling is phenomenal!!! This story is immersive, fast paced, and thoughtfully crafted. Even with its complexity, the plot remains easy to follow, and the spice included feels purposeful, enhancing rather than distracting from the story.
I devoured this book in one sitting (six hours) and was left completely stunned by the ending. It’s the kind of conclusion that lingers, leaving you needing time to process—and desperately wanting the next book.
This is a powerful, emotional, and unforgettable read. A must-read for fans of dark, intense fantasy. 🖤📚
Usually with the second book in a series I feel the repetitiveness creep in and the excitement creep out. But this book was INSANELY good the whole way through. Just the right amount of info dropping every now and then to keep me intrigued the whole way along. Beautifully written (it almost feels better than the first in some ways), complex and well thought out characters, and running throughout; gorgeous yearning from the mmc (he crawls to her!!!), and some badass moves from the fmc. Not only is Elina mentally strong (wink wink) she’s clever and determined all on her own merit, she doesn’t sway easily. But her relationship with Stone just makes everything 10 x more interesting. Stone says some poetic things occasionally, some of my favourites include: “There’s no reason for air in my lungs if yours won’t draw breath. No use for hands if I can’t touch you.” and “In every lifetime, in every world, I would find you, and I would stay.” … he was so good at knowing what to say to Elina in the tough moments, he was just great, 10/10 would recommend authors writing a man like him (pls)
Would recommend for people who enjoy: Romantasy Crazy plot twists (especially in book 1) Enemies to lovers / rivals to lovers Dark magic Feminine rage Tensionnnnn Slow burn Grovelling mmc
A F O’Meara’s ability to create characters I either love to the ends of the earth or despise so much I can feel the hatred in my soul is unparalleled!
This book had me hooked from page one and I am not even exaggerating. It’s was beautifully heart wrenching and as always, kept me guessing right to the end.
I looked suspiciously at my kindle telling me I had 3% left and yet everything was making me happy… rightly so.

Hear me when I say 6 bloody (maybe literally 😍😂) stars!
I have never been more excited for an ARC copy and I honestly did not think this could be as good as The Sol Crown but MAN do I stand corrected!
I ate up EVERY. SINGLE. WORD.
Literally crying right now but equally as shocked at the ending (I had an inkling about a certain something and was half correct! Go me 😂)
Everyone and their mother NEEDS to read this, and if you loved book 1 as much as I did you will not ve disappointed.
Honestly I cannot express how good this was but here are a just two of my favourite quotes that should entice you to read this!!
“You are the sun, Elina,” he whispers. “And if you are the sun, then I must be the moon—lit only by you. Without you, I’m nothing but shadow.”
“I drop low, twist the left dagger in my grip, and ram it up hard between his legs. And although he has a dagger protruding from his chest, he still manages a choked squeal, high and pathetic, before the light drains from his eyes. The last thing he’ll ever feel is his own balls being skewered like raw meat. Just like anyone who puts a hand on a woman without permission should.”
Elina - the women you are 🤩🤩🤩
Tropes: - found family - touch her/him and 💀 - magical powers - lovers to enemies to……(you’ll have to read and find out!) - rival nations/kingdoms - powerful AND badass FMC
Just read it already. I promise it’s 1000000 percent worth it.
*4.5 stars* Oh wow. So many thoughts. First off, a huge THANK YOU for the ARC I received to be able to read this! I have to say, in the beginning, maybe the first half of this one, Elina’s internal conflict on how to feel about Stone also had me conflicted. Like I could argue her to feel one way or another, so I really liked how that put me in a similar place as her. I also liked how we didn’t shy away from going to those dark places in the dungeons, it really added more depth to this story. And the way all the relationships develop throughout this story is so wonderful to see. The ending of this one really sucked (in like an emotional way) and was also intriguing (you’ll understand when you read it). I think I have ideas about what may come next, but now I know I’m going to have to wait so long before I can find out!😩 Really glad I’ve been able to dive into this world, it’s been a really fun reprieve from this one.
The Author never fails to keep your attention. She has perfectly timed plot twists with amazing attention to detail. This book is written beautifully. It even had me a little teary eyed. What an amazing second book to the series!

Thank you to A.F. O'Meara for the ARC of The Silver Reign
The Sol Crown was a 5 star (one of my top reads of 2025) And as the second instalment in the fractured light series, this did not disappoint.
I don’t want to spoil anything from the first or second book, but as a continuation from the painful end of the first book you dive right back into the storyline with Elina and you feel and work through her emotions (heartache, betrayal, loneliness, grief) with her which I just loved. She has quickly became one of my favourite FMC’s like all of the characters in this book she is just full of life and she’s not sorry about it. Strong, witty, sarcastic and she always stands up for herself and others
I wish we had more page time with some of the characters (like deacon etc) without Stone (even tho I love him dearly)
This book was written so beautifully with a really layered storyline where there are so many characters feelings involved even when you don’t get their POVs, everyone is woven in and has a part to play.
I’m ngl this book had me in a chokehold and I need the next one like rn 🫠 thank you so much again for this book 🫶🏻
Check trigger warnings before reading, as this one goes DARK 😳
Thank you for the opportunity to read The Silver Reign ARC, I was so excited to be accepted. After finishing The Sol Crown, thoroughly enjoying everything about it including THAT ending, I cannot explain how buzzing I was to be accepted for the ARC for book 2.
Book one was a fun time, this one…? This one repeatedly threw me against the wall, waterboarded me and then threw me in the wood chipper. I even asked the author if she was ok, you know, mentally, to make the characters go through this!
The hard thing about writing this review is that I cannot say too much without spoiling it! Especially with the way things ended in The Sol Crown.
One thing I will say though is that Elina is that girl that more women should aspire to be, strong, street smart, loves her carbs and won’t forgive easily when f**kboys do her wrong. Make them work for it!
Just read it, unless you’re adverse to graphic torture and other triggers 😅
I was so excited to receive an arc copy of this book after reading (well devouring really) the first book in January and oh my this book did not disappoint.
This author has very quicky become a favourite of mine, her writing style is just a pinch of me. I loved everything about this book, the characters, the world building, the emotional damage and her plot twists?!
This book had me laughing, biting my nails with anxiety and screaming throughout it. I honestly cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a book so much.
I could talk about this book for hours (and my lucky partner will get to hear all about it) but if you are reading this review and enjoy enemies to lovers, found family, emotional damage and magic, do yourself a favour and read the first book already, trust me you will not be disappointed
This book was everything I wanted it to be and more! Oh! The feeling this book pulled out of me from the very first page!!!! I knew Elina was a badass but this book proved just how much of a baddie she is and I think I’m in love with her.
I love this book I love the characters and this story is so good!!
The way this man just absolutely adores everything about her is just perfect!
6⭐️ for me! I immediately want to reread book 1 and this one to make more notes! This is a story that will stick with me for the rest of my days, and I’m not mad about it. I’m so ready to see what is revealed in book 3! Thank you so much A.F. O’Meara for the absolute gift of letting me read this ARC!
(4⭐️) The Silver Reign is a strong continuation of A. F. O’Meara’s ‘Fractured Lights’ series, broadening the scope, keeping the same electrifying momentum and endearing characters you can’t help but root for. While it didn’t quite reach the same heights as The Sol Crown for me, it still delivered an entertaining and emotionally engaging return to this world.
I rarely write reviews that contain spoilers, but I think it will be difficult to explain my thoughts properly without revealing some spoilers from book one and two, so please proceed with caution.
The story picks up immediately where book one leaves off; Elina has been captured, stripped of the safety of her squad back in Aladria, she finds herself imprisoned in Dunmere Castle. Heart shattered, the last person she wants to see is Stone, but their connection lingers despite his betrayal. Elina has her own motives and plans, rescuing her mother is her top priority, but she will soon learn why King Dagan is so feared now that he has her in the palm of his hand.
One of the book’s greatest strengths is how much larger the world now feels. The Sol Crown gave us a gripping entry point, but I wanted more worldbuilding and lore. The Silver Reign definitely delivers and this and broadens the lens significantly, introducing new faces, new dangers and giving us a deeper look at the grim, dark and treacherous Kingdom of Dunmere. And boy is it dark, I implore anyone to check their trigger warnings, because torture is a huge theme in this story. From the offset, it was much darker than I expected, but the trauma does serve an important purpose in highlighting the depravity and depths of Dagan’s cruelty and the suffering his kingdom faces under his rule. Dagan isn’t the only monster in this story and it was interesting to be introduced to the bloodletters and sirens too.
The character work remains a standout for me. O’Meara knows how to write relationships that feel meaningful, whether romantic, platonic or forged through hardship. Elina continues to be a heroine I enjoy following - capable, fierce and emotionally vulnerable beneath all that strength. The bonds between the core cast are what kept me most invested, Elina has her own support group while Stone has his too, each fiercely loyal to their own side but willing to overcome differences and work together on their common goal to destroy King Dagan.
Where this sequel lost some of its impact, was in the structure of the journey itself. There are large portions of this book centred around imprisonment, escape and travelling through dangerous lands, which initially felt like they were building toward a major shift in the story. Unfortunately, so much of that journey ultimately felt circular when at 70% into the book Elina and co suddenly land back in the exact same dungeon from chapter one, resulting in a good chunk of the middle feeling pointless. As a reader, this was such a frustrating realisation and while the story does pick up speed again in the grand finale, the shine was dulled for me.
That said, O’Meara still knows how to keep a reader engaged. The writing is highly readable, the emotional stakes remain strong, the romantic tension sizzles throughout and there are enough reveals, conflicts and relationship developments to keep the pages turning. Even when I questioned the direction, I was never bored!
Overall, The Silver Reign is a compelling sequel that successfully expands the world and bolsters the series. It may not have eclipsed book one for me, but it absolutely confirms that this is a series worth continuing. I’m still invested, still rooting for these characters and very eager to see where O’Meara takes them next. I’m desperately hoping that we get to learn more about what was going on in Aladria while Elina was away! 👀
Thank you to A. F. O’Meara for sharing this ARC with me in exchange for my honest review, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and look forward to this book’s release on 1 May 2026.

Returning to the world of The Sol Crown, The Silver Reign by A.F. O'Meara feels less like a continuation and more like a descent. What begins as a familiar landscape quickly shifts into something heavier, more uncertain, and far less forgiving. The foundations laid in the first book are not just built upon here they are tested, strained, and in some cases, shattered. From the outset, there’s a quiet understanding that this story is no longer interested in comfort, but in consequence.
One of the most striking elements of The Silver Reign is how O’Meara evolves the idea of light and dark beyond a simple magical divide. While The Sol Crown introduces these forces in a more traditional sense, the sequel deepens them into something far more immersive and unsettling. This is not just a story that acknowledges darkness, it fully embraces it, plunging the reader into the harsh reality of life in Dunmere. The contrast shifts from something external to something deeply felt, woven into the atmosphere, the characters, and the choices they are forced to make. Light no longer guarantees safety, and darkness is not confined to a single form; instead, the lines between them blur, creating a constant sense of tension and unease. The result is a world that feels heavier, more oppressive, and far more real where survival comes at a cost, and the true struggle lies in navigating the fragile space between hope and despair.
What truly sets this sequel apart is its refusal to offer easy outcomes. The Silver Reign is not a story where everyone emerges unscathed, nor does it shy away from the brutal reality of what its world demands. Without delving into specifics, the narrative makes it clear that no character is entirely safe, and that actions carry weight that cannot always be undone. Moments of loss are handled with a starkness that feels both shocking and earned, reinforcing the sense that this is a world governed by consequence rather than convenience. It’s a bold choice, one that adds emotional depth, but also a lingering tension, as the reader is never quite allowed to settle into certainty.
And just when it feels as though you might be allowed a moment to catch your breath, O’Meara delivers one final, perfectly placed blow, an enormous cliff hanger that leaves the story hanging in a state of charged uncertainty. It’s the kind of ending that lingers equal parts thrilling and tormenting ensuring that long after the final page, you’re still turning possibilities over in your mind, already anticipating what comes next.
Ultimately, The Silver Reign is a darker, more mature evolution of the story that began in The Sol Crown. It trades the clearer lines of its predecessor for something more complex and morally uncertain, drawing the reader into a world where light and dark are constantly shifting, and survival often comes at a cost. It’s not always comfortable, and it doesn’t aim to be but that is precisely where its strength lies. This is a sequel that commits fully to its path, even when that path leads somewhere difficult, and in doing so, delivers a story that lingers long after the final page.
Holy moly… this book does not slow down for a second. 🫠🫠
It picks up right where The Sol Crown left off and immediately throws you back into the crazy chaos. From the very beginning it felt like a full on emotional roller coaster. There is so much happening, so many emotions, so many twists, so many high stakes moments, and it just keeps building the entire time. 🥵 What I loved most about this book is how much deeper everything went. You really get to know Elina and Stone on a whole new level. Their relationship is so much more layered and intense here. There is hurt, betrayal, tension, but also compassion, loyalty, and love trying to find its way through all of it. The emotional conflict between them felt so real and intense, especially with everything they have been through. It just pulls you in and does not let go.The romance in this one was incredible. It builds directly from where the first book left off, but with so much more depth and emotion. You can feel how torn they both are, and that push and pull made every interaction hit so much harder. There were also so many new elements introduced. New characters, new environments, and more worldbuilding that really expanded the story in such a good way. It felt bigger, darker, and more intense than the first book. And the pacing… there was not a single moment where I felt bored or like I was waiting for something to happen. It was constant movement, constant tension, and constant emotion. But that ending… holy smokes!!!! 🤯🤯 I was not ready for it at all and it left me completely on edge and craving MORE!!! I genuinely need another book because I have to know what happens next.Overall this was such a strong continuation of the series. Emotional, intense, dramatic, and so well done. I feel so invested in these characters and this world, and I am already counting down and praying for another book in this series. Such an honor to be a ARC reader!
I’m not sure how but this book was better than book 1 - The Sol Crown.
I absolutely love the FMC Elina - she’s witty, strong and doesn’t give a hoot about winding people up. The amount of times she should just keep her mouth shut but she just can’t -
"Ah, there he is. Dagan's little errand boy." I smirk, and his smile falters. "For fuck's sake, Elina," Sam mutters under his breath.
And the fact that she doesn’t worry about eating - in actual fact everyone knows how much she loves her food
"What is it with men trying to steal my food today?" I glare at him, brandishing my knife like a weapon. "Go get your own."
In this book we learn so much more about Elina and her powers, how they work and how she uses them. We also see her relationship with Stone go from her hating him to finding out they are fated mates and the fact that they literally can’t help their love for each other.
The side characters in this book definitely come into their own and we also meet new ones who add a whole new level to this book - I absolutely live the twins. I was actually chucking to myself at certain pints throughout this book.
How about we grab breakfast and head out once dumbass and dipshit sober up a bit?"
I’m not sure how this ending could shock me like the ending of the Sol crown but I was literally speechless and wanted to through my kindle out the window.
Once again A.F.Omera had this book twisting and turning in all the best ways. Near the end I was like surely this can’t be the end and the wham she throws another curveball. I’m not sure how she’s does it as I usually see the twists and turns coming but this author always manages to shock me.
Now for a long excruciating wait till I can find out what happens next - in the best possible way.
First of all... a massive thank you to A.F. O'Meara for providing the arc copy of The Silver Reign! I absolutely DEVOURED this book!
I didn’t think you could top The Sol Crown... but girl...you really did!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Everyone NEEDS to read this series!
Book 2 starts off where book 1 ends, and if you've read book 1, you know the huge cliffhanger 🤯🤯🤯. The trauma Elina endures in the first part of this book was crazy and you really feel for her! It just shows how strong of a character she is to push through all of the heartache and the betrayal! She is definitely one of my favourites within the series, as she's witty, strong and isn't afraid to let the rage out!
What can I say about Stone Carlisle!! 😂 Keep being the man that you are... 🙌🏻🥵 (Apart from his moment of absolute moronic behaviour... but i've let that slide for now 😂😂)
Every single side character is epic! But if anything bad happens to Deacon... I will cry... like real tears! 😂💀 He's just the best and is what everyone would want in their best friend!
The book overall was written so beautifully from start to finish and really kept me hooked! The world building and magic system are so unique! Not going to lie... the last chapter had me in an absolute chokehold... I knew there was something big being hidden, but I didn't think it was THAT big! I can not wait to see what book 3 brings, but super sad I have to say goodbye to this world for now! 😭
If you love a amazing romantasy book packed with a great plot, lots of action and some crazy cliffhangers, then PLEASE give this series a read. You will not be disappointed!!
Tropes include
-Lovers to enemies to... -Found family -Touch him/her and 💀💀 -Grovelling MMC -Feminine rage -He crawls to her
*ARC* Thank you to A. F. O'Meara for this exceptional romantasy.
The opening of this book pulls no punches, it’s intense, immersive, and immediately sets the tone for what’s to come. From the very start, the emotional undercurrent is driven by a deep sense of yearning that lingers in every interaction, making it impossible not to feel invested.
The FMC was an interesting point for me. I found myself wishing she expressed more anger, given everything that unfolded. However, as the story progressed, it became clear that her reactions, or lack thereof, were not accidental but tied into a much larger plan. That nuance added an extra layer to her character, even if it challenged my expectations.
What truly stood out were the supporting characters and the intricate dynamics between them. The influence of their respective kingdoms added richness to the story, shaping relationships, alliances, and tensions in a way that felt both complex and compelling.
The plot twists were exceptionally well executed. I genuinely didn’t see them coming, which made the reading experience all the more engaging. And then there’s the ending. It doesn’t neatly tie everything up; instead, it leaves you with questions, curiosity, and a strong sense that there’s much more to uncover.
Overall, this is a story that keeps you thinking long after you’ve finished. Now the real question is: what comes next?
One line review - Just when you think things can’t get more intense than The Sol Crown, Silver Reign comes along and proves you wrong.
This sequel is noticeably darker than the first book, and it works perfectly, it feels like a natural evolution as the story shifts into Dunmere. There were multiple moments where my heart was in my throat. I found myself genuinely stressed reading in bed, even accidentally waking my husband, and yes, there were quite a few tears along the way.
A. F. O’Meara clearly knows how to deliver emotional impact, taking a page from authors like Maas and Yarros when it comes to heartbreak. Honestly, I’m a little scared for what the final book will put us through. That said, her writing is exceptional. She has a real gift for pulling you into the story and making you care deeply about the characters, whether you love them or hate them, you feel something, and that’s not easy to achieve.
Sam and Deacon, in particular, grew on me so much in this book. The way they support Elina, strengthening her without overshadowing her, beautifully handled. They’re the kind of men who aren’t threatened by a strong woman but instead admire it, especially when she’s underestimated by toxic men. Watching those moments unfold was incredibly satisfying.
I had the privilege to receive an ARC for this book but my review is entirely my own.
I knew after reading The Sol Crown I needed to immediately read The Silver Reign. And oh my goodness it did not disappoint!!! Now I will say it or more gruesome and violent than the first one so check your trigger warnings. There is a lot of killing and blood and abuse and torture so make sure you are ok with reading that before you start this book. The descriptions and writing of this is so well done. Elina is such a strong and powerful FMC and she is a baddie, then pair her with Stone and oh my gosh! They are perfect… what they go through for each other is incredible. At the beginning of this book you hate Stone for what he did but then you grow to love him again and the bond him and Elina have together. I have to know what happens and I need the next book immediately!! This book was even better than the first!
First off, I’m hoping there’s another book coming cause I need some answers!!!!!! The characters are perfection! Elina is such a strong badass FMC and so caring for the people! I find myself wanting to know more about Sam and his back story! Stone is amazing! Enough said. Deacon and Junie and all the banter with everyone and don’t get me started with the twins! This book is all action, some good spice, very fast paced and the heartbreak through out! Like I sad, I need more! If you love your heart ripped to pieces, then slowly put back together, only to be ripped out again, this series is for you!!!!!
I highly recommend this book! Make sure you read the Sol Crown first or certain parts of this book won’t make a lot of sense!!!!
I graciously received an ARC of this book and OMG I loved it just as much as the first. After completely devouring The Sol Crown (in literally a day) I was so excited to read The Silver Reign. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to last until the next book. I truly miss the characters already. This book follows directly from book 1 so get your rereads in quick! I don’t want to give any spoilers but my god from the get go it’s twist and turn at every moment and I loved it!! Elina is my total girl crush! A sarcastic bad ass with an appreciation for food that feeds my soul. Stone… is everything. But deacon definitely has my heart! I cannot wait for the next and I thank A.F Omeara whole heartedly for sharing this ARC with me. I shall continue to wait impatiently. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank to the author for sending me the ARC for this book - this is my honest opinion.
I could not put this book down!
Everything I enjoyed in the first book is taken to the next level here - the twists keep coming, but the stakes feel so much higher this time. There’s a real sense of tension throughout that makes it impossible to stop reading.
The dynamic between Elina and Stone is Chef’s kiss. The banter, the tension, the way they play off each other - it’s all done so well and adds so much depth to the story.
And once again… that ending. Absolutely insane. I thought I might be prepared after book one, but no... It leaves you reeling and immediately desperate for the next book.
An easy 5 stars. Addictive, intense, and somehow even better than the first. I need book 3 immediately!
This story is beautiful, with soooo much action. It will keep you turning pages well into the early hours of the morning.
Please read responsibly - starting this book may result in you ignoring your responsibilities, laundry being forgotten, staying up too late because you need just "one more chapter", cackling out loud at sassy quips and startling your cat, and smirking along with Stone whilst you are sat along in your living room 😏
Stock up on snacks and hunker down with your biggest drinks cup and buckle up you're in for a rollercoaster with this book.
I will not rest until I get book 3 because what the hell just happened
If you thought book 1 was amazing (because it was) book 2 brought everything!
Rivals to lovers to enemies to hate s*X to lovers omg.
The way this book leaves you pausing to stare at a wall!
There's high stakes, different magical abilities, touch her and 💀, touch him and 💀, amazing dark and emotional scenes moments to giggle and kick your feet, moments you wanna scream.
I love so many of the characters in this and miss them already.
Omg well I thought The Sol Crown was good I was absolutely hooked to The Silver Reign i was reading any spare minute I got. The adventure is amazing, the characters are amazing as always. The ending I gasped and cried a little and all I want is more. The character building was great some new characters aswell which was nice to see. The way she writes makes it so easy for me to imagine the characters and the places and the adventures I can see it all in my head and I love that . If you want adventure, friendships, war, heartbreak ,and just a great story you have to read this series.
This was a great read, it had structure & depth. The character development was really good. This book is filled with action and drama all the way through. Fated mates, race against time, vengeance, humour, sorrow, this book has it all. And the cliff hanger it ended on…. There has to be a 3rd book in the making…. I’ve have really enjoyed reading both books in this series.
I received this book as an ARC read and all opinions are my own
