Who We Are #3

Should Our Stars Collide

Rate this book
Tropes - one-sided enemies-to-lovers, size difference, bratty bottom, touch-starved MC, protective top, possessive top, power-exchange (not heavy), praise kink, time-travel 2 years into the future, bi-awakening, hurt/comfort, strict roles, slow burn, paranormal light

Trigger Warnings - mentions of emotionally/mentally abusive childhoods, drinking as a coping mechanism, negative self-image

Should our Stars Collide is book 3 in the Who We Are series. While the story is about a different couple, I highly recommend picking up one of the previous books to familiarize yourself with the world and the characters, so you don't get overwhelmed.

BLURB

Kieran doesn’t discriminate when it comes to the things he hates: people, small talk, kombucha—he despises them all equally.

And then there is Ash freaking Cleaver. Cocky, shameless, and on a mission to get under Kieran’s skin—and into his pants. The fact that Kieran doesn’t bat for his team doesn’t seem to bother him. Nothing seems to bother him, including Kieran’s unconcealed hatred for the guy. Actually, Kieran swears the pervert enjoys the open displays of hostility.

Yeah, he definitely hates Ash the most.

So when Kieran wakes up two years in the future—next to the very man he despises, in the bed they share, in the life they’ve apparently built together—no one can blame him if he loses it a little (a lot).

Trapped in a timeline he doesn’t understand, with the man he can’t stand, Kieran desperately searches for a way out.

And he better find it quick.

Because the more time he spends with this version of Ash, the one who kisses his forehead and knows how he takes his coffee, the one who makes him feel safe even in the middle of a storm, the harder it is to pretend he still hates him. Even harder to admit that, maybe, he never really did.

After all the effort to find a way back, leaving this reality behind might just be the hardest thing he's ever had to do.

// I knew you in another life
You had that same look in your eyes
I love you, don't act so surprised //

“I could be your guardian angel.” Kieran snorts. “Says the devil’s spawn.”

What happens when you wake up two years in the future next to the man you thought you hated?

Yes to that premise, and YES to all the feels and the love. This was a sweet romance, with just a touch of paranormal sparkle.
It reminded me of Simon and Alisha from Misfits (iykyk), but a thousand times less emotionally devastating. The time travel, making each other fall in love over and over again.

“It’s okay if you can’t love yourself first,” he says, voice soft. “There are others who are more than happy to do it for you.”

Ash and Kieran fit so perfectly together, and I loved the slow burn from dislike to ‘oh shit, I’m in the future and we’re a couple’ to love. Lots of banter and lots of tenderness, and double the first times.

“When you are ready. When you really want it.” He leans down, so he can whisper in Kieran’s ear. “I will strip you bare, press you down, and fuck you so nice and deep you’ll forget there was ever a time when you weren’t mine.”

Ash’s dirty talk?? Melted. Puddle. Me.
They were cute, they were sexy, the plot was a little wacky and a lots fun — honestly the perfect book.

When Ash is next to him, holding him like there’s no place he’d rather be, his whole being whispers: everything is okay, now. You’re safe.

It’s fierce and unguarded, a surge of everything that’s been kept at bay. It’s two stars colliding.

Ah, I know I just said it was perfect. But I do wish there was more of them playing with Ash’s mind-seeing. Apart from that, no complaints.

“Don’t you get it?” he murmurs, voice hoarse and shaky. “It’s you. It’s always been you, even before I knew it.”

Thank you Amithia Raine for sending me a copy of this book!

I wish this book had just been an amnesia trope, not time travel, because it didn't really make sense to me this way.

I also had some issues with Ash as a character. He said to Kieran they had rules about when he could use his power, but to me it felt like he used it a lot more often than that and sort of manipulated Kieran sometimes. I also didn't believe Kieran would go from a 'straight person' to a submissive bottom who got spanked when he didn't behave, especially not that quickly.

And finally, I wanted a lot more backstory for these characters, especially Kieran. There's some mention of bullying and parental issues, but it was glossed over so much. If you're giving me emotionally stunted characters who still have trouble functioning because of what happened in the past, I want to know exactly what caused all that.

But I had fun and I'm a sucker for grouchy lonely people, so I did like Kieran and wanted him to find happiness and someone who loved him unconditionally.

This book was so much fun to read! I loved all of it. The dynamic between the main characters was perfect and I thought the storyline was gripping enough that I kept reading. Easy read, you know? Hot at times, so fucking cute at others!!! I finished the book with a humongous smile on my face because it was such a good ending.

P.s. the cover is awful omg!! This story deserves clothbound binding with gilded lettering and some good artwork or something. Just sayin

well. i learned something new today. i don’t like time travel.

actually, i think it depends on the kind of time travel.
the one where they time travel to save the world/do something meaningful? yes please.
the one where the two main characters don’t have feelings for each other in the present (at least none i can detect), then character 1 goes two years into the future so character 2 has to convince him they love each other. then character 1 goes back to the present, character 2 is not interested in a relationship and character 2 has to convince him they should be in one? yeah don’t like it.

it was a whole lot convincing that they were in love, and not enough falling.
not to mention the character transplant character 1 got when he went back to the present. that was…. something.

Should Our Stars Collide by Amithia Raine is book 3 in the Who We Are series. This series has a hold on me. I love how the supernatural aspects are so intertwined with regular life. It is literally just a part of these people’s day to day. Each book, characters, and relationship is so unique from one another but it works so well. I mean we have empaths, reapers, and time travel in the same series and it makes perfect sense. In this book, we have Ash and Kieran. We’ve seen glimpses of their volatile interactions in the previous books. They are like oil and water. Who would ever decide that they would make the perfect couple? Neither man is easy to like. They are both abrasive and cruel at times. However, getting into their heads, I get it. I understand why they act the way they do. Together, they are beautiful. I love how the book is clearly divided into three sections and how during the different time periods we saw a different man being the aggressor in pursuing the relationship. It made me think that both of them were in this for the long haul…that they both cared so much that they were willing to fight for what they wanted. It worked for me. I couldn’t put it down. I hope that we get to see so many more stories from this world (Jordan and Zeke just to name a few). I love this universe that the author has created. I highly recommend this series, but make sure to start with book 1. So much happens that overlaps (plus they are just as amazing as this one).

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review.

I really liked this book it was so hard to put down! I do think this was less kinkier than I was expecting based on the tags at the start of the blurb. Definitely go into this expecting this authors usual style of more emotional story telling rather than smut and you’ll definitely enjoy it. I’m still partial to book 1 (I love Cal) and it was great to see cameos here.

Keen for a potential Zeke book?

Firstly, I do think it's important to have read books 1 and 2 in this series before this one because so much is referred to that if you haven't read them, you likely won't have a clue what's going on!

Secondly, I usually dislike books with time play in them because my brain likes a linear timeline, but the time travel was done really well here and it definitely brought out a lot of emotions for me. I've only read a couple of time travel books before (Tom's Midnight Garden, The Time Traveller's Wife) and I've never really been sure if it's a plot that I enjoy, but Kieran and Ash's story kinda felt like it had to play out this way or they never would have gotten together?!

Kieran is such a prickly little cactus and he's very difficult to like for quite a while, but once we get his back story and his reasons for behaving the way he does, I just wanted to hug him and never let go! His fear for Dawson was so overwhelming!

Ash was totally different in a relationship to how I expected him to be but it worked so well! I really liked the dynamic between him and Kieran but I do wish we'd gotten more about how he was feeling with the whole time travel thing because it affected him massively also, but we mainly get Kieran's panic and disbelief.

What happens with Ash when Kieran comes back to the present day timeline had me genuinely shocked and I cried!! That was the only point where I really wished we had so much more of them in the present timeline rather than the future because I needed to see more of their origin to reassure myself that the future timeline would definitely be happening...

I hope we eventually get a story for Zeke though, I feel bad that he's the only one in the friendship group that doesn't have a settled story!

So, it's been a while since I posted anything but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to review this amazing ARC I got.

I was in love with this series from the start, "should the sky fall" is one of my favourite re read, book two was also amazing so I had great expectations for book 3. And it didn't disappoint!

I must admit it took me a bit to warm up to Kieran ...I was sure it was going to happen but it's not my ideal type of character at least in the first few chapters.

Once I understood him a bit it was painfully obvious why he was the way he was and it broke my heart.

***
“I swear, you’ve been put on this planet for the sole purpose of pissing me off.”
***

The paranormal aspect in this book was more evident than the previous books but it was also necessary, I didn't hate it but the brain work I had to do to understand the time travel dynamic was painful ( I'm dumb I know)

Ash is the example of what a good dom should be, attentive, caring, possessive, firm and loving.
His personality was a riot and I'm here for it!

In the end, the book was too short for me.

Aghh. I really wanted to like this book, but something happened. I really disliked the MCs, both of them 😢 although I disliked Kieran first and more.
I couldn’t decide which MC broke more boundaries and had more red flags. I know sometimes mm is about red flags, but this book wasn’t going that way, so it was weird to let them pass.
Also I have a personal problem with angry people so … even worse for me.
So sad about this.

***ARC Review***

This is my honest and voluntary review.

This is the third book in the Who We Are series and it would actually be somewhat beneficial if you read the books in order. You’d probably be fine reading it as a standalone, but some things would be more clear reading the other stories first. Ash and Kieran are like oil and water. They don’t seem to mix. Their temperaments and personalities seem at odds. Underneath it all however, these two could not be better suited for one another if you tried. They are absolutely delightful together! Raine writes both MCs in an expressive and elegant manner. Ash and Kieran both have things about themselves that they are keeping at bay. It takes a lot of trust on each other’s part to reach out and attempt a life together.

I rather enjoyed the time travel aspect in this story. Splitting the book up into parts works really well and moves the pacing along nicely. I like that beneath Ash’s calm and collected exterior is an obsessive and possessive person who just wants to give someone his all. While Kieran is very mouthy, defensive, and incredibly independent - he’s actually looking for someone to take the reins in his life.

This book weaves together beautifully with the other stories in the series’ universe. The timeline feels natural and the MCs manage to overcome any potential obstacles to their HEA. This is a very alluring book. I definitely recommend it. You will love watching Ash and Kieran fall for their other half. It’s a real gem!

A sweet and engaging story with time travel and found family.
This book follows Kieran and Ash, who we meet in previous books in the series. Since the other characters and world building is established in book 1&2, they should definitely be read first.

Ash is a therapist with the lucky advantage of mind-reading powers. He’s extremely forward and knows what he wants, and it just so happens that what he wants is Kieran. Unfortunately, Kieran is definitely straight and definitely not into Ash’s advances. When Kieran wakes up in an unfamiliar bed two years in the future with none other than Ash beside him, things get strange fast.

This book has:
-a real world setting, but with magic!
-one-sided animosity to lovers
-mental time-travel and multiple timelines
-(low intensity) lifestyle BDSM
-having to win each other over
-a cat named Tequila

This series continued to hold my interest with book 3! The time-travel aspect was really unique, and made for a really interesting story. Add on top of that Ash and Kieran’s unique dynamic, and you’ve got yourself a fun book!

Kieran is truly a firecracker, and his bratty nature definitely worked well with Ash. Ash is closed-off about himself, but extremely attentive and comforting to others.

This book is broken into three parts, and each one felt like a new way for one of these two to find a new way to try and chase after the other.

Don’t think about the timeline stuff too hard—your brain will hurt! 😂

I enjoyed this, mainly because I love the author’s voice and style. Book 1 of this connected series is the standout; the other two aren’t as strong, but, I still very much enjoy meeting the characters with their authentic and unique personalities and conflicted connections.

This is a time travel romance (and for once, someone takes advantage of that in a monetary way I could get behind! LOL why not?!), and strong dislike to love. These two MCs seem like oil and water, one despising the other’s seeming meanness in calling him on his BS, the other being fascinated by the prickly, guarded man who doesn’t want to give anyone a chance. It’s also a paranormal in that Ash and his family all have abilities, and Ash’s is seeing pictures in people’s minds and knowing what they think and truly want. It’s made him a very affective therapist, but hasn’t served his love life well in the way one might think/hope.

Kieran’s best friend is married to an abuser who seems to have done a 180 personality change (book 1, my favorite and quite a unique read), but Kieran isn’t buying it and wants to save his bestie. Ash is his bestie’s all-too-honest know-it-all therapist who gets under his skin like no one else, bringing out Kieran’s feistiest defenses. But…Ash won’t go away no matter how snarky and mean Kieran is. He seems to see into Kieran’s heart and always knows how to take him down. The tension is constant.

When Kieran wakes up 2 years in the future (due to another friend in their circle's...whoops!...newly revealed abilities!) in bed…and a relationship…with Ash, he’s shocked to say the least. From there it’s a case of falling for your enemy, but also getting to know him and why you’re perfect for each other, then facing the potential loss of it all and having to figure out how they got there in the first place.

I loved the authenticity of their internal conflicts and doubts. Ash’s confidence covers up his self-doubts and Kieran’s prickliness is a defense against ever being left again. They worked so well together, and I enjoyed most of this beautifully written story.

I just didn’t really appreciate some OM drama and the reason for it when the timeline goes back to the present from the future/in love, and how Ash reacted/a decision he made. It was icky and disrespectful to the stranger he nearly dragged into it and turned me off the romance, which until then I was rooting for hardcore. I know, I know. Me. But it was a minor yet pivotal moment that sucked all my joy out of finding out how they’d work it out. Alas.

Overall though I was glad to read the story and I think a lot of people will love it and won’t care about that blip.

HEA, time travel, enemies/opponents to lovers, paranormal abilities, found family/continuing group of friends. No others/no OM action, but, a point of OM drama that I really wish had been something else to raise stakes/tension. It diminished the story for me (but I swear won’t be a big deal to pretty much anyone else!). Recommended, but I recommend book 1 the most!

I have been absolutely loving the blend of paranormal and contemporary elements in this series, and Kieran and Ash's story was another fantastic read. I was very intrigued to see how Amithia Raine would incorporate time travel into this one, and what a blast it was to experience it all through Kieran's eyes. Kieran was such a prickly little cactus, and Ash got under his skin like no one else did. Their banter was top tier, Ash poking at all of Kieran's tender spots and Kieran rising to the bait every single time. When Kieran woke up two years in the future only to find that he and Ash were in a long-term, committed relationship, you would have thought it was the end of the world. I should probably feel bad for saying this, but Kieran's bratty, indignant rage only made me more giddy at seeing how perfect Ash was for him. Watching Kieran fall in love with Ash, and I mean truly, madly, deeply in love with the man, was almost too much for my heart to handle, and it was even better seeing the love already reflected back in Ash's eyes. The two of them were so freaking soft for each other, protective and possessive in equal measures and ready to stand against the world if it meant shielding the other from hurt. Don't even get me started on how hot their chemistry was -- every time they touched I thought their sparks would set the world alight. These two were the definition of love making each other the best versions of themselves, and I was ready to throw everything away if it meant they'd be able to hang onto their happiness. If I had to express the tiniest of complaints about the story, it would be that Kieran's return to his original time didn't get the same amount of attention as his trip to the future. I wanted to see more of Kieran's pursuit of Ash, all the unhinged behaviors on full display as he tried to brat his way into getting his man. As it stood, I have no idea how Kieran didn't immediately rat himself out, because he was nowhere near subtle about wanting to jump Ash's bones and it was kinda hilarious to see how baffled Ash was by that. I was having so much fun reading about these characters that I was sad when I reached the end of their book, and even though I have no complaints about how the threads of the story were tied up I still want more, more more of Kieran and Ash living brattily ever after.

The ARC was provided me by the author

I've been waiting for Ash and Kieran's book since the movie scene, like a little kid waiting for Christmas. And I wasn't disappointed!
Time travel to the future, one-sided enemies to lovers, banter, slow-burn romance, a pinch of magic, double first times, and the author's usual quality humor awaits the reader.

It was good to see the gang again - where Gabe shows up, it's impossible not to have a good time - I loved Zeke's scenes (I hope he eventually gets his own book), and although there was an overlap in the plot, the transition was so smooth that it was perfect memory refresher and didn't feel repetitive.

These two are so perfect for each other that I can't even find the words for it. Fortunately the author did have the words. :D
“I know exactly what it is that you want, that you crave. You don’t have to say a word. Doesn’t that sound good? Imagine what I could do with that information if you gave me the green light.”

I read the entire novel in two sittings, and my initial childish excitement turned into calm satisfaction by the end, and my smile was so wide that I couldn’t wipe it off my face for hours, because the guys stayed with me for so long.

“I look happy,” Kieran observes, quiet and thoughtful. Uncertain.
“I like to think I make you so,” Ash says softly.

The way time travel works and the way the timelines intertwine, caused a bit of a headache (not as much as with the 12 Monkeys series), but after a while I let it go and I went with the flow.

I really enjoyed being in Kieran's head (I felt too much at home there at times), Ash stole my heart too, and I was blown away by how fantastic their dynamic was. This part of the series is definitely worth rereading, too!
I loved every line, although I may be a bit biased, because I've been eagerly awaiting the next one since the first book came out.
Now I'm going to go and buy the book in physical format.

I've longed for this story since the author wrote the scene at the cinema, when Ash met Kieran for the first time and I'm so very happy the author put them together and gave them a happy ending.

On the outside they couldn't be more different: Ash is easygoing, funny, a bit arrogant and very confident, while Kieran is a grumpy chaotic mess, who keeps everyone at arm's length.
Both of them have their own demons, though, demons tied to their past and to their families, both of them have been wronged by their parents who didn't raise them with love. Ash was crushing under a ton of expectations and his wishes and dreams became irrelevant and Kieran was treated like a huge burden his parents couldn't deal with and left him to his own devices.

I adored their dynamic, in and out of the bedroom: Kieran was able to submit but also to keep his brattitude very alive and Ash fulfilled his need to be in control while simultaneously being swamped into Kieran's whirlwind personality. Their banter is amazing, Kieran pushes and pushes until the raging volcano inside Ash explodes.

Their "first" time was beautifully written, very emotional and wrapped in so much love. I really really liked it.

What prevented me from giving five full stars:
I didn't really get how the back and forth in time worked, honestly I was a little bit confused, but I kinda pushed it aside to fully enjoy the wonderful romance.
And also needed a bit more from the epilogue since the author is not sure there will be another book after this.

I loved to see Cal, Dawson, Ellis and Gabe again, the moments where they were all together were hilarious!
I enjoy Amithia Raine's writing very much, I look forward to reading more from her. Let’s hope she will give Zeke his own story too, I think he’s the most mysterious of the whole gang.

4.5/5 Ash and Kieran both probably need therapy (despite Ash’s occupation, lol), but their messed up bits really end up complimenting one another. (They both have red flags, but it’s sort of like the red flags cancel one another out for them, or they’re being used for the power of good? I probably wouldn’t be comfortable IRL, but it works for them here.)

I don’t love the equivalent of pigtail pulling as foreplay, generally, but since it ends up being so mutual for these two (at least at different points), I didn’t mind it. They’re both fierce and prickly in their way, so they tugged at my heartstrings a lot as we got to see beneath their layers. The underlying trust definitely makes a difference in giving their relationship depth and staying power—especially given how weird it gets with the time travel.

I really enjoyed that paranormal element and how it fits in with the paranormal quirks of the other books. I liked that those elements didn’t stay sticking points for long given everything else the group has experienced. The emotional focus is all on Kieran and Ash—and how they’re figuring out their relationship (backwards and forwards thanks to the time travel).

Kieran and Ash are definitely better together (even if they also bring dark parts out in one another). I’m so glad they got their HEA!

I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and fun and I really liked both Kieran and Ash, their chemistry and their relationship dynamics.

The time travel magic spell was fun and fit in well with the paranormal theme of the series. However, the result of this spell (as relates to the plot/relationship development) was that in both the future and the now, one character was fully invested in the relationship and just had to get the other on board. This took away challenges for the characters and I felt like this made the relationship development go a lot more smoothly, both times, than it would have otherwise. And therefore there was a lot less drama and angst than there could have been without the time travel, or without the time travel causing other challenges.

So if the aim was "sweet and fun", which it really was, this worked well. But the drama and angst that were taken away from me could have made this book even better.

I was SO excited about a new Amithia Raine book. I literally dropped whatever I was reading to switch to this one.
Alas... I was not prepared for the bdsm-adjacent, creepy manipulation dynamics of this. Maybe I missed something in the blurb or description.
I absolutely can't stand the reluctant-brat vs overconfident dom trope. Let me paint the picture: one mc is insecure, uptight and considers himself straight. The other MC taunts him, pushes him and flirts with him aggressively despite being told off. He can also literally read minds and seems to be able to manipulate the other guy (magically or otherwise). Obviously, we're to understand that the first MC will later see the error of his ways and that he actually likes men and even likes spanking.
But it feels so much like bullying and grooming, it makes me uncomfortable to the max.
This book is getting dropped like it's on fire. I'm sorry, I'm just not into it.

Should Our Stars Collide by Amithia Raine
I purposely didn’t read the synopsis before starting this one, so I went in blind on the pairing and the supernatural twist like with the other books. I’m really glad I did (after checking the trigger warnings were okay for me) as this has made my top 5 of 2025! This book is a total gem, and I can’t believe something I finished on Dec 31st made my top 5 of 2025. It had me laughing so much, then crying just as hard - I connected with Kieran in a way I didn’t expect at all, and I love Ash’s solid presence. The 3 parts of the story is perfection. This is definitely a reread for me, and I’m off to check for audiobooks; it might even become a shelf trophy. Cannot recommend it highly enough - it’s just what I needed, right when I needed it.

Such a good story! Ash and Kieran aren't the most likeable of characters, and yet they are perfect for each other (although they don't realize it). They annoy each other and while they might think they can't stand each other, it turns out they can't stand being apart from each other. The time travel is intriguing and gives them the chance to get past their dislike, but they each have to fight separately for their HEA. Imperfect, complex characters who fit together like two pieces of a puzzle, it's not long before we see how each person's 'flaws' are exactly what the other needs. I recommend reading at least book 1 first (Should the Sky Fall) because of the references to Cal and Dawson. Once you start this series, you'll want to read them all anyway.

4.5 stars

Oh, I loved this. Ironically just before I read it I ditched a book for having grown men trying to wind each other up, but I lapped it up in this. The characterisation was amazing, both MCs are damaged and it was beautiful to see them work through stuff and heal themselves and each other. I really loved their dynamic and would have liked to have seen that explored a bit more in the bedroom, just for my own curiosity, but the existing scenes were great, although I will never not be amused by Kieran being absolutely scandalised by rimming. I got through it fast and really didn't want it to end. Also enjoyed the cameos from the others very much. Amithia Raine is an author at the top of their game and I very much enjoy their work.

This is the third book in The Who We Are series. I absolutely loved everything about books 1 and 2. I settled on 4 stars for this one because there were a lot of things I really loved, but a few things I really really didn’t.

Things I loved:
The banter
Seeing Kieran let his guard down
Ash showing his vulnerabilities
Kieran taking on Ash’s parents
Re-connecting with Dawson, Cal, Gabe and Ellis
Tequila (aka Murder Cat)
The ending

Things I didn’t:
The d/s lifestyle - it’s a me thing. I don’t mind the power dynamic but when I hear it called a “scene” it’s a definite no for me. Not a fan of spanking either.
The time travel- I don’t know if it was really that I didn’t like it, or just that it was a little confusing.

Overall, I loved Ash and Kieran and enjoyed their story.

THIS BOOK OMG!!! Look I was so excited when I saw this was gonna be coming out and it lived up to all my hype!! Ash and Kieran’s story was so fun, emotional and totally captivating. I really liked the time travel aspect it added such a layer to, not just the story but Ash and Kieran’s relationship.

I assumed beforehand we were gonna get like 1-2 chapters of Kieran then jump straight into the time travel bit I liked having a much longer base of Ash and Kieran before he travels to the future.

This was so good and if I could read this for the time first time again I would. I purposely read this slowed because I really wanted to savour this book😂

Kieran is Dawson's bf and he's upset Dawson is back with his hubby Cal, insisting he's different. You know who else insists Cal is different? Dawson's psychologist Ash who happens to be Gabe's cousin. Everyone is interconnected in Amithia's series. In this one, Ash is pursuing Kieran until Kieran wakes up two years in the future and in a relationship with Ash, in love. You get these feelings in Amithia's books like the impossible is possible. I love the spitting, bratty Kieran and the all knowing, patient Ash as a couple. And I could read this book over and over. I am in love with this concept and their story. I waited forever for this book!

Thank you for the book; here is my honest opinion:
4.5⭐️This is such a fun, sometimes confusing series! I was happy to get Ash’s story as he was so interesting in Dawson and Ellis’s books. The author has an interesting take on time travel in this one as it is used as kind of a tool to get Kieran to actually participate in his life in a meaningful way. If you are looking to real science heavy time travel, this isn’t that. It’s more hazy a cool was to make Kieran grow and evolve and be ready for Ash. These two are fun together, I enjoy their push pull dynamic and loads of spiky banter. Looking forward to more from this series!

4/5⭐

I was honestly a little confused about the whole time travel thing, some aspects of it just didn't make sense to me. But I still enjoyed Kieran's and Ash's story a lot.

They were perfect for each other, finding love in a person who understood what's it like being alone and misunderstood. Their love wasn't conditional, unlike the relationships they had with their parents. I wish we delved a bit deeper into this topic, since it was something that shaped both of them into the people they were and influenced many choices they made in life.

It was definitely more sweet and less angsty compared to the 1st book.

This was an intriguing book. I did NOT like Kieran at all at first, but watching his growth when he suddenly found himself in the future was fascinating, and he truly became a much more complex and thoughtful human. Then, when he went back, I really enjoyed how he helps Ash also become a good person -- essentially, this is a bit of a paradox where Ash's treatment of Kieran in the future helps Kieran become the man who treats Ash well in the past so Ash can then be the man Kieran needs in the future, if that makes sense, LOL. It was good, and I liked how Raine handled it. This would probably have been 5 stars if Kieran hadn't been such an annoying person in the beginning, LOL.

This book was absolutely amazing!
This book focuses on Kieran who is Dawson’s friend and Ash who is Dawson’s therapist. These two have quite the energy sizzling between them. This enemies to lovers story pulled me instantly and kept me turning the pages.

Both of them are broken in their own ways but together, they actually made each other whole. I enjoyed their banter and Kieran’s snarky and brattiness just took things to a whole new level.

Kieran hid behind a wall, never letting anyone close enough to hurt or leave him. It took him a while to understand that Ash was his anchor: the one he could lean on and who would catch him when he fell. Ash was a beautiful mess himself but Kieran bought out all the best things in him.

Beautifully written, amazing characters and a storyline that left me feeling emotional and smiling at the same time. Ash and Kieran stole my heart: these two were all kinds of crazy but they were beautiful together.

I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series and would strongly recommend reading the books in order.

ASH AND KIERAN ARE EVERYTHING!!! JUST EVERYTHING!!!

THIS BOOK IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT.

When I found out this author was writing this book, I was BEYOND EXCITED! I have been wanting Ash's and Kieran’s story from the first time I saw these two in the previous books. Ash is so wonderful, witty, and very loving. Kieran is so fiery and passionate. These two do not get on from the start, I loved watching them fall for each other. Kieran ends up two years in the future and discovers Ash and him are together. I loved their moments, and they made my heart soar.
