Rate this book
The only thing scarier than a corn maze? Running into your ex.

Big-city advertising exec Alana is back in her hometown -- unemployed, living with her parents, and running social media for the local Fall Festival. It's basically her personal nightmare, complete with forced pumpkin selfies.

Ronnie never left the small town where she grew up. She's poured everything into saving her family's struggling farm, and this festival is her last shot. Until she discovers her new marketing "help" is Alana -- her first love and the girl who broke her heart when she left for the city.

Stuck together among hayrides and corn maze chaos, old sparks reignite. But can they navigate past heartbreak to find their way back to each other?

Fall for You is a cozy, steamy lesbian romcom about second chances, small town charm, and the magic of autumn. Perfect for fans of pumpkin patches, enemies-to-lovers tension, and happily ever afters. This book is a fast and sweet WLW romantic short story in Reba Bale's Second Chances Lesbian Romance series. Each book in the series is a standalone sapphic romance featuring two strong women finding love the second time around.

A quick cozy sapphic romance. I enjoyed it, but knocked it down a star for using AI for the narration.

3 stars. Didn’t care for the characters here. Ronnie jumped to conclusions at every opportunity which is annoying as fuck. Alana was okay I guess but idk, I wasn’t feeling it. Their romance lacked chemistry and I think they waited way too long to have some important conversations. I didn’t hate it, as I liked the side characters and the coziness of the small town, but the romance left a lot to be desired.

1.5⭐️ the writing was bad and the a.i. narration was atrocious (the main character’s name was pronounced three different ways…..) but +1 star for lesbian sex

can you get a second chance..

You’ve made plans.. attend college together, made life plans, declared your love. Everything was set until it apparently wasn’t. Here the enter time you were discussing this your girlfriend knew she was headed to NYU on a full scholarship. WTH.

Now twelve years later she’s back in town after her life blew up in NYC. And of course your mom made arrangements for you both to work together on the fall festival.

What do you do when it turns out you’re still in love with the girl who broke your heart? Guess you’ll have to read Ronnie and Alana’s story. 🙂

A perfectly sweet afternoon read by the pool!

Reba Bale has a talent for writing a quick love story with plenty of heat and laughter. This one is country Illinois based and just perfect in the tenderness and manipulation of loving inter fearing parents. It is a sweet read and made me smile and at times laugh out loud!

Two former girlfriends. Missed communication. Open mouth insert!

Alana made a young age mistake, not telling because she was afraid. Ronnie the other went back to her parents farm!
Alana back home. Ronnie unsure. No communication! What the heck? Are they doing the same thing over again or are they going to open mouth and speak or insert foot? Enjoy?

Falls in the Air

Can two broken hearts mend? Add in falling leaves, a small town festival and close proximity. Alana and Ronnie are reunited on a project for the mayor. Will embers spark a future or turn to ash? Recommended read for romantics who crave a city girl vs small town girl second chance.
