Welcome to Langmeer Academy. A place where more questions are asked than answers are given.

Jaeme is the first female ever to make it into the secretive society, and the first to make the rank of heir inititate. Making it through the door on the basement level is only the first step, though. She now has to prove she belongs by surviving a year of trials to secure her position.

Her fellow heirs are her competition but also her allies, at least they’re supposed to be, if only life were that simple.

Jaeme will discover over the coming months that you can keep your heirs close, and closer still, and that not all secrets in a society will remain hidden when the door opens.

Firefly is a slowburn why-choose romance that will ultimately get there... For now, enjoy the journey. Told through multiple POVs.

Intended for an 18+ audience as it contains mature themes and adult content

Proving she's just as good as the guys

Jaeme is a fierce woman who is taking the men by storm. She is the first woman who has ever held the heir position with the chance of ruling over everything. Her father tried many many times to have a male heir but since it didn't happen they had to make an exception. I mean she could still die.

This book was a wild ride with so many unexpected moments. It's dark and gritty with amazing banter. The spice is fantastic and builds the relationships without feeling forced. I mean they are in their 20s and finally owning who and what they want.

The main underlying story is super Inter and keeps you wondering what will happen next. There is a lot going on but it is presented so you don't get lost.

That ending though was filled will all sorts of moments that will leave you wondering who is on what side, what the reasoning is, and what's next for the heirs.

I love Jaeme coming into this man's world without fear. Her men are loyal and absolutely on board with changing how the future will be run. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Jackson? Onyx? Kye? How am I suppose to decide? Expectations? Reality? Time to choose my path.
Firefly is breaking down social standards one chapter at a time. We are brought into an Assassin's academy and Jaeme is the first female to be allowed in but not withouta target on her back. She has to fight harder and push herself more to prove she belongs. As one of the 5 heirs she struggles with allowing her heart to fall for not one, not two but to three other heirs. She breaks down their walls and pulls them in but will her world accept it? Will they see this as a power play?
The last heir is lurking in the shadows and up to no good. What is he up to? Will the other heirs stop him before it's too late?
I was pulled in fairly quickly and I absolutely loved the premise. It has an amazing plot with a heaping amount of spice. It does end on a bit of a cliff hanger with lots of questions still looming but some already resolved. I can't wait for the next book, and to see how this group of heirs navigate the world they live in.

Advanced read - thank you.

This was a ride.
It starts off normally - in that we get introduced to our fmc as smart/sassy women who is the first female ever to get into the secret society that her family (with others) has been in charge of for generations. There is trials that the next generation of leaders have a year to complete. During the trials stuff happens and the mmcs are gradually introduced. one is a puppy dog, the other quieter and more lethal and the final one much darker with... baggage.

The story progresses with drops of information that something is going on while the relationship develops. It's a planned duology so it ends with only some things being resolved and a few things hanging.

I enjoyed it - it's well paced and the banter is good. There were a few scenes I laughed at among the darker moments. It's well balanced. It's also quite spicy but the spice is written well and does fit contextually.

I can’t put it down, I was intrigued from the beginning when Langmeeer Academy was presented.

Action, laughter and spice, an emotional dark romance that drove me crazy.

It was a ride witnessing Jaeme’s story, the tough trials she has to face and feelings to deal with.

She has three men deeply in love, willing to do anything to be with her.

Mysteries, twists and a relationship in development, I can’t wait to find out how the story unfolds 🤩

I loved this book! But I need answers to the cliffhanger ending now! When is book 2 coming out!?
I loved how Jaeme was written she is a badass that doesn’t need a man to fight her battles for her but she is also feminine and a little girly in a way that she lets her men look after her too! Now her men I totally get how it is impossible to choose between them they are everything Jaeme needs in their own way and it is perfection!

I loved this. Read it over two days as I couldn't stop reading. It made me laugh and then the ending stepped up and I want more.
great time spent on the characters I felt they were each developed well and seperate from each other. also Kye is my favourite as I felt his pain viserally. It was wonderfully written. thank you so much for my first arc. I can't wait for book two!

Dark, heavy and enticing. Complex characters showing the spectrum that humanity lives in.

I really loved this book. I love a strong female in a completely patriarchal society.
Breaking through walls Jaeme find herself along with four others heirs being put through trials to become the next leaders of a secret society. She does find herself falling for 3 of the four heirs. Jackson the happy golden retriever
Onyx the quiet strong genius
Kye the broody dark wildcard
I do wish a bit more substantial things happened in this book. The relationship building is amazing but I wish there was more drawn out secret society parts. The last little bit of the book though was awesome I want more! I'm excited to see where this group ends up and what the super sketchy fith heir is doing.
