I thought I put the past behind me. The bullies of high school, the awkward shyness that kept me close to home up until graduation. Things have been great for my junior year of college, especially now that my step-brother doesn't live at home.

Chase. The antagonist of my life since our parents had gotten married eight years ago. My step-brother has gone out of his way to make sure I never felt welcome after me and my mom had moved into his house. Always watching me with those cold, expressionless eyes of his.

I'd expected the same when he arrived today for his annual visit home from med school for Halloween, but no.

Instead he gives me an ultimatum. One night in the woods---me, him, and his best friend.

Say no, and we go back to how things have always been between us. Tense, unbearably so.

3.75⭐️ this is one of those Novelas that you get exactly what you signed up for. A fun, fast paced smutty little good time. Bonus points here because it is a taboo step sibling romance and it’s ALSO a why choose🤭

Nothing gets me going more than when an MMC comes off as if he can’t stand the FMC but then you get to his POV and he’s actually fucking obsessed with her . Every move, he makes everything he does is for her in someway and when I tell you, Chase literally had to be held back from devouring this woman I mean it. I love that kind of feral energy.

We got a little primal play a little mask play and a really hot group scene. I thought this book was a great time and it’s a perfect novella to bang out in one sitting especially this week.

It was an ok read for Halloween with a smidgen of spice, masked men and not much plot.

Perfect for spooky season!

Leigh has always been the shy one. When going to parties with her best friend, May, Leigh is not the one the boys flock to. Until one party where she meets this guy.. Chase, whom she can’t seem to forget about.

Fast forward and Leigh’s mother gets remarried and her new husband has a son who is now Leigh’s stepbrother. What a coincidence that her new stepbrother is the guy from that night… Chase. Now she’s living under the same roof and she can’t help but fantasize about what it would be like for Chase to want her. She’s so good at these fantasies, she even writes about them. Anonymous of course because she would be absolutely mortified if anyone found out what she says in these stories. Well her worst nightmare is about to come true.

Chase and his best friend, Danny can’t help but mess around with Leigh. That’s because Chase just can’t leave her alone. They manage to get ahold of her computer and Chase comes across these stories that Leigh has been writing. Now he knows it’s game on for Leigh. He’s going to make her his… in the way she wants it the most. This Halloween is about to be a night Leigh never forgets.

DEEEEVOURED!!! Creep is the PERFECT spicy, taboo, novella for spooky season. I mean primal play and masked men?? HELL YES! L. Taylor delivered what she intended to deliver. The pacing was perfect with how it moved from family awkwardness to full on taboo situations. The chemistry between Leigh, Chase, and Danny was EXPLOSIVE!!! So freakin HOT!! If you’re looking for a super quick, taboo, Halloween thrill.. then look no further. This book has all the heat with a little bit of vulnerability to go along with it. Perfection! 4.5 stars!!

First of all, I need a best friend like May. She’s daring, reckless, unbothered to the max yet still supportive and loving. Her energy is magnetic! Even though she doesn’t appear much in the book, her presence is addictive. Honestly, I hope she gets her own story one day.

Secondly, I want more. I NEED more of Chase, Danny, and Leigh’s story. I’m treating that ending as a cliffhanger (just to make myself feel better, of course). Their dynamic is absolutely addictive, and I can’t stop thinking about what happens after this?

This was such a quick read. You could easily finish it in 1–2 hours. I loved every part of it. It’s fast-paced, yet nothing feels rushed or out of place. It’s hot, spicy, and laced with just the right touch of thrill. Loved it!

Oh she did it again! I got to read this early and I haven’t stopped thinking about it yet. This book was the perfect novella and just the intense spice I have come to expect from this incredible author.

The characters development was the perfect speed for a novella. She managed to get a TON into these chapters…and in a way that wasn’t rushed. Check your triggers first becauseeee it’s a menu!

Yea.. YEAAAA, I'm also surprised that I'm throwing that 5th star on here, but this was great. Like weirdly so good.

This is a Halloween novella and it's spicy! We've got MMF and we've also got the stepbrother trope, which.. doesn't always work for me, but here it worked just fine. This also features a possessive MMC.. Well, kind of 2 possessive MMCs? Either way, I loved it. Like unhinged behavior and inside thoughts, but I was vibing.

I would 1,000% read more holiday themed novellas with these same characters. In fact, I'd LOVE to read more of these characters. Please, L. Taylor, pleasseeee...

This honestly might be one of my favorite step sibling taboo novellas. Very quick and enjoyable read. My only complaint is that I wish we got Danny pov and I do want more to see the parents reaction and how that whole situation is maneuvered. Other than that I loved it.

This is the perfect quick read to kick off spooky season, y’all! I originally picked it up just looking for a short Halloween-themed story—but ended up wanting so much more by the end (which, to me, is always the sign of a great writer).

Definitely take a moment to read the trigger warnings before diving in. But if you are into the taboo topics, this one's a great intro—especially if you're curious about the triggers but not sure if it's your thing yet. It centers mainly around the chase (you’ll see what I mean 👀), so it’s a good way to test the waters.

In Creep, we follow Leigh, who’s grown up constantly tormented by her stepbrother, Chase, and his best friend, Danny. With the boys home from college and Leigh newly single, they fall right back into their usual routine of messing with her—until they stumble across the spicy stories she’s been writing for some extra cash.

Instead of using it against her, they decide to help her finish one of her works-in-progress… which just so happens to involve a stepbrother chasing her on Halloween night. And let me tell you—these boys absolutely take that storyline and run with it. The way it ends… 🥵

Leigh has a bit of a complicated relationship with her step-brother. He's intense and unnerving, he puts her on edge just by being near and she's sure he doesn't like her. This, as it turns out is the opposite of true. In fact, Chase might be a little obsessed with his sweet step-sis.

Now he, his best friend, and Leigh are home alone during a fall break and Chase is trying his hardest to keep his obsession under control. Then he and Danny read Leigh's naughty stories and suddenly all bets are off. He's willing to give her all the things she fantasizes about and let his obsession break free.

Chase and Danny are intense and a little unhinged, but they make sure they give Leigh everything she needs. Which means a chase or two, a whole lot of pleasure, and two men who are all in with both her and each other.

I must admit I wasn't expecting to like this scenario as much as I did, but way to go Leigh. You found two someones willing to go to some extreme lengths to give you what you crave. *thumbs up*

This was so much fun to read. As it’s a novella, everything happens quickly but it was written so well, that it didn’t feel rushed.

“This is only the start, Leigh. You’re gonna get off on my hand now, and then we’re going to f*ck you exactly like we’ve been picturing in our heads for years. I’m gonna own this p*ssy from here on out, understood?”

The yearning, sexual tension and desire is strong and it will break you on your toes!
Leigh, who has been writing anonymous smut about her step brother, is finally going to live out the scenarios she had imagined.

“All the times you had to play with this p*ssy yourself while you pictured me sneaking past our parent’s room to come climb into your bed.” He clicks his tongue and I shiver. “Ride him, Leigh.”

This was such a good, quick read and I couldn’t put it down!

I couldn't wait to read this book and it didn't disappoint! I absolutely enjoyed it! This novella is a spicy step brother taboo romance that leaves you biting your lip at every turn of the page! I really want to see more of Leigh, Chase and Danny and where this all goes. I have to know what happens when the parent's get home and if Danny stays or will Chase's monsters be to possessive. I hope not! I love the three of them! This book drew me in with its engaging writing style and well crafted characters. It truly was well written and the spice was superb. The plot kept me hooked and the author did a wonderful job at world building. There is some content warnings so make sure to read those. I highly recommend this book! I cant wait to see what this author comes out with next! Thanks L Taylor!

I LOVE a spicy novella. I LOVE masked men. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE a taboo romance. Needless to say, I loved this.

This was a delicious, quick, and dirty read STUFFED (tee hee) with all the goodies. I thoroughly enjoyed this from cover to cover.

I'm a huge fan of L. Taylor and her writing style. Her ability to spin a story that feels so real and relatable, even though it's a fantasy, gives me LIFE. There is a little bit of this FMC in all of us, and I don't want to give spoilers, but I know the scene in Chapter 13 would send anyone to the moon.

Super fun read, 10/10. Highly recommend.

I have a love/hate relationship with novellas. Seriously, I love them because they can be the most spiciest good time, with a quick and to the point story.. but hate them because they are too short, and I NEED MORE. Now, I absolutely need a much longer story for Leigh, Chase, and Danny. This was an enjoyable read. I was searching for a Halloween novella, and when this one appeared on my Kindle Unlimited, I decided to give it a try. I definitely want to see more of Chase, Leigh, and Danny. I'm eager to find out what happens after Halloween ends—this book truly captivated me. If you enjoy a spicy Halloween story, I highly recommend giving this one a go.

This book was wild in the best way possible. I found it after the author popped up on my TikTok FYP while I was searching for smut-filled Halloween novellas  and it was exactly what I wanted. This was my first taboo read and only my second why choose book, and I’m officially obsessed. The dynamic between the three main characters had me hooked from start to finish. Between Chase and Danny, it’s definitely a “why choose” moment how could you ever pick just one? I loved their chemistry, their chaos, and how darkly addictive their relationship was. I’m really hoping the author writes more with these three, because I need more of them together.

Listen. I was big on booksta a while ago but with pregnancy and life I stepped away for about 10 months. Came back, started fresh. I found this book on facebook this morning and gave it a read because who doesn’t love a good step-brother book. I finished it SO fast because I could not stop reading. This book reminded me just how much I not only loved step-brother taboo books but MM as well. Thank you for reopening my love for it. Now if you’ll excuse me I need to go down the rabbit hole for more!

Such a fun time, so good I read it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down.
Ever wish your taboo books you read could become a reality? Well this one will do it for you! Step brother, over protective, you’re mine, good girl mentality all the way!
Such a fun novella and the way it was written wasn’t all spice, there was plot too which is always fun!
Definitely recommend if you want a quick masked men fantasy of yours to come true in a read for the spooky season!
