Snowed In with her Mountain Men

Rate this book
One minute I’m being pummeled by an abusive landlord,
The next I’m being rescued by a trio of beautifully ripped Marines,
Hellbent on carrying me back to their sprawling, winter cabin.

They bind my wounds, and set me before a roaring fire.
But not before telling me “We’ll never let anyone hurt you, again.”

By now I’ve lost everything, my whole world shattered,
Yet somehow I can’t stop staring at those bulging arms,
broad shoulders, and whole oceans of chiseled abdominals.

Yet their own eyes trace my every curve, and not just one, but all three.
One cold night they make their princess. Happily, I make them my world.
So when the blizzard of the century buries us beneath a mountain of snow?
There’s no end to the pleasures they heap upon me… over and over again.

But my Marines harbor a mysterious secret, and danger threatens our perfect world.
Can my three protectors keep me safe from harm?
Or will I be the one to rescue them, finally, from the forces against them?

Snowed in with her Mountain Men is a thrilling reverse harem love story filled with danger, suspense, mystery, and the most rugged, swoon-worthy soldiers this side of the Rocky Mountains. HEA Guaranteed!

Okay, let me just say—moving into Krista Wolf’s snowy mountain cabin world was the best decision I’ve made this week. This book? It’s basically survival romance at its finest. Forget space heaters—what I really need is three ex-Marines with biceps the size of my sanity and hearts even bigger.
From the very first scene, I felt every ounce of pain, relief, and oh-my-god-did-the-room-just-get-hotter intensity. Our heroine goes from broken down and bruised to wrapped up in a cocoon of safety, affection, and… well, let’s just say these guys know how to keep a girl very warm in a blizzard. 🔥
Cole, Jax, and Mason (aka the holy trinity of rugged, protective mountain men) aren’t just easy on the eyes—they’re loyal, fierce, and the kind of men who look at a woman like she’s the center of the universe. And the chemistry? Off. The. Charts. Every scene crackled with tension, tenderness, and that delicious push-and-pull between vulnerability and desire.
The story gave me everything: suspense, a few heart-pounding twists, and enough heat to fog up my Kindle. It wasn’t just about survival—it was about healing, about finding love where you least expect it, and about learning that sometimes the safest place in the world is in the arms of people who refuse to let you fall.
So yes, Krista Wolf… you got me good. I’m not only snowed in, I’m snowed under—with swoons, sighs, and a one-way ticket to “Mountain Men Fantasy Camp.”.

Repetitive

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this book it is a good read.

After reading many of the authors books, this jut seemed like the same story over again except names were changed and the appearance and careers changed but the story the same. It was a good story I just was expecting a new plot.

Looking for a major life change, Camryn leaves the sunshine and her home in Florida for the mountains of Montana.  In the process of writing her first novel, she longs to experience the same winter cold that the characters in her novel are experiencing.  Not at all financially prepared for the series of mishaps that she  encounters upon her arrival, she falls behind in her rent, making her landlord furious. When he arrives one night, demanding payment and not receiving it, Camryn finds herself being assaulted and her career livelihood threatened. Saved by two men as they notice something's wrong at the cabin they were driving by, Camryn finds herself waking up from being knocked out in an unknown cabin with three handsome me.

Ryder, Oakley and Jaxon are all best friends having met during their time serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. Currently,  Ryder teaches snowboard lessons at local resorts, in addition to being the hot head amongst their group.  Jaxon is a local tattoo artist and ex-military sniper. Oakley is now the area's assistant deputy cop.

All three live together in a mountain cabin they inherited from their military mentor and close friend, Sarge. In addition to being left his cabin, Sarge also left behind the mystery of stolen uncut diamonds. Did he steal the diamonds and hide them before his death or not?

Not having a cabin to return to, Camryn remains living in the cabin with the guys. The chemistry between the 3 guys and Camryn is palpable. As she gets to know each man on a deeper emotional level, coupled with their physical attraction, Camryn finds herself falling for each man--- and they with her.

Can they successfully turn their temporary situation into something more long term? Will they discover the mystery of who is stalking them and their cabin? Will they ever determine if Sarge really did steal the diamonds all those years ago?

I loved that this book was long on plot. There were twists I never saw coming. The diamond heist angle was pretty unique and it was refreshing to not have to read elements of the same regurgitated storyline many other authors use. Snowed In with her Mountain Men was extremely entertaining and a joy to read.

Steamy, Fun, and Full of Chemistry
Snowed in with Her Mountain Men is the ultimate cozy-meets-spicy escape. Krista Wolf delivers a heroine you can root for and three irresistible mountain men who each bring their own brand of charm, heat, and swoon-worthy moments. The snowed-in setting makes the tension and intimacy even better—you feel trapped in the cabin right along with them, and it is delicious.
The pacing is quick, the banter is playful, and the chemistry is off the charts. What I loved most is that it’s not just about the spice (though there’s plenty of that!)—there’s also warmth, humor, and real connection. If you enjoy reverse harem romances with rugged men, snowy nights, and plenty of steam, this book is a must-read.

I have never read anything by this author, but I am definitely interested in reading more. She develops the characters in a way that you are right there with them. I have to say that Jaxon was my favorite character, he is quiet by nature always in the background until he is ready to reveal himself. An introvert at heart.

Snowed In with her Mountain Men

What starts out as a rescue of Camryn by two sexy, former military men, leads to her living with the three brothers -in-arms mountain men in their large log cabin. Naive Florida born Camryn is unprepared for the Rocky Mountain winter, and her three rescuers intend to keep her safe and warm in their cabin, and hopefully in their beds. They are on a secret mission to find a hidden treasure that someone else is also looking to find. Who is the mysterious treasure hunter that is lurking around their cabin? What happens when he confronts them?

So Much Snow!
Camryn left Florida, headed to Montana to see snow and write her novel. But, late rent and an assaultive landlord leave Camryn in trouble, fortunately, Ryder and Oakley are there to rescue her. I loved how utterly male Ryder, Oakley and Jaxon were, while Camryn’s embracing of the situation really moved the story along, making it action-packed. Just a great, fun, wild read.

New experiences to write about

Snowed In with her Mountain Men is a scorching hot RH story. Camryn is an author who wants to experience the cold winter for herself, to help her write what she is writing about her characters. But things turn ugly with her landlord when she falls behind on the rent due to financial troubles. Lucky for her she is rescued by two men who bring her to the cabin they share along with another. She meets Jaxon, Ryder and Oakley, three big, burly, built, handsome and very sexy mountain men. It is one quick and steamy slide into a romance with each of them and then things really overheat, with Camryn experiencing a lot more than she could ever think of.
The story rolls quickly, with characters that are likeable, and a story-line that definitely has you reaching for something cold to drink.

Delightfully Sinful

I don’t know if anyone does a RH romance quite like Krista Wolf. I read Stephanie Brother and Rebel Bloom and while I love their style Krista Wolf is able to have hunky handsome men fall hard for a fun, strong and sweet woman. The dynamic is always fun to read and the story always includes excellent plot and action. I really enjoyed this book I only wanted to find out what befell the landlord but I’m about to read the bonus epilogue so I’m hopefully he got his comeuppance.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Camryn, Ryder, Jaxon, & Oakley. When this book opens we find Camryn in her little place on the hill just trying to write. The problem she is having is a little writers block has hit. At this same time her landlord has decided it is time for her to pay her past rent one way or another. After crashing through the door Camryn knows she will be forced to do anything to save her own life. Ryder knows there is no way that a cabin this far up the mountain should have the door wide open. When Ryder & Jaxon hear her cry out there is no way thy are leaving her alone in this little cabin. Can they fall find a HEA or others make sure that this never happens?

Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how Oakley and Ryder saved Camryn from her creepy landlord and later gave her a place to stay. Oakley, Ryder and Jaxon had a secret but eventually let Camryn in on it. I liked how they all got to know each other and then fell in love. There was someone watching them who was a surprise. Misunderstandings caused some problems and injuries but they were cleared up. The secret proves right and lucrative. A new member is added to their group. Bryce is a new friend to all of them but returns home. I liked the life that Oakley, Ryder, Jaxon and Camryn built together.

This reverse harem novel follows a very familiar story arc—you’ll likely have read something similar before. The length is standard for a novel, and while the pacing works fine, the plot is predictable and the characters don’t feel unique. An okay read if you enjoy the trope, but it doesn’t bring anything new.

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building and I liked the characters. The story started with the action and danger and wasted no time. Camryn was in danger and Ryder and Oakley saved her and brought her to their home where they lived with Jaxon. Ryder was my favorite. I loved his personality. I liked how she got to know each of the guys, and the relationship that develops between them. Their chemistry sizzled. This is the first story I've read by this author and I would read more. 4 stars

Snowed In with her Mountain Men

Gah, what can I say about this book? It had everything. Mystery, suspense, spicy (level 5 out of 5 chili peppers spicy) scenes and closeness. I loved how the characters got to know one another. It wasn’t all about the bedroom. Sure there were a lot of … intimate moments but they talked and got to know each other so well that it gave me goosebumps. Definitely going on my reread list!

This is a great story that had me drawn in from the start & couldn't put it down. Yeah there's plenty of steam going on so have your fans at the ready but there is a sweet, heartbreak, sass & fun that binds them together. There's a secret that they are trying to find but this brings a touch of drama & surprise that the guys didn't expect.
Once you start reading this you won't want to put it down.

Pretty good.

The story line was good. It's fast paced and fun. The characters are very likeable. The mystery was easy to solve, long before it come out in the story.

However, the military aspect should have been researched better. The army has Chinooks, not Marines. Marines don't call their higher ranks, "sarge". There were also a few more erroneous factoids interspersed.

Kinks/Tropes: marines, snowed-in, mfmm, oral, anal, threesome, group scene

Thoughts:

This was spicy yet mild, at least for me. After the first initial few sex scenes, a majority of them were closed door or fade-to-black. It was a good book, I just didn’t connect with the characters.

Camryn meets Ryder, Oakley and Jaxon who are together looking for something in their cabin and she needs help. I like that each person has their own personality and brings something different to the story.

It was fine. Nothing innovative here, nothing bad. You get what you expect with a wintery (but not holiday) theme.

Camryn is a writer and wants to experience what she is writing about. So, this has her moving from Florida to Montana to try and complete her book. However, she didn't expect to struggle so much while doing it. She ends up behind on rent and her landlord shows up and starts beating her. Two men rescue her and end up taking her back to their place. Jaxon. Oakley and Ryder offer her a place to stay and its not long before things heat up between them all. Will this turn into something more?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.
