When Jett’s life spins out of control, the last thing she expects is for a fallen stranger to crash into her world—literally. He’s dangerous, mysterious, and fine enough to make her question everything she thought she knew about love, loyalty, and survival.Naz isn’t just any man. He’s hiding secrets that defy logic… secrets that make him powerful, untouchable, and unlike anyone Jett’s ever met. But power comes with enemies, and Naz has more than his share—enemies willing to do anything to destroy him and anyone who dares love him.
In a city where passion collides with danger and trust can get you killed, Jett is about to learn that sometimes the hero you prayed for… is the same man the streets warned you about.
*** This book is a slightly revamped re-release, previously called “He Fell from the Sky” ***
Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.
Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.
Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.
“A fallen angel with a few cracks in his armor, out here usin' the darkness to find the light.” - Naz
Jade Jones never misses! I absolutely have enjoyed Heaven Sent Me A Hood Hero! This series has been absolute chefs kiss for me! I cannot wait to read the novella as a follow up and check in on these characters!
This one jumps right in where we left off in Part 1. We get answers to questions we had and of course in true Jade Jones fashion, she throws in those shocking moments that will leave you gasping and wondering how we got here or how you missed this!
Jett and Naz are officially official. Naz has become extremely protective over Jett and Yamir and that’s become a family, which honestly I enjoyed watching them build their bond and becoming a family it’s special.
Neon is still annoying as ever and right along side Kace might be the most hated character. The truth begins to unravel about what Kace does for a living.
Yamir faces some challenges and you see a different side of him and Deja throughout Part 2.
Naz deals with his past and tries to right his wrongs and make things better with his past. But can he be forgiven? Time will tell. Naz also tries to learn how to channel his powers/energy that he’s been given and make sense of it and use it for good.
But there are still lies that have to be unburied that will rock you and shock you as you and obviously, I can’t spoil that. But when I tell you…. THE ENDING, before the END ykiyk had me so furious!
This is one of my favorite from Jade jones. I usually don’t like reading supernatural stories but this one is an exception. I feel like I didn’t get enough from the main character point of view because of the minor characters; they’re part was unnecessary and a waste of space. Besides that, this series has the potential to continue for part 3 and more or a spin off from Yamir or Deja.
When I say I wasn't ready for everything that took place in this part.... I wasn't ready. Jade you are amazing and I love the love story between Jeff and Naz. When I say this book had me on an emotional rollercoaster, but I was rooting for them. And I am so glad that Yamir is full healed he desires to live is life to the fullest. This was an amazing story.
All I’m gonna say is my eyes are currently red and swollen and I’m balling up tissues. This finale was amazing. I don’t even know if this is considered paranormal or what, but it was way more than I expected, and I loved it. Still trying to get my emotions in check. The ending. Chefs kiss.
From the moment I started this book I’d been on the edge of my seat. Every page turn was suspenseful. I can’t believe how emotional this book got me. All I have to say is baby if you haven’t read it yet please do, it’s worth every second. Jade girl you did your biggest one with this one. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store.
Well, Jade really came through on this one. I was about to DNF book one, but gave it a chance. So glad I did. Book two is where the action is baby! The spice is spicing coming in at 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and the book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. When I say the last few chapters had me holding my breath then I was mad to sad and finally happy. Loved it!
The way this book had me crying tears . The end of the book with the alley scene with Naz and Jett, definitely had me in my feelings ! I love how it ended tho and hopefully one day we all can find a hood angel lol
This was such a great read. I fell in love with Naz, Mari and Jett. I love the way their characters develop, their stories. Such a great story. I was literally crying at the end! 10/10
This book was so good. It gave you drama and heart break, love and anger. I’m just glad that Jett finally gave Neon that work. Naz was great anti-hero. The scenes were great. I can’t wait to read more from the authors catalog.
I’m so excited to read more of Jade’s works because this book and the first in the series had me stuck to my kindle in extra second of free time I could spare. The plot, the suspense, the book is everything!
after the first book, i was so glad there was a part two. this series is the kind that leaves you with a grief after you finish it because the story is over, however Jade definitely closes any loose ends and the ending is a happy one ❤️
Love me some Jeff and Naz. There love story was the best. I would have love to read when he finally meet his son. But overall it was a great read. Thank you again.
