I bought this book shortly after it was first published. Many of the pages are stained and dog-earred and the cover has seen better days. This is a book that has been read cover to cover more times than I can remember and used regularly.

Mimi Wilson and Mary Beth Lagerborg have a clean and casual style of writing that invites the reader to stay a bit longer. Their ideas for family dinner times are excellent and we have implemented many of them into our family dinner times.

The recipes are easy, tasty, and not terribly expensive. Most of the recipes are kid friendly. These ladies do use a lot of cheese, number of canned soups, and other convenience foods.
